Era & Ethfael

It was harder than it looked, flying around a Raikou and trying not to get killed by both foe and friendly fire, which was saying something because it clearly looked pretty hard. The long range attacks weren't too much trouble, luckily it seemed that everyone had good aim and when one strayed Era's way she was able to circumvent it. Then came the Ominous Wind. It may not have been Ren's intention to cause her any trouble but wind was something that caused trouble to any flying creature. Eyes widening in shock, Era braced her wings for the impact but was still blown back by the attack, chills running down her spine and causing her to careen to the side, nearly falling but forcing her locked wings to flap and carry her and her mirrors back into the air. Thankfully Ivan didn't lash out at her, and once more she began to circle, deeply shaken by that brush with falling.

When Uluat showed up on the scene, the Pikachu's eyes widened with concern for the other Pokemon, but before she could react a Swift Attack aimed at Ivan took down one of her mirrors, leaving only two and herself. If they all were gone she was in big trouble. Just then, a bolt of lightning from a different source than Ivan shot down at the Raikou. "Arceus dammit," she whispered as it caused the Pendant to glow; what had that Jolteon been thinking!? Her other two copies were gone from the force of the blow, but she wasn't thinking about that. "Uluat, watch out!" she shouted, diving down and grabbing the Gligar's claw to force him off to the side of the Raikou. It accomplished the goal of getting him out of the way, but unfortunately it put her practically on top of Ivan just as he released the Extrasensory.

Pain, it was sheer pain. The Pikachu seized up and gasped for breath as the psychic power locked her wings, her limbs, everything. Her thoughts were in total disarray which also didn't help the matter; she'd been expecting intense physical pain, but not mental. It hurt so badly, so badly. She fell to the ground as Ivan sprinted away, hardly noticing that he was doing so. Everything hurt, her senses on mental, physical, and emotional overload. She simply lay there sprawled on the ground as the focus changed with the Raikou's position and her mind tried desperately to put itself back together.

Ethfael watched what happened with shock and anger, his gaze hardening as he followed the Raikou's path toward Celsus. While he wasn't the biggest dragon on the field, he was the largest next to Celsus, and when Celsus tore off it crossed his mind that he might be next which worried him until he thought about Era. It is a very well-known fact that you should never make a dragon, no matter what condition, angry. Slipping outside of his own barrier, the Dragonair's target was locked on Ivan. He narrowly avoided a lightning bolt that seared down right beside him, feeling a few of the sparks that leaped from it onto his skin, but disregarding it. Honestly he was in enough pain already that a few sparks didn't really affect anything. Sending a pair of Dragon Rage attacks at Ivan the Dragonair took a deep breath in, preparing for what he was about to do. His adrenaline and anger gave him the ability to straighten up and eye the fight on the other side of the area. That Raikou would pay.

Tris & Maestro

Maestro watched from the sidelines as before, a look of glee on his face as he watched them all fight. It was really rather amusing to watch everyone throw themselves at one opponent and still come to no effect. This was what it was like when one fought a Raikou was it? Fascinating. The Zorua thought himself smart enough to stay out of the way, until Ivan charged the Gyarados that was nearby himself. Perturbed by the sudden change he hurried out of the way, sending a passing and rather half-hearted Dark Pulse at the Legendary. He was simply far too interesting to defeat in the Zorua's twisted mind. It disappointed Maestro when Celsus ran, but he sent a mental pulse of Extrasensory at Ivan to assist the others.

Tris' eyes widened as he jumped out of the way when Ivan charged, turning to see what was going on. He just caught sight of the Gyarados fleeing before something cut through him painfully. Lightning struck the place where he stood and he felt the searing pain of electricity running through his veins. Although it was there for just an instant it felt like an eternity. Ground Types weren't supposed to feel electricity, but there it was. He fell to his knees panting, not paralyzed, but not in great shape either.

Singel Uluat Shurinet Quinet

❖✺❖✺❖✺❖✺❖✺❖✺

Uluat quickly tried to adjust from the throw Era gave him as quick as he could and watched as she got hit with the Extrasensory. He yelled out and quickly tried to help her, but a bolt of lightening zoomed by his head and nearly hit him, forcing him to adjust his flight path. By the time he was back in the right trajectory, Era had fallen. He immediately chased after Ivan, hoping to find someway to get after the Raikou for what he had done.

