s**t, s**t, s**t, s**t, s**t! Takashi had already, after a short debate, been running towards Nakaya. He had to get the group together, to have all three of them fall back, regroup, and counter attack as a team. However, it seemed these enemies favored fighting those that used both Nakaya's and Saiyrui's combat styles. He himself only lucked out because of his gloves and his ability to dominate fire users. When he picked up on the loud pitch, he immediately identified the grenade. Could he bat it away with a kick? No, too risky. What if the contact caused it to explode? Then both of them would be screwed over. Not only that, there were two of them. Only one thing to do.
He picked up the pace, faster than he'd ever gone before. 5....4....3... When he leaped forward, he tucked a grenade into either side with each hand, and cuped them both in front of his chest. 2... "Nakaya! Saiyuri! NOW!" 1... This is gonna hurt. He folded his body over the grenades, hoping what he was doing would work. He was tougher than the two within his group, excluding Hasu most likely. But even this would beat him up. He was banking on Nakaya actually doing what he was told for once, because Takashi didn't know if this was going to put himself out of the fight or not. The force of the leap carried him and the grenades a good ways away from Nakaya, hopefully putting the explosion outside the fight zone.

   Hasu...(Tsukiakari Hikaru - [RPC Profile])Konohagakure | ANBU (ROOT division)Hasu was in a bit of a bind from where he stood, but the situation wasn't out of control. Yuki soldiers such as these had been reported in the past, but they weren't an extreme threat. Even just the three Genin should have been able to handle it without much difficult, which at first it seemed like they were doing fine. Honestly, Hikaru knew that he was not much stronger then these Genin, but his advantage came in his experience and the wide breath of reports and preparation his time as a member of ROOT had granted him. Knowledge had always been power in his mind and it proved itself over and over in the battlefield. That is why ever since he had been trapped in this cage, he was waiting and watching to see if the scene would develop any further, or would reveal a greater threat behind it.
As it appeared however, no such threat had presented itself. It seemed that the warriors simply needed to isolate the most dangerous perceived threat to continue forward, which would be him. Luckily however, even though he was a Genin, he was uniquely suited to escape even a trap surrounded in electricity. Moving for the first time since the cage fell, Hikaru placed his right hand on Kazesenkou, and closed his eyes, feeling the blade's nature come alive in his hand as he spoke the release command for his sword... "Chire" A flood of blue lotus blossom petals suddenly erupted from the blade's sheath as the sword itself was changed into thousands of individual chakra-filled blue petals which spiraled around Hikaru for a second before weaving their way outside the cage. Splitting into two groups, the petals flowed out from the cage and found their way to the cables which provided the electricity, the two separate groups smashing into the cables, flowing around them as the petals chipped and tore away at the cables piece by piece until they snapped and the electricity supplied to the cage was dissipated.
With the petals having done there job, Hikaru was now ready to escape. the shame was that he would not be able to use the scatter technique again for some time, but that aside, there was business that needed attending to. At nothing more then his own internal command, the petals returned to him, flowing through the cage and into his sheath once more, the bright flash of the transformation back into the refined steel of his blade concealed by the sheath. Placing his right hand on the blade in silence, his arm suddenly began to be surrounded in swirling bits of air as his blade was released from it's sheath at blinding speeds. Had it not been for the streaks of sapphire blue streaks which followed behind his blade, the three strokes performed would not have been seen before his sword was returned to his sheath. Standing perfectly still, Hikaru then waited as the cage began to creak and split as the strokes his sword made had cut their way through the cage, splitting open in several pieces, which fell apart to the forest floor all around him.
Free from his cage, Hikaru turned to see Saiyuri struggling by the river, Nakaya no where to be seen, and Takashi rushing to throw himself on a pair of devices dropped by the enemy. Marveling at the stupidity behind Takashi's move, Hasu rushed to the scene only to keep his distance from the blast radius. Luckily for Takashi, in the short span of time he saw the devices he knew them, and judging by the reports he had heard early, the boy would be injured, but not fatally so. He was lucky the enemy had not used a more dangerous device rather then the one meant to debilitate. Ceasing his pursuit of the other two, Hikaru turned to face the three warriors which had arrived to deal with them, but simply stared at them without moving. They would be afraid to approach an ANBU, he knew it... but just how long would that fear hold them back. Hikaru would have to wait and see, and hope that it was long enough to allow his body to recuperate from the use of Kazesenkou's Flash Wind ability. Then again, even if they did attack, his careful positioning and planning would simply make their own attack backfire completely.

