Right about as the first guests were about to arrive, Tea realized something... She suddenly was- shy?! Tea- shy. She scampered back over to the balcony and watched the fellow Modists enter.

bluey peeked her head in the main entrance, and soon followed with the rest. Gazing around, she admired the beautiful decorations and the hard work Tea must have put into them. After wandering around to the different areas to look at the balcony, the present table, the magnificent buffet, she went underneath the balcony to call a greeting to Tea and to congratulate her on such a wonderful job. And, of course, to admire her hair and dress.

Tea's eyes shifted rigth and left before she trotted down the stairs and gave Blue a smile.
"Happy Valentine's day!"

bluey beamed in response, and invited Tea over to the fountain lounge to sit and wait for the other guests to arrive, and perhaps to chat as well.

She smiled and walked over to the fountain lounge.
"It'll be great when the others get here. Who do you think will be next?" Her eyes sparkled, there was a giddy lilt to her voice.

bluey sat down in the lounge beside Tea, taking a minute to make sure she was comfy and had a good view of the entrances.
"I couldn't guess - maybe DV or Fiddler?" she replied to Tea's question, looking and sounding lighthearted and at ease.

"I'm afraid that I am neither of those dashing gentlemen, ladies," came a soft, feminine voice from the doorway.
In swept Alliance, in a gorgeous blue gown that she never had occasion to wear. Indeed, the woman was a bit of a tomboy, but nobody could blame her the urge to feel glamorous every once in a while.

"Alli!" bluey exclaimed while waving at Alli. "What a beautiful gown - you look wonderful."
bluey was glad to see Alli, but the comfort of where she was sitting won out and she remained where she was, hoping she did not appear impolite.

Tea's ears twitched at the names and she fidgeted in her seat then smiled as Ally wandered in. It was almost a relief.
"Missed me Ally?" Tea gave a wide grin and made room for the dolled up tom boy to have a seat.

Alliance blushed at the attention. She smiled, though, and nodded her head towards the seated irishwoman.
"Thank you," she said, pleased but slightly embarrassed. "As do you."
She turned her attention to Tea, who was making a space. "Oh, I missed you," she murmured. "I missed you a great deal. How are you?"
She glided over - glided! Who would have thought! - and gave her friend a warm embrace. "Happy Valentine's Day, Tea."

She wrapped her arms around Ally, and had she been more of a lady, she might have been concerned about ruffling the pretty blue fabric.
But, that's not here. Instead she gave her friend a big hug, and a wink. "Guess what I made?"
Even behind the mask there was a sparkle of- well, mischief. Not that she would ever admit that.
"Purple. And Yellow. With..." Her grin was nearly ear to ear.