Shurinet and Quinet still were chasing after Ivan, not really gaining a whole lot of ground on the legendary. Once the two of them finally were in range, Shurinet began shooting his Swift attack once again, hitting Ivan a little more then before this time. While preoccupied with the attack, the Mienfoo didn't have time to look up and nearly was hit by a lightening bolt. Only nearly because of the quick movement from Quinet. Thanks to the push from the younger of the two the bolt hit right in between them, sending Shurinet onto his face. Quinet quickly though shot out an Ice Shard and got the Raikou on the hind leg, getting Ivan with a powerful shot. Shurinet quickly looked back and smiled at the Sneasel, congratulating her on an excellent hit. The two began running after Ivan as he tried to get away from the attacks of the group once more.

Ver - Freya - Erudeca - Alice -- Fang

Fang shielded her eyes from the electricity that scattered around. When she readjusted, Solaris was the first one within view, and the advisors ears stood high before dashing over to the fallen Espeon.
She skid to the Guildleader’s side and set up a Light Screen overhead. Her tail remained high in the air given anything else came there way and she promptly checked his pulse. It was there.
She sighed in relief and sat by the feline’s side on standby, her eyes trailed off towards the fight.

Ver’s eyes widened as the Extrasensory was released and his body halted immediately before backing up. He wasn’t close enough to take the shock, but he was close enough for it to throw his thoughts into distress. The attention he once kept on Atra broke immediately in favor of shaking his head and trotting away aimlessly; his temperature reverting down to normal. It was a weird feeling that made him shudder and take a moment to gather himself.
Ver couldn’t remember that he’d been thinking of prior either, but that wasn’t important to him now.

Freya met with him quickly and Ver came still as they drew close to one another. The Leafeon promptly rested her snout near the Flareon’s ear; a canine-like gesture of concern. Ver sighed after a moment as he looked back at Ivan and Freya stepped away promptly, her eyes following is.
“Where’s Deca?” It sounded more like a statement, ie, “She’s doing something wrong.” “She’s…”
Deca went bounding after Ivan, her psychic intensifying as her muscles tensed; ignoring those around her. Ver’s ears stood. “Cover me.”
And with that, he sprinted ahead of Ivan’s path in a Quick Attack.
Freya jumped. “But-!”
“Cover me!”

Ver halted a good distance ahead of Ivan and Deca hopped over Veritas though her sprint was hardly broken from the obstacle. She finally grasped onto the Legendary’s side with her jaw. Electricity pulsated through her body, making her tail lash out viciously and her tightly closed eyes struggled to twitch. It was ignored for what little time it could be as blades of psychic lashed about—her short notice attempt at trying to sever the relic with Guillotine.
The Espeon dropped to the ground off the large dog, her body tumbling back due to Ivan’s dash. She didn’t get back up as paralysis soon took over, but she was still conscious. Her tail steadily beat at the ground every few seconds in a rather disorganized manner as electricity slowly left her body.

Ver began to step back. His eyes locked on the tripwire feet ahead of him, courtesy of Basilisk before turning up toward Ivan again.
A series of Razor Leaf attacks swarmed the Legendary’s legs as Freya slowly walked about the outer path of Ivan’s raging bound, her eyes slowly traveled about the setup the guildmates quickly created, hoping for the best of it.

Ver’s eyes met Ethfael for a moment before turning back toward Ivan, in hope that all the assaults prior would take quite the toll on the beast.
His temperature skyrocketed again and he reared back on his hind legs before stomping on the ground. A Lava Plume tore up from the ground, towering over the small Fire type as a psychic glow enveloped his eyes. His Calm Mind set in again and his kinesis supported the fire about him in hope of keeping it strong and break up the ground.

By God. He was going to die doing this but everything played out all too well. They couldn’t afford to miss any chances. The Flareon shut his eyes tightly, focusing himself what best he could and prepped for the worst.

