Aludra, for the day, was out with his family. Well, perhaps not his entire family -his fiancee was missing on work- but himself and his two children. Then again, how he managed to end up with a well-sized, close-knit family so fast... he really wasn't sure. One moment, he's a messed up little teenager, the next, he's engaged with an adopted daughter and a biological toddler of a son. Gently, he bounced the little girl in his arms - a little thing that, for once, was actually awake, hugging on a little ragdoll that she'd gotten earlier that day.
"Paaapa?" came that distinct call from his little splotchy-skinned son and a soft chuckle fell past his lips. The little boy tugged on his scaled fingertips and he followed to the window full of fancily decorated sweets. Copeka pressed a finger to it, sniffling a bit in the mildly chill air, looking back with his beautiful golden eyes. Lirona's beautiful eyes... "C'n we get some choc'lates, mebbe?"
"Of course," Aludra said, smiling easily, gently squeezing his son's small hand. After all, Aludra was back in his father's ( Noah's, not Silas'; Noah was much more forgiving, especially since Aludra was his own son ) good graces, and therefore had Daddy's magic credit card sitting in his back pocket. With a shoulder, he nudged the door open and stepped in, kissing his daughter's pale-skinned forehead. "Want some chocolate as well, Demetre?"

The pride spawn gave a heavy sigh as he browsed the wares of the store. It wasn't that he wasn't impressed. It was that he really wasn't sure what kinds of these fancy flavors anyone in his family would like. He had a decent idea for Ebony, but the twins were another matter, seeing as he was pretty sure that they've only had the kind of chocolate that comes in bags from the grocery store. Still, Bovi was determined to find something here, even if it was plain for the kids. It was sort of an unspoken rule that if you get anything, make sure to buy decoys for the greed twins, just in case.
"Bacon chocolate? Really?" he mused to himself as he looked at the said confection. It looked pretty, just like everything else in the store, but there was bacon somewhere on the inside. He pondered if Ebony would even try a piece before waving it off as a bit odd and moving on. The bell on the door gave a dingle, meaning someone was coming inside, and even though that was more for the employees of the store, it gave Bovi a good reason to peek up and see who it was.
As he looked at the young man, the spawn pondered. He knew that person, he was sure of it, but his name was eluding him for some odd reason.

"Are dere cuppycakes...?" the sleepy little brunette asked in reply, tipping her head to the side gently. Aludra chuckled softly, giving the small one a kiss on the forehead and shaking his head a bit.
"I don't think so, Demy. But if there are, you can certainly get one, alright?" he offered, smiling sweetly to his tiny bundle of a daughter. With a bright smile, she nodded, glancing into the store. However, it was almost immediate that the little girl buried her face against his chest and Copeka latched onto one of his pantlegs, hiding behind it meekly. Blinking in a mixture of confusion and surprise, he looked around the store, eyes settling on the purple-haired male perusing the chocolates. Wait, wasn't that...?
Immediately, Aludra's own face lit up like a wildfire. That was Bovi. Bovi, like, the one that he'd last seen in a movie theatre, back behind that unfortunate fog that had been forced upon him a few months earlier. Jeez, it had been... a long, long time. The only thing that still tied the face to a name was that Bovidae was the only other male that he knew who had a feminine hair colour - especially since the only other one he'd known had ended up a girl anyway. But... how long had it been? A few years, at least, wasn't it? He'd still been... right! That was when Bovi'd hit himself in the forehead with a yoyo!
...that was a long time ago.
Chuckling to himself just a bit, he approached the other male, smiling faintly and giving a bit of a wave with his mostly-free hand. "H-hi there." he frowned at his own voice, clearing his throat gently. "You're... Bovidae, right?"
