xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxOh sweet lungs don't fail me nowxxxxxxxxxxYour burning has turned into f e a rxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxThat trails me in every stepxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxI'm moving quick but; you're a l w a y s on my heelsxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxJust one more breathxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxI b e g you please>> {Eldest} Prince and Laidback Nymph ! ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Sync Aramis Walker ❝ Some day, let’s change this country. Change it so that war never happens. Let's change this world. ❞ Lazily, a green haired man rolled over in his bed, his hazy emerald orbs attempting to focus on the bright white notice on his bedside currently reflecting warm rays from the ever vibrant sun. Did it always have to wake him up earlier than he preferred? "Of course it does, what else could it be for?" Groggily reach his dominant left appendage high over his head, Remember's older brother stretched with a loud yawn before snuggling deeper into his sheets. Today was the day he was to meet his new fiancé, and ship Remember off to Prince Soren. . . Whipping upright, the satin sheets blew over to the floor from the force, the Prince scrambling to dress himself.
Remember! How could he forget! She probably woke up early like usual and headed over to their new home for the present time. What if the Faes hadn't arrived yet? She'd be all alone! Tugging up the silky fabric of his pants, Sync Walker strapped two belts in a criss-cross fashion before slipping his tunic overhead and placing the bottom hem over the aforementioned accessories. Next were his high boots, giving his right pant leg an airy feel as some fabric hung out loosely, his left leg bare from his knee to mid thigh. The left pant leg was made as a short, courtesy of himself, with emerald trim. Jingling against his back were the tails of his shirt, the silver chains and crosses reminding him of how late he was and the blue tassels tickling his upper thigh. Gathering up his free locks, Sync jammed the tresses into a green leather clasp with a ruby encased on the lock. Lastly, the Nymph tugged on matching leather gloves with his thumb ring before snatching his coat and shrugging it on. Around his neck was wind charm he never removed, as well as a small charm of his scythe, for easier travel.
Huffing stubborn locks away from his vision, Sync's two hands began to pat down in a daily fashion making last minute checks. Ignoring the incessant knocks from outside his chambers, the Prince nodded in self approval. Not like he had to impress anyone, the Council was far away, and most -- if not all -- the royals would be in their daily outfits, not caring to impress whom they'd marry. Tripping unceremoniously over his tousled sheets, the Prince used most of his weight to open his window before bounding down in the direction the back of the notice held. Always short and to the point his mother, especially when either one wasn't on speaking terms with her. The rush of adrenaline through his veins kept his head light, and the rhythmic beating of his feet bounding on the ground only pushed himself faster, and before long, Sync was outside the massive castle, it's grandeur taking him back. "Jeez! They really went all out on this place huh?"
Calming himself, the optimistic Nymph cracked a few bones before pushing open the doors, only to see he was in fact, very late. But Remember was with Rathina, thankfully, and his worry dissipated. Kierran and Rathy would never allow Wisty to be hurt or insulted if he wasn't around to stop it himself. Speaking of the frosty young man, the Fae was off by his lonesome against the wall, observing everything. Typical Kierran, that was for sure.
"Sorry I'm late." Sync strode over to his sister and friend lightly, laying an arm over the younger Nymph's shoulders, giving a light squeeze to the bare skin. He wanted to look at Jessamyn, he really did, but Soren already knew he had the hots for his sister, and would kill him -- engaged or not -- if he tried to go near her, or stared. The green haired royal wasn't exactly subtle. "So Rathina how've you been?" I found the pieces in my handxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx They were a l w a y s therexxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx It just took some time for me to understandxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx You gave me w o r d s I just can't sayxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx So if nothing elsexxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx I'll just hold on while you drift awayxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Cause everything you wanted me to hidexxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Is everything that makes me feel a l i v exxxxxxxxxx

Kierran let his frosty silver-blue eyes roam across the foyer, settling on Rathina and Remember for a few moments longer. His attention was drawn to the door as another royal entered; Sync, the Nymph Prince. Kierran was lofty friends with Sync, due to their mutual connection of their sisters. Kierran tolerated him, yes, but he was a distant friend, as were most of Kierran's friends. Other than Rathina and Remember, of course. Remember was closer to Kierran then most, but still leagues away from the closeness Kierran shared with his sister. The fae prince looked away from the gathering near the door, and the serpent prince's voice caught his attention with his suggestion to spar. Indeed, that was a good suggestion. However, Kierran knew that he would not be welcome in the least bit. His rivalry between the Serpent Kingdom and the Witch Kingdom was more than skin deep. He had hated those two kingdoms more than he had ever thought possible, and it had just been made worse by his forced marriage to the Witch Princess. The Council really did want to torment his for the rest of his icy days.