Aire -- Javs

Aire’s eyes focused as the Extrasensory was released. Javs’ remained indifferent though they both felt it fan out. Both of them actually turned a bit fearful once the lightning struck down again and took out multiple people. Aire’s grip tightened on her opposite arms in their crossed position. The static filled the air and the situation was overall grim.
“We’re leaving if it carries on this way.” “Mm.”
Javs ignored her comment for the most part in favor of staring at Era on the ground. He owed her a favor anyway.
Javs promptly teleported the small Pikachu into his arms; an indistinctive psychic cloak enveloped the young Gardevoir to protect him from any stray assaults the distorted Electric type might unleash. The static she gave off was bad enough.
He looked down at her as concerned as his expression would allow, though his ears, despite being lowered for a different reason, would be the only clear indication of anything. Aire glanced over at the smaller male for a moment, her own expression lighting up slightly as she looked out again, though preferably at the sky.
“She took that hit directly.”
“She’ll be fine.” His response was quick though quiet, his gaze following out with hers as his psychic passively tapped into Era's mind with little trouble at all; trying to calm and rebuild Era’s mentality. Intrusive, maybe. But he wasn't there to know her thoughts.

((Deca attacked the relic with Guillotine spam. She’s now on the ground useless.
Freya’s off to the side of the setup focusing on Ivan’s legs.
Fang’s watching over Solaris.
Ver’s waiting at the end of the setup.
Era was saved. She's protected until (if) she leaves the barrier.))

.::Stark::.

Suddenly, from up in the air, a curved sickle of air rocketed at the Raikou, striking him squarely on the face. At the same time, there was a cackle as a white blur fell through the air at terminal velocity. The blur struck the ground, raising a cloud of dust, which then settled to reveal a very scarred, psychotically grinning Absol. He barked out a quick laugh.

"Seems like I'm always late to the party. Anyway, who are you?" he asked, looking at the Raikou. When all he got was a crazed roar and lightning in response, he rolled his eyes.

"Great. Another crazy." He looked, and caught a glimpse of something glittering on the Raikou's chest. Upon closer inspection, it appeared to be a pendant. Stark's heart leaped into his throat.

An Elite pendant? How did he--? Nevermind. Kill now, ask later, he thought swiftly, gathering a large amount of psychic force and flinging it at the Raikou's neck, aiming for the string of the pendant.

Solaris

Solaris got back up on his feet and coughed a small cloud of soot away.
It was going to take a while for that fur to grow back out.
But then, suddenly, before he could do anything, another bolt of lightning! It smashed down directly through the Raichu's manufactured light screen and struck the second-in-command square on.
That poor, poor Espeon. He briefly wondered what he did to anger god.
Oh, yeah, right. I'm... yeah. Right.

Ivan, however, had much bigger concerns.
He could sense something. A power, not dissimilar to the one he now bore, but not the same.
Even in his slipping sanity, there was still one thing that rang loud and clear.
Fear.
He knew what the royals could do. He recognized the plate.
The poor Flareon who dared to bare his fangs at him would be killed.
Electricity began to swell inside of the pendant and it's owner's body. The clouds far above gave a deep rumble in response.
The air itself seemed to warp around Ivan as the constant sparks and output heated the air around him.
And he took off in a sprint. The attacks that laid down on him ceaselessly were ignored.
Preventing Judgment was far too important.
But these attacks were not without their mark. His step began to falter, if ever so slightly. As he tore through the lava plume, his fur was singed and all those attacks that would seek to burn or scratch him showed injury.
The strange little Flareon in front of him who did not bear the plate was simply smashed away with one mighty stride.
And in only a few strides more, his claws were primed.
He would kill the Flareon as a man would step on a bug and then he would remove the plate, lest some other royal believe it to be a wise course of action.

He's... Actually starting to wear down!?
Keep at it! If we can keep tiring him out, taking the pendant should be easy...
Right?

Roll another number this round. Your results are to be determined the same as the last round, except one number worse. In the Raikou's sudden burst of anger, the storm has intensified.

ie: If you rolled a 2, consider it a 1, if you rolled a 5, consider it a 4 etc.

Morana && Incultyr && Acer && Veritas

Morana didn't see it coming. Even as she rolled to her feet after avoiding the last bolt a second one came down upon her. The full force of the blow knocked her off her feet, throwing the poor Houndoom several feet back. Her fire typing was all that kept her from being burnt alive, her fireproof fur smouldering from the intense heat of the shock.

Morana was shaking violently on the ground as if held by a seizure, unable to control her muscles.

"Anna!" Incultyr ran faster than he ever had in his life to reach his partner's side, with Acer struggling to keep up. The Larvitar stopped beside Morana, ignoring the sparks as he hugged her protectively, trying to draw as much excess electricity off of her as possible. He could feel her pulse. She was alive. He wondered if her heart would have been able to take the shock if she didn't have Manectric blood flowing through her.