Nakaya was beginning to see the gravity of the situation. He mentally kicked himself for being so damn stupid as to think that his enemies wouldn't see through his plan. The bombs weren't a problem for him as he'd seen them dropepd. But Takashi didn't know that. He had valiantly raced ahead intent on saving the boy from harm. Dumbass! he thought knowing that he'd be hurt but not out for the count yet. But as least brashness was in his nature. As of late Nakaya had been acting too much without thinking. It was beginning to show here. So to make up for this, Nakaya took what Takashi had yelled into account. The group needed to come together. He could feel where Saiyuri was, and sensed that a Yuki warrior was with her, in close range too! Instead of surfacing where he would have had the enemies still been there, Nakaya moved quickly through the ground, temporarily leaving the enemies behind and going to meet with the enemy he knew couldn't see him yet. He rose just a few meters behind the man, in a low crouch with his bow drawn. He was too close to Saiyuri to blow him up with his hands. No, he needed to kill with skill and take her safety into account. He pulled back his arrow, still keeping his senses up, and fired an arrow that move in an arc to hit the man in the side of his neck. This way, should he miss Saiyuri wouldn't be harmed. The arrow also flew to the side that the shield wasn't on, so that if the man somehow sensed him that way of avoiding it was gone. The boy was confident his arrow would hit because not only was the man injured, but Nakaya had the drop on him and was focused on what he though was a hurt Saiya. Immediately after firing this arrow, Nakaya drew another and pulled back on the bow, just in case he missed.

Takashi: Throwing caution, intelligence, and wisdom to the wind, your character dives forward grabbing both of the unknown screaming devices and tucked them into your chest waiting for the detonation... which not surprisingly, came a second later. In a bright flash of blue energy you not only feel a force lift you up from where you are hurtling you into a nearby tree, but simultaneously fragments of the devices are lodged in your chest, doing unknown amounts of damage to your body, though none of the fragments pierced deep enough to strike vital organs. More then that however you feel an intense draining sensation as the light released by the grenades seems to suck energy out of you like you have never felt before. You think for a second that you've felt this before when your opponent struck you, but this is far worse. The combined effect of the grenade's fragmentation, the force behind it's explosion, the force of hitting the tree, and the grenade's effect itself leaves you almost completely debilitated on the forest floor. Free prey for whatever might come your way.
{{Never expected anyone to do that. Don't worry, you're not dead... yet. The devices were chakra/stamina drainers... 10 cp/5 sp each. So, you're drained of 20 chakra and 10 stamina... on top of that, the fragmentation of the grenades and the force blow back+tree... add another 10 points of Stamina drain for injuries... Nakaya: Your threat neutralized in a borderline insane maneuver on Takashi's part, you are able to re-direct your movement towards Saiyuri. Your timing couldn't have been better as your surprise attack caught the Yuki Warrior completely by surprise. Never even sensing the presence of his attacker, your arrow pierces through the man's neck mere seconds after his counterattack struck Saiyuri. With nothing more then a gurgle as his last words, the man's lifeless form collapsed into the mud.

Thankful, Takashi nodded at Saiyuri's command allowed her to do her work. He made sure to keep his hands away from her as she worked, fearful that she would either be burned by them or she would put them out; he had little enough chakra as it was, he couldn't afford to allow the flames to go out just yet. "I missed the two that dropped... whatever those were. They sucked out almost all the chakra I have left. I can barely feel my chakra flow, but I can still fight, though.... I got it. Saiya, link up with Nakaya if you can. Ask him for a favor." He winked, know she'd get the message. He needed chakra, and there was one efficiant way to get it, heaven willing and Nakaya having enough chakra to spare one jutsu's worth of flame.
With that aside, Takashi went back to work as soon as he could feel his legs again. "Time for some payback." Luckily, before the grenades went off, he got a whiff of their owners' scents from the devices themselves. He was no Inuzuka, but his nose was pretty damned close to being on par with those dog lovers. He lined himself directly below the two bastards that escaped before, the same two nakaya had fired off arrows at. With a quick inhale and exhale, he jumped from the forest's floor up along the tree's trunk, located the two targets, and grabbed hold of them. He wrapped his arms around the left opponent's neck, the one that an arrow was being aimed for the stomach. With his leg, he kicked the back of the second, forcing any defense he might have put up to be wavered and possibily broken for the second arrow to connect.