Silently, Kierran turned away from the foyer and began to wander down the numerous hallways in the castle. His footsteps were silent, and his cloak that still remained on his shoulders rustled only ever so slightly against his clothing. Mystique padded beside him, silent as the dead of night in his kingdom. The hallways and doors never seemed to end, yet there was always an abundance of light flooding in from the large floor-to-ceiling windows. Kierran's lip curled at the warmth as well. He disliked warmth more than anything. His whole life had been snow and ice, and he had always enjoyed the chill of night and darkness more than the sun and light, and encumbering it, warmth. The moon had always been a friend to Kierran, although in his kingdom, the sun was nearly just as cold. The fae prince let his temperature drop, and consquently chilling the air around him. He sent blasts of cold air down each hallway he strode down, and depending on his power, some frost began to form on the walls as well. However, he kept his iciness in check, knowing that the other kingdoms wouldn't appreciate his handiwork, and kept the chill to a minimum. After all, he wouldn't want to irk his prisonmates.
Kierran paused in his wandering for a moment. Where were his chambers, anyway? It seemed like the castle went on forever. There were a plethora of rooms and even more hallways. Where was the dining hall or the kitchen? Where were the exits to the outdoors? Are there any hunting grounds? Are there any sparring grounds? For as much as the Council put into this place, it seemed that there wasn't much around. Sighing, Kierran turned slowly in a full circle. His eyes took in the grandeur of the ceiling, the intracacies of the wall carvings, and the beautiful furnishings and adornments on the walls. The fae prince resumed his exploring, but halted at an icy white door. Above the door, the ensignia of his kingdom was carved. A pale blue scepter with ice shards and snowflakes in a flurry around it. Kierran laid his hands on the door and was pleased to find it cold to the touch. The prince pushed it open with a blast of cold air, then strode into what he could safely assume was his chambers. And the revolting Witch Princess's, Kierran thought in disgust.
The room was large, and front and center in it was a huge king sized bed with a frost embroidered throw across it in adornment. The room was floored in a white plush carpet, and there was an enormous window on the opposite end, looking out over the pool of water and into the woods. So there were woods. A pleased smile played on Kierran's lips, yet was as chilled as the rest of his demeanor. The fae prince took in the room, with its chandelier above and the two large wardrobes. There was a large sitting chair near the window, with a high back and intracite carvings along its legs and arms. It was padded with a pale blue velvet. Kierran slowly made his way toward the chair, pausing a moment as a mirror caught his eye. Staring back at the prince was an icy reflection, pale blonde hair falling on his forehead and cold silver-blue eyes penetrating the ice. Kierran looked away, somewhat pleased with his cold and cruel appearance. The ice prince stopped at the window, staring out at the scenery laid before him. He shrugged out of his cloak, his wings folding into his skin once again. He laid the white cloak over the back of the chair. His bow lay strapped to his back, which was hidden by his cloak. His pale blue tunic was held tightly to his body in a white leather vest, laced down the middle. The tunic was opened slightly at the neck and chest to allow the prince to breathe. His legs were clad in gray breeches, and white fur trimmed boots came up to his knees. Belted at his waist were his daggers, made with blades of lethal poisoned ice. He carried no arrows, because he created his own arrows of ice at the moment he needed them. His sword hung at his side, mist wreathing around the deadly weapon. The weapon was forged by the king's blacksmiths, and if anyone else was to touch it, their hand or arm would be frostbitten immediately and rendered frozen and useless. It was definitely an incentive not to touch Prince Kierran's sword.
