O D D Dear journal,
I met a boy half Dovaa, half Oblivionite called Tyrok. He sort of almost scared me out of the tree, but we spent some time together and I think he's just quite fascinating. He wants to pick Ysali as his clan because his mother is a herbalist, I forgot to ask him where he lived because I think he needs more friends. I wouldn't mind being friends with him, he seems quite nice and actually listened to what I had to say and stuff without laughing at my opinion. I hope I get to meet him again some day, even if we cross paths briefly.

E V A L U A T I O N x W I T H x T H E x M A S T E R To say that Esmeralda as nervous about her meeting with her profession master was an understatement, she`d spent all night up reworking all the notes she`d taken down on the Peisio dragons. She hadn`t cried in a long time, but that night had broken her down so many times her eyes were still red even if she hadn`t cried in a few hours now. She`d skipped breakfast, and was now starving with a growing headache and rumbling stomach. However, all her notes were in a neat order, everything had been rewritten and there wasn`t a single sheet of paper that was crumpled or that had some dirt on it. Esmeralda was quite happy with her work, but would she finally be able to be called an adept?
A few other apprentices were already in line by the time Esme had made it there, it didn`t seem like anyone else had rewritten their notes. Maybe she shouldn`t have done so, sleep would have been good to her. No use dwelling on the past now, the few other Dovaa in front of her were dwindling and everyone coming out of the office weren’t looking too pleased with their results. Esmeralda had heard the rumors of course; the profession master was harsh on the apprentices. Lateness, bad work, and errors were no good to him and if you were no good, you were no good to anyone else.
When her name was called up, Esmeralda gathered her wits and moved towards the door and into the spacious office. The master was old, sitting in an even older looking leather chair by the window. There was an empty seat in front of him, which he beckoned Esmeralda to sit on with a wave of his hand. Once she was sitting, he extended his hand towards her cuing her to hand over her research. With trembling hands, she did so and finally he turned to look at her.
“What is your name little one?”
“Esmeralda Vorporian.”
“And what is it you bring to me?”
“My research on the Peisio dragons."

The master stared at her for a few silent moments; Esme stared back to the best of her ability. Granted she didn’t like it when people stared her down as he was doing.
“I’ve heard of you.”
Esmeralda didn’t even know if it was a bad thing or a good thing, so she stayed quiet and looked out the window instead.
“We’ll let you know if you graduate, off you go now.”
He was making her leave early? Well that was unexpected… Getting up slowly, Esmeralda left as quietly as possible not knowing if she’d passed or not.

T H E x D R A K E I N Dear journal,
I am unsure as to what to what to think of this new race of dragons, others don't seem to treat them like the other dragons even with their draconic appearance. I wonder if this will have great impact on the war, whose side will they chose? What if they don’t choose a side at all? These are all questions that buzz in my mind, but the one burning on my lips is if they too also hunt the other dragons. If so, people will be running out of dragons to kill, and if that’s the case, I fear the war will take on a much greater violence.

I met an Orderite in Astral city today, she was selling her wares. I bought something from her; it was really odd seeing someone from another race amongst all the Dovaa. I wonder how she got permission to come into the city… Mustn’t be easy because no one is allowed inside with us. She was nice though, really nice.

N E W x E N E MY ? Dear journal,
I don’t know if anyone will be able to count on the Drakein as friends, especially if they all have a stubborn mindset as this Grrel I’ve met. Of course I could be way out of line here, she is the only Drakein I’ve met, but if they are all like that I hope she is the last I meet. It’s sort of deterred me from trying to acquire an egg through rightful means, I’d never steal an egg, but now I barely would want to touch one! We’ll see if I ever meet another Drakein, but only time will tell.
