A, B, C, D, Elmo-P!! ( Homeschool Lesson ) Copeka was... well, confused, for sure. They -that is, Lirona, Copeka, and Demetre- had all moved recently, into a very large house. A very large house. A two-story thing that fell just short of qualifying as a mansion. He had his own room, and so did Demetre, but generally, both of them stayed in a third room that was also theirs - their play room, that is. It was... practically a mess, even when it was all cleaned up. And, unlike their 'play' room before, one shared with an unborn infant, they didn't even have a playpen, just a childproof fence at the door.
"Papaaa!!" Copeka called out unhappily, leaning over the gate as far as he could despite his diminutive stature, a wonderful trait he inherited from his dad. His little wings fluttered gently, nub of a tail flicking around behind him.
"One moment, Copekaaa~" Aludra called back, chuckling softly as he brought in the last of quite a few bags of different educational toys, followed closely by Damien, who got to pick up the rest of them. "Thank you for helping me with this, Damien. I, uh... well, I guess that we can help each other be good parents, right?" he asked awkwardly with a soft smile down to the little duckling that clung to Damien's pantleg.
"Eh. it's not a problem," replied Damien with a lopsided grin. "To be honest, I'm glad for your help. I'm so lost when it comes to this parent thing..." A small frown creased across his face, but he was sure to shake it away before he looked down at his son. "C'mon, Dayo, let's go play with Uncle Aludra and Copeka."
After setting the toys down in the playpen area, Damien reached down and plucked Dayo up, placing him next to Copeka and nudging him with a gentle hand. "Say hi, sweetheart. Hi, Copeka ~" He mimicked waving to the cute purple boy, smiling at his own son.
Aludra chuckled a bit, stepping over the gate and unpacking the toys he'd gotten, flicking his eyes about the room. Huh... They might need to stop buying things soon... maybe. It wasn't long before his little ankle-biter was at his feet and the man chuckled softly, picking up his little one and spinning the boy around to the sound of joyful giggles. Dayo stared up at the two of them before stretching his arms up to Damien and wiggling his fingers, a slight pout on his face. "Upsie, Mama!"
It was when both were in their father's arms and there was less moving going on that Copeka waved to Dayo and the little duckling waved back, flapping his larger, yellow wings. Copeka made a small 'oof' noise when Aludra took a seat around the many different toys, his red-rimmed eyes widening at the sheer amount of toys. "Are these aww mine...?"
Damien happily picked his son up when requested and spun him as well, the duckling's joy making the frequently-frustrated boy smile. He was pleased that his son waved politely to Copeka so well, and ruffled his hair to show him so. Following Aludra's lead, he sat down with Dayo gently, laughing at Copeka's question and shaking his head.
"No, Copeka, they're not all for you. You and Dayo are going to play together today with these toys, so be sure to share both of you." He tapped his chin with his finger before selecting a puzzle with basic numbers in the pieces and bringing it forward. "What about this?"
A soft pout came to Copeka's lips at the fact that, no, these toys weren't all his. Though, he guessed it was okay, since Papa said that Damien didn't have lots of money like they did. 'Course, that meant that Dayo got almost no toys, which was so crazy that he couldn't even wrap his little mind around it.
"Good a choice as any," Aludra agreed, letting Damien unwrap it with the help of those killer claws of his before taking it and dumping the pieces, flipping each of them over and setting the board down. "Now, do you know how to count, Dayo?"
The little boy gazed in confusion with those big blue eyes of him before shaking his head gently. "Nuh-uh."
"Alright, well, Copeka knows how to get to ten at least, so he can help you to there, alright?" Aludra offered, causing Copeka to blush a bit, smiling at Dayo and nodding. He crawled from his father's lap and lifted up the '1' piece, showing it to his friend. "One comes fiwst."
Damien gently stroked Dayo's hair as he focused upon the puzzle pieces, rewarding Copeka's intelligence with a smile and a nod. "Yup, first is number one." He held up one clawed finger in front of Dayo's eyes, then held up another. "And then next comes one and one together, making... Do you know?" The question was open to both kids, although he did want Dayo to try and answer.
Dayo's eyes flicked between his Mama and his friend, flapping his little wings nervously. He held up one finger on each hand, pressing them both together and smiling brightly, wiggling a little and holding up two fingers on one hand and showing them to his Mama. "Two!!
"But... I dun'no what that one looks like..." he said meekly, looking toward Copeka. The little splotchy-skinned demon thought a moment before stretching his hand out to the '2' puzzle piece, showing Dayo with a sweet little smile.
"This one's a two," he said with a firm nod of his head and a gentle twitch of his little tail. He looked over the puzzle piece for a second though before putting it in the puzzle and pointing to the letters 't-w-o'. "What's this mean?"
Damien smiled and kissed his son's head at the correct answer, tapping his two upright fingers. "That's right, you two, that's two." He paused, wrangling with that awkward phrasing, then continued. "And that's another way to write two. Those are the letters that spell the word, like how letters spell Dayo or Copeka. T-w-o spells two." As the preteen instructed, he glanced nervously up towards Aludra, dependent on the older spawn for approval or critique. Never mind that Aludra was practically as new a father as he was; he was older, so he should just... know this stuff.

It would be on a Saturday that you open your mail box (if you have one) and notice there is a rather thick envelope stuffed in there. There is no postage stamp and a very vague return address. But you recognize the font and the company's name. 'Seven of Seven Inc' scrawled in majestic font across the upper left hand corner. As you open it, you may strangely find yourself drawn to the letter, there is a mass of notes inside. They read as follows:
Letter Congratulations! You have managed to succeed in raising your child. (IE: Not killing him or her or getting killed yourself. Haha we kid of course.) We would like an update from you on the following: Guardians Name: Child's Name: Sin: Virtue: Gender: Current Attitude: Likes: Dislikes: Any abnormal growths: (if any, example: Feathers molting, horns growing larger, scars ) Current hair style: Current clothing preferences: Dominant celestial trait: (The sin or virtue) Please summarize in your own words how difficult or easy it was taking care of your child. Did you manage to care for them in a kindly fashion? Or were you forced to discipline them? As well do not be alarmed if you suddenly find your child achieving a massive growth spurt in the next little while. We are finding that the children from our facility have strange growing patterns and are rather unpredictable. Although please let us know if anything unexpected occurs. Sincerely the technicians from Seven of Seven Inc. Ps. Please just leave your letter back in your mail box one you have completed it our courier will pick it up. Thank you.
You would notice the letter seems overly friendly...strange since the scientist were so ...cold before.
(Just take the from Guardians name to Dominant Celestial trait and pm it to the mule, the summarization doesn't have to be long just have fun with it.)