An explosion rang out from afar when Saiyuri's breath was knocked out of her, though it of course escaped without a sound. She had thought the shield would not be able to shoot out a wave of energy. A singing feeling based through her, and she realized the energy was burning her. Luckily it also pushed her back. She was shot backward and then landed in the water, grateful for the rush of cold water that soothed her burning. For a moment, Saiya felt so battered she almost did not want to get back up.
Before she knew it, another splash of water sounded. Saiyuri was bewildered for all but a moment before she realized what had happened. Saiya emerged from the water and wiped the water from her eyes. Her opponent lay dead before her, an arrow through his neck. Before she was willing to accept this as a success, Saiyuri waded her way through the water and pressed her hand against the Yuki soldiers neck. No pulse. She pushed away from the body and walked out of the water. Saiyuri saw Nakaya with his bow and felt eternally grateful. "Nakaya!" She said as she quickly ran her eyes over his body to make sure he was not hurt. It looked as if she was worse for wear, which in her eyes was a good thing. Then Saiyuri's stomach dropped as she noticed something. Takashi was missing, and an explosion rang out earlier. Nakaya was here, which meant that Takashi. Her eyes went wide and she turned towards Takashi's position.
Saiyuri took off as fast as she could, but could not move very fast. Saiyuri saw Hasu in his own battle, and spoke once more with Nakaya. "Hasu-san is in battle with three enemies. If you haven't noticed their shields and swords deal with energy attacks. Try and catch them off guard like you did with the soldier in the water, I am going to help Takashi." She said, leaving the range of their link. She found him hobbling along and ran to him. "Takashi!" She said, and put herself under his arm to support him. Saiya forced him to sit down and then even pushed him onto his back. "Leave the rest of the fight up to Nakaya and Hasu-san." She said as she removed her gloves, keeping her own pain out of her face She'd deal with herself later, first it was time to see what was up with Takashi. As usual, he was covered in ash, even riddled with small cuts. What Saiya's attention turned to was the holes in his clothing, or rather what remained of his shirt. The blast had torn away a lot of his shirt. She deduced that Takashi took a blast straight on, and from the jagged scars in his body it was from something capable of shooting out shrapnel.
Saiyuri touched the skin that had formed over the shrapnel, much to her dismay. Somehow Takashi had managed to heal himself, though it was a terrible job compared to what it should have been. "Takashi, you idiot." She said in a soft tone as she prepared herself for the field operation. First, Saiyuri cleansed herself. She was used to this by now, and did not spend anytime watching her hands clean. Instead, she reached into the pouch she carried and removed a sealed bag. Saiyuri rolled the bag out and unsealed it, reaching in to pull out a scalpel. "Please bare with me." She said as she set to work.
Saiyuri swiftly made clean cuts where the markings were, and did not even need to use diagnosis to see where the problems were. The shrapnel had sealed under his skin and even dug itself in a bit more from his moving around. Luckily the damage wasn't that bad, apparently the Yuki Soldiers were not aiming to kill them. Saiya placed the scalpel down and then changed up her technique. She concentrated her chakra towards her hand, and placed them over the first wound. Extracting the shrapnel was fairly easy, but was tedious. Through her chakra, Saiyuri had to carefully push apart his tissue and then suck out the shrapnel. Saiya placed each piece in a little tin she carried in her medical pouch. When that was over Saiyuri took a second to breath and then continued again. "You always go off and get yourself into trouble Takashi..." She said, making sure no one else was near them through her mental reaches. Then, she put her hands on his chest, and began to cleanse his wounds before sealing them.
Now was the easiest part. Saiyuri prepared herself for the next technique and then charged her hands with chakra. They glowed green as she lowered them to Takashi once more. Unfortunately, she had to use a stronger healing technique for this. Saiya concentrated on repairing the wounds from the inside out. After sometime, she finally finished with Takashi. She was not done just yet. Saiyuri turned her hands to herself, and patched up her singed skin. Now, Saiyuri was done. Before finishing Saiyuri packed up her tools and then got up to her feet. "We need to head back to Hasu-sama and Nakaya." She said and headed back in that direction.

