Peering over the balcony edge, the masked woman considers her prey. There was the host, always an excellent target, or the furiously eating meat-monster. The shy one she dismissed out of hand, but the ex-Mod held promise.
Whoever it was, it should be a spectacular moment and choice.

Charity crept slowly into the party. Her eyes scanned every direction watching every one who was there. She wished that her beloved was here to join in the festivities, but she would have fun being there alone at any rate.

As the hostess moves into the bathroom, the masked lurker makes her choice. With a yell worthy of Xena, she launches herself off the balcony straight at Romuel, intending to catch her in a tacklesnug worthy of the name and roll her halfway across the still-mostly-empty floor.

Mags waved at the newcomers and sqidged in next to Blue. She would have considered grabbing some chocolates for a nibble were it not for the ferocious monster between the fountain and the buffet. This could turn out to be a rather odd night. That and the hostess seemed to have vanished... All chaos could descend!
She jumped in response to the yell which resounded through the hall. It seemed one crazed monster had attacked the other! As the two tussled on the floor far away, Magpie saw her chance. The shiny things called! She bolted for the chocolates and snatched several of the ones wrapped in silver foil. She couldn't help her nature... That and usually ones wrapped in foil had some sort of alchoholic ingredient. She hoarded them in her pockets and stuffed several in her mouth like a hamster. At least most of the crazier folk would probably leave her alone... with the chocolates...

With a groan of highly-amused dismay, Cassi headed toward the coldcuts to see if there was anything still unmolested that she could eat there. Grabbing a plate, she managed to find several slices of various meats that looked safe to consume, and piled them all onto her plate. Not bothering to even look for silverware - or plasticware, whatever - she began rolling individual slices into tubes and eating them as a handheld snack as she surveyed the scene.

Romuel tumbles, deep into the snuggle from Deoridhe, struggling, and kissing at the same time. She tries to look outraged, she tries to look violent, but after a stolen kiss on the lips, she winks at Deo, squeezes her feet into deo's midsection, and launches the offending masked avenger at....

Alliance returned to the party after suddenly disappearing; having had to commute from the Church to her home to pick up identification for her new workplace, and then returning from a different door.

Completely rattled by rommy's, then deo's entrances, bluey curled up on the couch in an out of the way place, and fell asleep.

"Erk!" Cassi jolted and the yowl from Rommy's direction, turning just in time to see Deo come flying in her direction. "Ueh!? Ohhh... son of a three-headed goatmonkey," she muttered, dropping to the floor. Affection, attack, or just plain randomness, like hell she was going to sacrifice her meat to Modist antics! It was her food, dammit! Getting tackled meant either having it stolen or dropping it. And there was no way she was giving up her meat for any reason.

The Masked Snuggler goes flying through the air, propelled by Romuel's solid midsection kick, flying over Cassi's head and landing, safe yet somewhat undignified, on the couches around the fountain.
She straightens her mask and try to look casual, crossing one shiny leather boot-cad leg over the other.

I only entered the world of Gaia about two or three weeks ago, so I'm still in the process of getting to know people and making acquaintances." She smiled. She found it amusing that they could have a composed, nonchalant conversation whilst members of the Church lay sprawled on the floor or attacking each other behind them. She supposed it was nothing new. Just another day in the CoM...

Looking disgruntled, Cassi righted herself somewhat, sitting right where she was on the floor. Glaring about suspiciously, she resumed eating, taking large bites and chewing deliberately, as if daring anybody to try and interfere with her foodtime. Except she wasn't daring them to, actually, she was warning them of a rather violent and possibly humorous demise if they tried.