"Oh no." Veritas got to her feet shakily, stunned from her collision with the ground, noticing the scene with her team leaders. Mud covered her fur and the sparks that danced for her soon drained away into the ground. Ivan was nowhere near her now; he seemed intent on another target.

There was little she could do for Morana. Kicking off another Agility Veritas sped after the Raikou, gathering a large orb of energy in her mouth. She fired off the Aura Sphere, but it did little to deter the Raikou from its course.

Atra && Melissa && Katara

The attack came fast. Too fast. Atra barely had time to sever his connection with the plate before suddenly 400 pounds of Legendary was upon him. The Flareon's fur flared hot on reflex, bursting into flames that did nothing to stop a paw digging into his side, claws sinking into flesh. Electricity arced through his body, sending his fur on end even as the claws caught on flesh and bone, jerking him aside.

He was slammed into the muddy ground, unable to understand what was happening as he struggled to take breath. His diaphragm would not listen to his command, would not draw in life-giving air. The claws slid out of his side, allowing blood, fresh red blood, to flow out, hissing as it came in contact with the fire that was quickly dying away.

There was a roar, a roar that demanded his life, and he saw the Raikou above him, ready to end him.

"NO!" There was a sharp crack! and the Raikou's attack glanced off a barrier with enough force to send the Legendary reeling back. A small yellow form was hovering protectively above the Flareon, her eyes scanning the field in horror. Both arms, trailing white sleeves, were raised above her to maintain the Protect.

User Image

"Why are you doing this?" She cried, closing her eyes and shaking her head. "Please stop fighting, please..." The Jirachi floated gently down until she was on the ground next to Atra, tears streaming down her face.

"I don't understand...why...so much hate...so much suffering...pain...this shouldn't be...it's not right..." The Jirachi sobbed uncontrollably over the Flareon's convulsing body, seemingly unaware of the battle raging just outside the small protective bubble she had made.

Melissa was sprinting her way towards the Jirachi. She saw what happened. Her heart seized with the thought that Atra might be dead. It never occurred to her it might happen. He was always so strong, so sure of himself. He had the power of Arceus itself. She barely gave a passing glance at the Raikou though she kept enough wits about her to raise a Light Screen above her in case any lightning came her way.

"Hope! Get him somewhere safe!" She practically screamed at the small protective barrier.

The small sobbing legendary didn't seem to hear her but in a crack! she was gone.

She reappeared halfway across the field though, this time beside Morana.

"No, no...Anna...no more...NO MORE." Tears streaming down her face, the Jirachi closed her eyes tightly, balling her little fists together as bright light enveloped her body, and she screamed in helpless rage. Her body dimmed down a moment later, and she seemed horrified with herself. Incultyr and Acer did not know what was going on, but the Larvitar grabbed the Jirachi as she moaned incoherently to herself.

"Take Anna somewhere safe. NOW. Do you understand?"

The Jirachi leaned down, holding each of Morana and Atra's paws in her own. She glowed once more, her light flowing down her arms like water to the two canines. It enveloped Morana gently, her fur absorbing the light until her breathing eased. Atra's body seemed to suck it in hungrily, the light fading the moment it touched his fur.

"Leave!" Incultyr urged Hope, seeing the small Legendary losing strength. Her arms sagged and she looked close on the point of collapse before crack!, she disappeared.

Several seconds later an intense ball of light would envelope the Raikou, exploding with great force.

Era & Ethfael

Era was really in no right state of mind even though she'd been rescued. Having taken a Raikou's Extrasensory at close quarters such as that it was enough of a miracle that she was still functioning. Pikachu didn't have mental barriers like Psychics, so it had met her defenseless mind and torn it apart. Now she drifted, unaware of what was going on around her, unaware of being saved by Javs or anything else. Ignorance wasn't always bliss though, especially forced ignorance such as this. The Pikachu's body went through frequent spasms as she lay in the Gardevoir's arms, mostly from the over excess of electricity that had little way to escape her. Her cheeks still sparked furiously trying to dispel the energy from her and her conscious mind, or what remained of it, couldn't do much to stop it. She began to blearily piece a few thoughts together as Javs carefully mended her mind, but the only thing her mind would respond to was the pain and finally she couldn't take it at all. Era's breathing shallowed slightly and she fell to unconsciousness, her body still wracked with electric shocks that ran through her wings down to her feet.

