I'm a big fan of the Guilty Gear series (XX being the favorite). That's the only fighting game that I've ever gotten into big time between my friends and I. We went weeks and weeks a long time ago, just playing Guilty Gear XX Reload. Had the best fights I ever had during those times. My friend Simon and I would go back and forth and fight to the point where both of our lifebars were slivers and the next hit would decide the battle. I don't think I've ever been as good as I was back then; I'd need to get into another funk like that.

Naturally, since I love those games so much, I jumping into the BlazBlue series, and I'm liking it pretty well. I haven't gotten into it much, but I just haven't been feeling fighting games recently (even though I bought the second Blazblue without ever having finished the first).

I've played capcom classics like Street Fighter and Marvel Vs Capcom, but I'm pretty terrible at them. With MvC2 I've always gotten my a** beaten by Simon...I can catch up with him on GG, but I dunno what it is about Capcom fighters. The controls are just so damn confusing. I am looking forward to MvC3, though! I like the sound of the simplistic control system they've made up. I want to have fun more than frustrate myself with not being able to perform moves.

Otherwise, I'm big on the DBZ Tenkaichi series; mostly the second game. Third one seemed to add some irritating controls, and I had the second one down to a science. I need to sit down and really give Tenkaichi 3 a chance, though. I also bought Raging Blast on a sale awhile back, but I never got around to it yet.

Finally, another one that is a favorite (and one that me and Simon really got good at) is Gundam Battle Assault 2. The moves are simple, so you can focus more on control and being where you want to be when you want to be there (since some suits have more boost than others). It's amazing how quickly you can get blasted if you don't know what you're doing, 'cause if you DO, the battles last a good amount of time! Once again, it was another game where me and Simon could really get down to the wire.

I love playing fighting games. s**t can be overly addicting. The thrill of knocking another opponent out whether you K.O ed them of simply killed them. It's priceless, just simple bliss of acheiving that. cool

Blazblue: CS has to be the most technical fighter I've played on the 360 so far. It's just amazing.

Playing with the normal controllers make things more challenging, But playing the simple controls make the game play more fun! of course, You could always switch back and fourth between it in the option menu.

Fighting games are boring after about 10 minutes.
If they have custom characters then maybe 20 minutes.
They're all just button mashing tbh.
And that's really... boring.
I might play them more if there were more... umm, SEXY men.
Not girls.