Kierran remained in the room, his back to the door. His tall stature and well-muscled body cast a shadow on the carpet. Regally seated next to him was Mystique, and the pair of companions found peace in each other's company.

☽Ɉess Ͻody☾ Jess glanced back up at her brother in response to her name. She realized her presence there had softened his mood. For the sake of everyone who was not her or Kayden, that was a good thing. Soren could be a beast when he was angry. She didn't know how long she had been away, but it felt like she had been away from Soren for too long. It only made her think about what things would be like after they were married. Soren wouldn't have Jess to confide in when he was angry, and Jess wouldn't have anyone to turn to when she needed someone. Separating them would be hard, and the thought made Jess determined to stay by her brother for the time being. She didn't want to think about being away from him.
Her mind wondered back to Kayden's question. Of course she wasn't looking forward to it. She averted her glance to look around before she answered her friend. She was still trying to get used to her surroundings. She had only been to the surface a couple of times. "Yeah." Jess responded in a sarcastic tone too. Jess was really trying to motivate herself. Unlike Soren she never really expressed her opinion and would go through with this. Oh if only she was to wed the Fea Prince! She thought Kayden was so lucky, but she'd never say that out loud. For now her admiration would remain silent.
Moonshard seemed happy enough to be back with Kayden. Jess personally loved Moonshard, but she had not heard about Soren's run in with him. She smiled slightly seeing him, but dared not to pet him. Moonshard was a wolf and not some pet. But it was enlightening seeing this wolf so happy to be back with Kayden. She was lucky to have such a loyal companion with her. At least this marriage business wouldn't tear them apart. Jess remained silent for a moment, before catching her brother mummer to her.
Zane told her that everything was going to be alright. Was she really that easy to read? Or maybe it was only with him. All Jess really wanted was to be in her caves, playing her beloved violin again. Her violin let eerie echoes reverberate along the walls, adding to the atmosphere she loved. Zane liked playing the piano sometimes too. Oh how she wished that at some point that they could play together. Maybe it would make this place feel more like home; eerie echoes and a solemn piano might do the trick.
"Maybe you're right." She stated to his statement about fighting. "I like the idea."

Her eyes wandered back to Kierran, seeing where he walked off too. His blonde hair was back from his face as he peered up somewhere. Remember thought she saw his shoulders shake and the faintest line of a smile, but her eyes often played tricks on her when the Fae Prince was involved.
Warmth touched her shoulds at the sound of a very familiar voice. "Sync!!!" She exclaimed happily as her other best friend, and older brother, arrived. Her small arm slipped it's way across his back to return the side hug and left her limb there. Rathina was her best friend, but her brother was her rock. Wisteria could talk to him about anything and usually hear all the right things, even if she didn't like what he was saying. The prince thought he protected his sister, but she protected him, too. Did she want her brother there? Definitely not. She didn't want any of them there, and if she hadn't known that Sync was marrying just who he wanted to, then Wisteria would have pleaded with her parents to make it just her. Only make it her that had to go through this, Sync is too much of a free spirit, and the princess would never forgive herself if that free spirit was ruined.
"Sleeping in again, Older Brother? Oh, what ever will I do with you?" The princess faked an eyeroll and only squeezed her arm around him gain. Her neck twisted back again, the white haired prince was gone. Trying to keep her lips from pursing, she disentangled herself with her brother who had just asked Rath a question, Remember dismissed herself lightly to leave them to talk. Was this a lost cause? Probably. Kierran was usually the lonesome type, but this was a different situation then any of them had ever been put in. What if he was hurting and no one bothered to ask about it? Even if he didn't answer or didn't want to answer, it was always better when you knew someone cared then when they didn't ask at all and you thought they didn't. Following the path she though he took, Remember set out after the prince. Only backtracking her steps twice. The marbled flooring left imprints of cold rubber that had once been there, and being a wizz at tracking, Remember found him shortly. The castle was vast and beautiful, but she only allowed herself a quick glance before going back to the door she stood at. The door had been left open, but considering she was sure it was his room, she thought it best to knock anyway, even though he stood just in front of her a few feet. Balling up her first and giving a few raps on the wood door, her voice called out. "Kierran?" The question was audible in her voice as she waited for him to respond

"And how are you my dear friend?"