Jutsu Used Kiyomaru (Cleanse): It is not always possible for a medical nin to practice basic hand washing and other procedures. This technique has the effect of instantly removing bacteria, dirt, blood, and other contaminants from the user’s hands, lower arms, and face. It also insures that any breath that comes from the user’s body will be free of any bacteria or infectious disease. This technique can also be used to clean the wounds of others in order to prevent infection from bacteria. In the event that the medical nin is using this technique to prevent infection of an injury that has been inflicted upon them, it is used as if the shinobi were using it on somebody else. Tekishutsu (Extraction): When a patient’s body has a foreign object in it, such as the point of a shuriken, a senbon needle, or an arrow, it is important to remove the object without further harming the patient. Using this technique the medical nin places their hands on either side of the injured area and uses chakra to very carefully manipulate the surrounding tissues in order to remove the object without causing any further damage. Depending on the severity of the wound and the nature of the object, it can take anywhere from a few seconds to a few minutes to remove it. Chiyute no Jutsu (Healing Hands Technique): A Ninjutsu technique where the ninja focuses chakra into the palms of their hands, creating a small ball of healing chakra. This chakra, when concentrated, can repair physical damage to another person. This is the more advanced level of Chiyute no Jutsu, used by Chuunin and is required to advance to level five. A Chuunin has learned to use Chiyute no Jutsu with greater control and efficiency and it is now possible to treat deep serious injuries that might otherwise result in death from bleeding.

{{So, umm... this is kind of hard to respond to because there was a lot that people tried to do in a small amount of time. I mean, I have an idea about what is going on but there are a couple of orientation and timing problems. 1. Jade, you can't heal someone like that in the middle of a battle. I mean, you can try, but healing on the level you were trying to administer it requires far more time then an active battle will allow. 2. Tenchi, you auto-hit my NPCs... and more then that, it would be impossible for your character to know that Nakaya shot two arrows at the opponents, much less so WHERE he was aiming both of those shots. You're also assuming that in all the time between when they dropped those grenades and now, they've done nothing and stayed put. 3. Nakaya, you're assuming that the NPCs haven't moved beyond their last action, which is a bit much to assume considering the number of posts that have happened since their last attack.
I'm going to respond with my NPCs as if they acted after Saiyuri began healing Takashi... because honestly, they're not going to just sit there and let you do that while their hanging by grappling cords 50 feet above your head. (So, no post posted after Saiyuri began healing Takashi has happened... you may delete them if you like)
Also, to Nakaya: there are only 5 enemies left. Saiyuri and Takashi both took care of all of their targets. 2 of your opponents are left and all of Hasu's are left. Also, also... you can't salvage their equipment and use it. Consider it broken amidst combat, or possibly that it only works for them.}}

Rushing to Takashi's aid out of pure concern for her ally, Saiyuri began giving medical aid to her comrade without full awareness of the situation around her. Takashi himself had seemed to forget about it as the duo had vanished prior to his 'heroics', but the enemies which had dropped the grenades initially were silently hanging from grappling cords attached to a branch about 50 feet above their position. Keeping perfectly quiet, the Yuki operatives dropped 2 more devices directly over Saiyuri and Takashi's heads as she was tending to him, the devices landing on the ground near them and bouncing once before rolling to their feet, revealing another counter accompanied by the high frequency pitch which was getting louder by the second. The timer showed itself as [00:03]
Using their grappling hooks, the Yuki soldiers then pulled themselves up to the branch they were under, hiding them from the view of the two below them and planned a counter-attack to keep the pressure on the other two below them once they ran for their lives.
Meanwhile, in front of Hasu, what he had expected would occur came to fruition as the 3 warriors showed great hesitation in approaching or attacking him. However, after several seconds, one of the warriors, snapping under the pressure of facing down an ANBU and wanting to succeed in their mission suddenly rushed Hasu, his blade drawn as he slashed diagonally sending an arc of energy directly for him ready to follow the arc itself up with an attack afterward if needed.