Ethfael's gaze continued to follow the course of event that happened, trying to take in everything as he moved slowly but surely down toward the opposite end of the path that the Raikou had taken. There he'd have the shot he wanted to do his own part in this. He watched Atra fall before he could attack, eyes widening in astonishment at seeing the Flareon go down. Atra? Injured like that? It hardly made sense in his mind to see that. The Jirachi's appearance drew him to a halt, as the Dragonair had been about to send his own attack down the way. His heart went out to Hope although his hatred was overpowering, but at the same time he was worried for the little Pokemon's safety. When he saw the Doom Desire attack beginning to form around Ivan he saw his own chance; there was no one in his path, so it was now or never. It didn't hurt to make certain a Legendary was down after all. Opening his maw wide, Ethfael released a bolt of sheer power that raced down the path and toward the Doom Desire surrounded Raikou. The Hyper Beam was Ethfael's last resort, his hope that he would avenge Era before he was finished here. The Dragonair's figure sagged with the exertion and he waited and watched. Hoping, praying it was over.

Tris & Maestro

Tris was having really bad luck with the electrical shock he'd just experienced. Seeing as the Ground part of his Wooper form had taken the paralysis, the Water part got to double all the pain. Just when he'd thought it was over, an after shock ran through him, forcing him to endure it again. "Arceus, why?" the Ditto said through gritted teeth, forcing himself to get up again. He looked across at the others and watched the number of Pokemon appearing to be prepping powerful attacks. The Raikou seemed most concerned with a certain Flareon, ignoring all else as he raced toward the one who held a strange plate, forcing the black and white one out of the way. However, it didn't slip Tris' attention that the Legendary's steps faltered, and that gave him the motivation to jump back into the fight. He sent a Mud Bomb flying forward at the Raikou, and felt some satisfaction when it hit even though it didn't really affect Ivan at all. Little did he know what he was about to see unfold before him.

Maestro was quite curious to see what everyone, but specifically that Flareon, was planning. Clearly it had the Raikou concerned, whatever it might be, so he hovered slightly closer to try and get a look. The Fire Type held a curious plate beneath his paws, which seemed to have stirred some fear in the Legendary. How powerful must it be to have the ability to frighten a Legend? With a smile about his lips, he watched from the side as before, staying far out of the range of whatever might happen next, but about as eager as a child presented with candy to see what would happen. The Zorua was not disappointed; watching with unprecedented glee as a Jirachi appeared and caused quite the stir, departing as fast as she had come with a parting Doom Desire. He chuckled with pleasure. It was delightful to watch, better than any story he'd read.

((Probably unnecessary but -Whatever you like for Ethfael's Hyper Beam, hope that's alright))

Ver - Freya - Erudeca - Alice -- Fang

Fang merely watched the lightning strike through her Light Screen and hit the Espeon once again.
Wow. It went through that and it ignored her entirely. God really did hate him. The Raichu sighed. "Well, as long as you don’t die.” Her attention turned back toward the battle then and her ears lowered. “But… They’re going to need help, Pinky.” And well. Shortly after that, everything went chaotic.

Ver began to panic behind the towering fire he summoned. The footsteps of the Raikou tearing toward him grew louder; faster then, out of nowhere, Ivan was before him.

He was going to die.

Ver’s expression turned grave and time felt as if it had stopped. “At-!” He was cut off from alerting the larger Flareon as he was suddenly trampled and thrown aside from the Legendary’s path. He rolled about on the ground, shrilling out in pain as he made aimless jerks due to the sudden surge of electricity running through his body. He painstakingly pawed at his right eye that had a severe gash across it, taking up most of the right side of his face. It could have been avoided, maybe, but he instinctively flinched away from the beast. Ivan towered over the black and white Flareon. His paws alone were the size of his own head—if not larger.
He couldn’t stop the bleeding, he couldn’t see through his right eye but he wasn’t even sure if it was open. Ver spit out the blood that steadily flowed down into his mouth. He was growing dizzy now and everything seemed darker through his left eye. The paralyzed Flareon lie silent and useless in his injured state. He heard Hope after a moment, though the voice was that of a stranger. A stranger that wasn’t here prior and now he slowly began to fade out…
Oh well. It was worth a try.

