After Ari and Miroshi get food they go and sit at a table Miroshi had already picked, far back in the corner in a booth where both Ari and he could both watch what happened in the entire hall. Through bites of food Miroshi mouths out "So.. what do you think of there... food? I'm finding it rather hard to stop eating.. I haven't eaten anything since 2 days ago. My fault though. What about you, how does your food taste?"

Arianna took a minute then replied "it's alright." She seemed to be thinking just then alarms went off and the Captain came over the comm "This is the bridge; All hands to battle stations. Mech pilots to your units. Also would Cadets Arianna Manomi and Miroshi Hatake please report to the command deck." klaxons sound as red alert status is engaged. Arianna was sitting next to one and the loudness of the warning alarm almost temporarily deafened her. "... Loud...! And what does the bridge want with us?" Students start heading off to stations leaving uneaten plates of food and whatnot. Crew members are also rushing around and an explosion sound is heard.

Miroshi looked at Ari noting her distance for the loud alarm. While talking louder, Miroshi starts speaking to Ari, "Well we need head up to the bridge and try to find away out of these loud alarms." Looking around he sees an elevator up with a description on what floors it goes to. "I say we had to that elevator and see where it takes us, I'm betting though it should lead to the bridge at one point or another, and they can't have these loud alarms in it". Miroshi chuckles while grabbing an apple and a banana to go.

Arianna and Miroshi head to one of the lifts and get in "Bridge" Arianna replies after a beep is heard. It starts to ascend. There is then silence on the lift.

"Well now it is most defiantly a lot quitter in here than out there. I'm just glad no one else saw this elevator. However I have an ominous feeling it might have been just for the officers. -Shrugs- I'll take the blame for it and say I 'pushed' you in here." He chuckles and looks over at Ari.

"If it were for officers only there would be an access code restriction on it. You didn't read the manual on Ship Orientation did you? Security officers are on the bridge 24 hours a day and everything that's only usable by certain crew is locked... um..." She looks at him for a moment like she wants to ask something then she does not reply. Moments later the lift starts to slow down.

Miroshi scratches the back of his head and smiles. "Actually I didn't. However we're coming to the top, I wonder what is in store for us. I really hope I don't get demoted." He chuckles at his comment, then looks back at Ari, "What do you think we're going up here for?"

Arianna sighs then says "I have no idea..." She seems annoyed about something now just then the lift stops and the door opens. Arianna exits with Miroshi. "Welcome Cadets; I've heard about you from Mr. Dackson our helmsmen... apparently you both fought off four enemy units on your own. With that said; we are being attacked by what we believe to be the same people that attacked your academy. Seeing as you are the only two people here with documented combat experience against these foes I would like to put you in charge of the combat operation." Arianna looks at the captain "But we-" He puts his hand up to stop her then replies "What training you have is irrelevant to me; you both have more combat experience then 75 percent of the personnel on this ship... as it stands we are short handed with experienced people therefore I am ordering to take charge; your classmates lives are in your hands." Arianna has this pained look on her face and the Captain turns back to the bridge staff then says "Now man your stations." The two offices sitting in from of the Mech Commander seats (basically consoles with screens connected to give a video feed from each mech in the team along with a radar console and a mapping screen of the TOO (Theater of operations)) One of the other mech commanders gets up and comes over to them "I am Kitrage; Senior mission operations officer... it is easier than it seems; imagine this being a huge chess game just the peaces are bigger and you have a direct feed to your chess peace meaning you dont have to wait a turn to move." Arianna looks horrified that hes comparing this to a chess game.

Miroshi looks intently at the screens, and thinks, "Just a giant sized game of chess huh? This is more than chess we have the pilots lives, and yet this entire ships lives at stake, there is no move and wait a turn like he said. Its Strategize, attack, react, and attack again." Miroshi looks at Kitrage, "Sir I'll do my best but I've never done this sort of thing, at the closest I've only monitored off the comm. telling my team where to locate. These are people we don't know, and I expect are not going to want to listen, I will need your authority on my side." "However, -smiling- Chess is my favorite board game." Miroshi looks at Ari and see's the fear in her eyes, and understands why its there. "It’ll be ok kido, just think for a bit then mix it with instinct." Miroshi pats her shoulder and goes to sit down on the left side.

Arianna takes her seat and puts on the headset. "Alright; hello folks."
"All hands we are moving to combat readiness." The captain replies.
The weapons control officer then replies "Sir enemy vessels inbound. They are deploying ground units." The person at the Command Station replies "All commanders status." "Control team ready and clear." The lead mechanic announces. Arianna asks over the comm "Status." Falcon replies "All good commander." Killer replies "A'okay here." Obsolete replies "What the hell... you .. your a controller...-" "How about you shut up and give me your status." "Whatever." Arianna sighs "Team 1 is clear." She replies to the officer.

