In the Nightmare room I had someone take over Dolly and make her attack them. I wasnt happy. Then another person made it so Dolly bled, but in my description on the front page I even put that she doesnt. To me that is godmodding.

emotion_jawdrop So...when somebody does that to your character, how do you deal with it? I still don't know how to deal with stuff like that, and I don't want to wind up starting World War III if somebody does that to me and I handle it wrong.
sweatdrop First I send them a PM telling them not to godmod and explain what it was they did that was considered so and that it is their first warning. Then I quoted their post underlining and bolding the part that affected it and OOC informed people to ignore it since it is considered godmodding and is frowned upon.
In the PM I usually put something like this:
(Character's name) in (Forum name/event name) is my character, and I dont appreciate you taking control of my character and (the problem/what they did). This is considered godmodding because you did not ask permission to take control of my character. Godmodding is frowned upon and I would appreciate you editing your post to remove any action not having to do with your own character(s). This is your first warning. Please do not godmod me or any other host or guest at the event. You are of course welcome to keep roleplaying with us as long as you follow the rules. ^.^
And in the quote I usually do this

Rogue does not have permission from Alvinette to use her character. This is considered Godmodding and is frowned upon. This situation HAS been handled so no need to make them feel unwelcome but please ignore these actions as if they did not happen. Apologies to anyone that this change disrupts the actions of but please go back as if this never occurred. Thank you kindly^.^))