Nakaya breathed heavily, watching the man hit the ground. It was only the second man he had caused the death of, and he was beginning to feel just a little sick about it. Those were two men who probably had friends... friends who were expecting to see them again just like him and Aoi. The chance to see them would never arrive as they had both been slain by Nakaya. For a second the boy felt sick... unable to muster even enough strength to breath. All was silent around him for a few seconds... just enough for him to recover his inner strength and will. He was already low on chakra from the day's training, but he had the will of fire in him. He began to search through the nine chakra levels and identify who was who from the signals. Once he found Saiyrui and Takashi, Nakaya also found his two. The ones who had tried to blow him up. He silently pulled back his bow as he saw where they were. They were being quite still, which meant they were being sneaky. He wished he were the Maiyu... that way he could hack into their minds and warn them. There was a saving grace however. Takashi would know they were there thanks to his nose. He knew he could deal with the bombs as Nakaya dealt with the yuki ninja. He quietly got up a tree quickly and moved to position, just as quietly as he could. He was in a bundle of leaves himself, and was aiming right for the ninja. He had two arrows locked in, and he was about fifty meters away, which meant all he had to do was make sure the arrows would fly true and he could at least hit them. He scanned the distance between them, and using his [insight] he would gather the knowledge of his enemies to almost guarantee a hit. So far, he'd seen these ninja in action and he knew what they were capable of to a high degree. They could make blades and shields out of their arms, or fire waves of chakra and grappling hooks form them. These two in particular seemed to like attempting to hide and drop bombs everywhere. He had seen the resulting explosion and knew they were out of range, and he also had a good idea of their speed and agility from watching them avoid his attempted sneak attack. With all of that in mind, he again fired two arrows, moving like pincers, right for the two ninja aimed at their chests. If they were waiting on a perfect moment to strike in the confusion of the bombs, then Nakaya hoped... no he was almost banking on the fact that they would not see these arrows coming. He just hoped more than anything that his comrades were okay.

Hasu...(Tsukiakari Hikaru - [RPC Profile])Konohagakure | ANBU (ROOT division)Hasu could only smile behind his mask as he watched the Yuki warrior's disposition slowly deteriorate in the wake of his ruse as an ANBU. Naturally, the disguise was both a blessing and a curse in many ways, but Hikaru had learned when the proper time to milk the illusion was and in this instance, it had worked perfectly in his favor. The man didn't stand a chance on his own, and yet in desperation he charged forward. Aside from his own impressive insight into normal battlefield tactics, his former knowledge of such bandits and the careful observation of their abilities while they attacked his team had sealed the fate of this man's attack long before he ever decided to make it.
Staring down his opponent as he charged, Hasu didn't even move an inch until it was absolutely needed, his body just turning enough at the proper time as he nimbly dodged the entirety of the arc of energy which shot toward him. Then in two flashes it was over. Having brought his hand to Kazensenkou's hilt beneath his ANBU robes, he drew the blade with such speed and precision that the cold metal edge would barely be visible as it flew through the air, clashing with the enemy's weapon with a large amount of speed and force, knocking it cleanly out of his hand. Having already returned the blade to it's sheath a mere instant after it's draw in true iajutsu fashion, Hiakru then made a swift dash forward, unleashing his blade once more in a single stroke, a shimmer of blue light glinting off of the blade as it sliced diagonally across the man's midsection.
Having already returned the blade to it's sheath, a small clicking sound being the only evidence of it's return underneath his robes, the scene seemed to freeze for a moment until Hasu stood up to his full height once more. A second later, as if his body could not react to it's own demise fast enough, the Yuki warrior fell dead at Hikaru's feet. Hikaru then did nothing else, jsut as he had before, staring down the other two opponents, allowing the scene of what had happened to their comrade sink into their psyche. What they would do next, Hikaru wasn't sure, but in any case, in his mind the battle wa already won. The enemies in front of him would not make it out alive.

Saiyuri paused just before cutting into Takashi, feeling two minds enter her range. They were above them, up in the trees just inside of her ability to feel them. "Takashi! Two above us!" She said as she helped Takashi up and pulled him along to the side. This way the grenades detonated over to the side. Saiya still had their general direction in their head, and motioned towards them as she began to plan. "Takashi we'll have to climb up and battle them." Saiya said as she ran towards a tree and began to climb up it. She reached into her pouch and pulled out a kunai in one hand and three shuriken in another. As she ran up, she told Takashi the plan. Saiyuri stopped running when she was 15 feet away from the Yuki shinobi and safely on a branch behind the trunk of a tree.
"I'll follow you through Hell and back, level the entire shinobi world, or tear down the sky if you only wish it so."