Freya was torn, skidding to a halt as the setup was torn down in an instant. Suddenly Ver was on the ground, Deca was as well a good distance behind him and Atra was pinned. What did she do? Her head snapped about, suddenly catching sight of the strike that hit Anna. The Leafeon trembled. She was completely lost.
“W-What…” Her voice was broken and quiet. She just stood there now, staring. She didn’t know how else to respond.
Alice wasn’t much different. The Ralts stood there wide eyed in fear as everything that was felt suddenly fell apart.
Were they going to lose?
She clasped her hands together, thinking as her eyes covered the field in panic. Eventually, she teleported by Melissa’s side shortly after Hope’s leave, her eyes continuing to look about elsewhere as she spoke. “Melissa, who should I take to the hospital…?” It was mid battle, but they couldn’t leave a number of members out here. It was doubtful they’d last.

Aire -- Javs

Aire grew uneasy. She took a full step away from Javs and Era as the Pikachu gave off random sparks that didn’t seem to bother the male in the slightest. He wasn’t even really there anymore; his attention entirely on Era, who she assumed he was mentally rebuilding. Her eyes remained focused on the fight and soon, wouldn't you know it, another Legendary appeared.
Lovely.
She frowned. Her attention slowly drifted elsewhere along the fight as most of the group just seemed to collapse. It seemed like a lost cause entirely.
Aire looked back over at her Gardevoir companion then. At least now he might back off.

Solaris

The Espeon stumbled back to his feet and shook off a cloud of black dust.
It was going to take his fur entirely too long to grow back after that.
Maybe being so damn big was coming in handy for once, because as painful as it was he still had some control.
And what he saw was, indeed, something quite good.
A legendary's power was not something to be trifled with, even that of a young Jirachi.
The glancing blow with the barrier shook his balance. The Hyper Beam nearly set him on his side.
The clouds let off one final, deep rumble before ceasing entirely. There wouldn't be any more lightning or rain.
The Espeon took a few uneven steps forward before nearly collapsing in the mud. He would have to rely on his guild.
"Everyone, try to snatch the necklace!"
If the clouds meant anything, he wouldn't be able to stop them.

Those rolls you made last round? Totally pointless, the lightning has stopped. The clouds have begun to part, the rain has ceased and the sun is peaking out.

And, oh yeah, Ivan's looking pretty bad off. He's still a Raikou so it's not like he's out of juice, but he should be weak enough now that you can pull it off of him without dying.

Singel Uluat Shurinet Quinet

❖✺❖✺❖✺❖✺❖✺❖✺

Uluat continued chasing down Raikou, trying to avoid the immense increase in the thunder storm around him. Lightening ripped the clouds and sky around him like a Scyther slicing through a tree. Eventually it got to the point where Uluat couldn't focus on Raikou, but needed to focus on the lightening around him. Sadly, even he couldn't predict where it would strike. While making a sharp turn to his right to avoid one bolt, a second came crashing down on his back, to which he immediately fell from the sky and rolled under a rock, the same boulder Singel had been hiding under to avoid the rain. The captain quickly pulled his friend inside, away from any further harm.

Further away, Shurinet and Quinet were dodging their fair share of lightening strikes as well. Because they had been chasing Ivan this whole time, they got themselves stuck in the middle of the storm he was making. Even for these two, lightening struck them both down, eventually hitting Shurinet in his tail and Quinet on her claw. The two collapsed from the pain and shock, and Singel could only watch as his team was being cut down. Not by the enemy, but from the elements around them.

Suddenly, the storm stopped and now all that stopped Singel were his own two feet. He quickly set Uluat down and ran for the two younger Pokemon, both suffering from the bolts that hit them right before the clouds parted. With sunlight now on his face he looked at the Raikou with an inferno raging in his heart. This whole fight, he had been hiding to save his own flame, now he was going to use it to best the legendary before him.

He charged at Ivan, putting all his focus in his feet, trying to run as fast as he could to catch up with it. Now was the only chance he could think of to regain the honor he lost for being such a coward before. Once he was near the Raikou, he looked at the creature.