Miroshi picks up the headset, puts in the ear piece, and starts talking over the comm. "Ok guys how're we feeling? My names Casper and I'll be your pilot this afternoon." "YOU DID NOT JUST CALL ME A GUY DID YOU SERIOUSLY!!? I AM UNIT WOLF MY NAMES RYOU KANOU YOU GOT THAT!!" Miroshi starts to chuckle, "Well my apologies ma'am, however I still need my status check if you don't mind." "Wolf to Casper, weapons and power check, ready for battle." "Casper to Wolf, Understood." "Fox to Casper, I'm cocked locked and ready to rock." "Casper to Fox, I here you loud and clear." "Mantis to Casper, system check is all clear, green all the way down. Awaiting your orders." "Casper to Mantis, Aye-aye Mantis."
Miroshi looks at the screen, "Alright does anyone have a visual of the bogeys?" "This is Wolf the first one I see is at 1500 meters and closing" "Can you take him out Wolf?" "Negative Casper, target is to unstable for a clear shot." "Fox I want your squad in a triangle formation, you and Wolf face the bow and Mantis face's the stern." "Understood Casper, in positions now." "Wolf what is the targets range now?" "Target is in range closing fast." "Fox light him up, Wolf do your best to get a few shots in before he gets to close." They simultaneously say "Understood" and the shooting begins.

"ETA to hyperspace jump point 5 minutes" The helmsmen announces then the captain adds "Well people; I hope you can give us five minutes."
Arianna orders Falcon and killer to guard the ship's gun emplacements. Obsolete begins firing at the enemy ships. He is missing Arianna replies "You do realize your not hitting them don't you; move 20 meters to the right you've-" "I don't need your help." He disables voice communications.
Killer laughs noticing Obsolete is missing off on his own "Commander is he givin' you trouble; he does that to everybody... what me to get his a** in gear for ya" "Anything is better then a dead idiot." "Alrighty..." Killer starts firing at Obsolete. The enemy units are confused. "Falcon move north 35 degrees." "On it." Killer nears Obsolete and acts like hes going to blow him away then activates unit to unit comm "I know you can hear me; now hows about you give the nice commander your attention or would you rather end up in a body bag." Obsolete laughs "Shes not a commander; shes worthless..." "Now isn't that so egotistical of you... it does not matter to command what you think... she is in a position of authority because she is better then you whether you like it or not; so as I see it you have two choices follow instructions or die." Arianna finally manages to screw with the communications console enough to be able to overwrite his local settings "Alright; turn you ******** b*****d." Arianna replies to Obsolete he turns and sees a ship directly in his line of fire. He starts firing and hits its bridge causing a hole in the window decompressing it. The enemy ship is now adrift in space. Killer laughs "See... now how would you have known that unless you were using your external camera; command is useful for something now follow her instructions and you might just live long enough to get home."
"Jump in sixty seconds. All commanders pull your units back to the ship." Just then enemy mechs had touched down. Even though their ship was gone they seemed still wanting to fight. Falcon destroyed one on touchdown. 4 remain. They all start attacking the ship's maintenance access airlock; it appears they want to get inside. Obsolete fires at one to get its attention and Arianna gives him a path relentlessly he follows it and it leads into the line of one of the ships autoguns; the autogun destroys the mech. 3 remain. One's grav systems fail and it flies into space. 2 remain.

"Casper to Fox, to your right there should be a heavy armored mech, is coming in hot, can you take him?" "This is Fox he's to close, and getting closer for any accuracy, I'll shoot to cover for Mantis." "Casper to Mantis, did you catch what Fox has planned?" "Loud and clear Casper"
Fox is shooting at the Mech, she lands a few hits, it starts to slow. She keeps firing and misses; the mech starts to speed up using the afterburner. Mantis vanishes from sight and radar. Miroshi looks at the radar thinking to himself "He's activated stealth mode..The mech must be in his --" Miroshi gets cut off as Mantis appears to the left of the mech, instantly punching a whole through its cockpit, then jumping back to avoid any explosion. "Mantis to Casper one down." "Understood, Wolf 45 degrees to your left is another one, can you see it?" "Wolf to Casper yes, I see him bright and shiny." "Fox to Casper, this one's mine, he's in range, permission to fire?" "Wolf back up Fox, permission granted" A volley of shots from Fox tears through the mechs armor like a heated throwing knife through a brick of butter, as Wolf's single shot tails behind them. Both mechs are down.

"Station one confirms all clear." Arianna replies to the command station "Good order your units to return now." The helmsmen then replies "Jump in 20... " "Everyone return." Kitrage announces over the comm to all units. They arrives in the hatch just as it closes running as fast as their mechs can. "All units accounted for." The lead mechanic announces. "Mr. Dackson you are cleared to jump... Good work out there people." The Captain replies.
The dropship soon enters the hyperspace gate and appears at the other end of the outer rim territories. "Alright *the captain turns to Arianna and Miroshi* Good job; I would assume both of you were at the top of your class... consider yourselves part of the elite. You both are dismissed... we should be arriving at the Academy shortly." Arianna took off the headset and got up she turned to Miroshi waiting for him.

With the battle over, and all the mecha in the armory. Miroshi sets down his headset, and takes a deep breath. "Thanks commander for the compliment, however, after the real taste of what it’s like here, I'd rather be out fighting. This whole control thing from up here in the tower isn't my thing. Knowing that my mistake in vocal commands from here without watching that individuals back and they die, it makes me feel helpless. So from now on, I would rather be out in the field. However I'm rather stressed, so I'm going to go lay in my room." Miroshi stands up and looks at Ari, "Um we weren't issued rooms yet were we?" Miroshi scratches the back of his head and starts to chuckle.
