Anybody play fighting games? I had never owned one until I bought Dragon Ball: Raging Blast for the Xbox 360. AWESOME GAME. other than that i have played a few others...Soul Calibur is awesome...Nightmare is favorite character... Anyways what is your favorite fighting game(s)?

Try out Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 it is ahhhmazing.

I love the mortal combat series. Had it when I was a kid on the Genesis and have stuck with it to get my "Beat the crap outta that guy for no adequetly explored reason" fix.

I've played the DBZ series, but that's pretty much it, I'm not into fighting games too much, but I LOVE to watch people play biggrin

I used to love Mortal Kombat until part 3 came out. Combos *ugh* I don't like games that are designed for you to lose if you don't learn fixed-button combos. I like being able to make my own up.

Sombrale Super smash bros I also played Soul Calibur 2, but fight games aren't my thing. Super smash bros is awessomeee. lol i forgot to mention that one. and i unlocked everything back when i used to play Super Smash Bros: Melee all the time.

Oh, well, I could sit here and rant about this for a while.
I played Mortal Kombat II and MK Trilogy as a kid, so they automatically win a lot of points just for the nostalgia. I have played all the newer iterations up to Armageddon.
Soul Calibur III was the first of that series that I played, and I was instantly addicted. I now have Soul Calibur IV and play like it's crack.
Marvel vs. Capcom I used to play in an arcade with a friend. That same friend also owned a Dreamcast and Marvel vs. Capcom 2, and we played that one a lot as well. Oh the many sleepless nights on weekends we spent trying to beat that final boss of one-player mode. ;P
Which leads right into Street Fighter, of course. Street Fighter Alpha 2 was the first one, and I've played most of them since, all the way up to Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike. I haven't had the money to afford (Super) Street Fighter IV, so I can't say anything about it yet.
Oh yes, and the madness that is the Smash Brothers series. I really like it because I could finally play as all my favorite Nintendo characters and join in this ridiculous fray of insanity. Oh, the madness~
Which also reminds me of Dissidia: Final Fantasy. Yes, I love that one too. Particularly because you could actually play as some of the villains in the series, which I thought was really cool. =D
All in all, I really like all of these games. They're all awesome in my eyes.