He was tired, Singel could tell. After running around for so long and raising so much hell he should be. Singel quickly looked at his hand and then to Ivan. "Whatever that pendant around your neck is, I intend to knock that thing into next week!" He said as he quickly balled up his fist. He breathed some Icy Wind on the fist, encasing it in a thick ice coating. The Charmander winced at the pain of being frozen, but knew this was his best shot.

He quickly charged at the Raikou, praying that it wouldn't jump out of the way of his hit, and threw a strong Focus Punch with the frozen fist. The logic Singel used was that the ice coating would prevent him from being electrocuted from touching Ivan. Sadly his idea would have to wait as Ivan quickly jumped away from the punch and forced Singel to regain his balance from the quick change in weight distribution from the ice glove he had on.

Singel turned and sneered at the Raikou. "I'm sick of you running! Stand still damn you!" He yelled as he continued chasing down the legendary, hoping to eventually get an impact on the pendant.

(Shurinet, Uluat, and Quinet will also be out next round. Posted this simultaneously with yours Cys, my bad.)

Melissa && Katara

Melissa started as the Ralts appeared by her side, being understandably a bit jumpy. Her eyes scanned the battlefield at the Ralt's words.

"Your teammate, the Flareon...you should get him out." She said, remembering the black and white eeveelution being knocked aside by the Raikou. Katara was nowhere to be seen, though Melissa knew that she had been hurt earlier. Hopefully she was somewhere safe.

Incultyr && Acer && Veritas

Veritas sped across the battlefield, a mere blur of dark blue and silver. Her paws slipped on the mud but she kept her balance as the sky above cleared, the clouds dispersing unnaturally fast.

The Jolteon neared the legendary, her mouth open as blue aura gathered once more. She shot it out before her, a small ball of force that slammed into the Raikou's side faster than the eye could follow. She sped past a black Charmander, slamming herself in a full tackle against Ivan after her Aura Sphere, hoping the combined attacks would stagger the Legendary.

She felt the Raikou give in a small step, and she gritted her teeth as more electricity flowed in through to her from him. Not nearly as much as before, but she had a much bigger surface area of impact this time. It's not like it hurt, in fact it felt great, but the sudden rush was always a distraction.

Her claws sharpened and strengthened with a Metal Claw, and she rolled under the Raikou as he swiped a paw in retaliation against her**. On her back under the Legendary she could see the Relic clearly. Her left paw darted out, claws hooking the chain as her momentum brought her through the rest of her roll. The weight of of it tugged on the chain; Veritas felt resistance as she came down on the other side of her roll but then -snap!- it was gone and she came up quickly to her feet, darting away from the Legendary.

She found herself grinning widely. A dull feeling of euphoria washed over her, like the ones accompanying the great surges of electricity that came from the Raikou to her but...stronger. She trembled as her gaze dropped down to her paw, to the chain that wrapped around it, and the beautiful symbol of the Electric Type sitting above the mud, free of the dirt. Everything else but the pendant seemed to disappear from the world. She held her paw up, taking the pendant up with it as she stared into its depths. It seemed to...shine, glow...call out to her heart.

Someone called her name but she barely noticed it. The pendant was singing to her, and she knew she had to put it on. It promised wonderful warmth, unlimited power. Another surge of euphoria washed over her, this time almost overwhelmingly strong, and she knew that its source was from this wonderful relic. She sat down on her back legs without though so that she could hold the pendant in both paws, wondering vaguely how she could wear it now that she had broken the chain-

Something pulled at the chain dangling from her claws and she snarled, claws digging into the chain to prevent the relic from being tugged away. A Dragon Pulse gathered at the back of her throat to destroy whoever was trying to-

"VERITAS!"

A sharp pain at the side of her head, and then darkness.

---

Incultyr clutched the Pendant tightly, but held it out at the end of his arm as if afraid of being too near it. He stared at the unconscious Jolteon, a guilty look on his face. He hadn't meant to punch her so hard, but he had panicked. She had tried to put on the pendant, and she had looked ready to attack him. They had lost too many that day. They couldn't afford to fight another with the pendant.

He couldn't lose another team member.

Incultyr kept the pendant dangling at the end of his arm as he marched straight up to Solaris. The Espeon didn't look too good, but he'd live. Incultyr dropped the pendant in the mud before the guildmaster, wanting nothing more to do with it.

((**So, since we're seeing which post gets the pendant...if you want your character to grab the pendant just assume Vera got smacked aside at this point))
