Well an amusing though just occured. ((Though only I will find it so))

If he did build something large enough to house so many animals, and took 400 years of manual labour to build it....

He'd have to pretty much deforest the entire planet for the raw materials.

Entire rainforests cut down, just to supply the necessary lumber.

More seriously though, a structure that large couldn't concievably be built of wood. It's too weak as a material.

noah lived be be 600 years old?! are you serious? who wrote that? i'd like to read it. i can't understand how someone could live to be so old during a time when (i'm assuming) people didn't have any knowledge of the sorts of illnesses in the world and how they were caused. was noah endowed with a long life by god?

*faints* for those who believe that god controls our fates and therefore, how long we live, why would god make it so that we would live shorter lives? are there more evils in the world that we must be punished for? i don't get it. i guess there's no logical reason for why people who lived during biblical times had such long lifespans. whee

Noah's Ark is physically impossible, so either the Bible is wrong or modern science is wrong.

But we're all using computers, built with science. So how wrong can science be?