"Never worse"
Rathina mumbled under her breath, but shortly after, Sync arrived, and the Fae Princess chose not to disturb the Nymph royals as she turned around, fully intending to go to wherever Kierran was in the room. She glanced around, but was soon very distraught when she saw that her dear brother was not anywhere in the immediate vicinity. To make matters even worse, when Sync asked her a question, the tiny pixie still thought that Remember was there. Now that her strongest confidant and her best friend wasn't in the room - the sheer fact of feeling outnumbered from two to three was sending Rathina to a case of nerves. It wasn't that she disliked the Nypmh Prince, not at all! It was far from it! But the sudden disappearance of her brother very nearly sent Rathina falling out of the air and onto the ground. Luckily, she managed to catch herself just in time before she collided onto the palace floor.
""I've been better," the Fae Princess answered honestly, deciding to focus her full attention to the Nymph Prince to somehow calm racing heartbeat down. She flew around Sync's head a few times before lightly tapping him on the nose, "Do I look fine to you?" It seemed that out of their quad-group, only Sync seemed happy with the arrangement. Thankfully, the Witch Prince had not arrived yet, or Rathina would had definitively sprawled onto the ground earlier before bidding a hasty retreat in search for the refuge of Kierran.

Change it so that war never happens. Let's change this world. ❞ "I dunno Baby Sister, I think it may be too late to train this old dog," Letting his free hand swoop across his forehead in despair, the Nymph's plump lips curled into a bright grin. It was hard not to laugh. She looked worried again. Maybe some relaxing was what she needed. But as fate would have it, she flitted away just before anything else could be done to go after the now missing Faerie. Sync swore that blonde trained as a ninja. Agile or not, not even the green haired siblings could leave that quick without a single sound.
"Uhh. . ." How was he supposed to answer that? That was like the "Does this make me look fat" question! Was she talking about her emotional distress, or her appearance, either way, if he said no, he could send her into tears, have Kierran try to murder him -- maybe with Soren since he was to marry his sister -- and Wisty would never look at him again. At least the Kingdoms would get their wanted alliance, but still. Self sacrifice wasn't exactly in his agenda. But what if he said yes? Would she burst into hysterics of how oblivious and ignorant he was? He couldn't outrun her shadow-like brother even if he tried. Both answers would have him killed. Wouldn't that be entertainment to his fiancé and her friends the Witches? He wanted to impress the Serpent not have her laugh in glory at his rotten luck.
The toned Prince was beginning to get cross eyed from focusing on the Faerie before him. Was he to suggest that they find their siblings? What would happen then? Would she take it as a yes or no? Did it matter how she took it? If she was offended or humiliated or hurt by his answer, he was dead. "Y-you always look fine?" It came out as a question more than an affirmation. So much for playing it safe! Sync could've deflated right there. Friends or not, Kierran was practically a God in his eyes, and he didn't want anything to change between the four of them. The emerald eyed guy wasn't too smooth, or strong for that matter and screwed up on a daily basis when it came to talking to any kind of girl -- Rem included.
Wrong the Ice Princess and the Prince wouldn't be wronged, and if he was wronged, then Sync would more than likely crumble and wither away, because he wouldn't be able to even see the model of royalty, or get advice when he needed it from a guy. Sure, his admiration would be intact -- his resolve, not so much. "Why don't we try to find our siblings? Explore our new home? That'll be fun, right? Maybe we'll find something we enjoy, considering everyone made this place to accommodate us!" Sync babbled, barely managing to finish his suggestion without stuttering.
