|1059| Masashi, Lee, Gobantai Taichō"Hold it together. Birds of a feather. Nothing but lies and crooked wings. I have the answer. Spreading the cancer. You are the faith inside me. No, Don't, leave me to die here. Help me survive here, alone. Don't Remember! Remember! Put me to sleep, Evil Angel. Open your wings, Evil Angel. I'm a believer. Nothing could be worse. All these imaginary friends. Hiding betrayal. Driving the nail. Hoping to find a savior. No, don't, leave me to die here. Help me survive here, alone. Don't Surrender! Surrender! Put me to sleep, Evil Angel. Open your wings, Evil Angel. Fly over me, Evil Angel. Why can't I breathe, Evil Angel?" Lee turned to Hideki giving him a stiff nod in agreement though he said nothing noticing Hei's arrival but ignoring the man. Before he even received the nonverbal okay from Yuki Lee figured Hei could not resist putting every present down. The man could not resist kicking them while they were down which further served to fuel the anger Lee had for the man. Lee figured him arrogant enough to take it upon himself to let them all know of their shortcomings. Rolling his eyes at Hei's initial statement Lee turned back around slightly angry that Yuki would allow him to give the speech. Angry that Yuki would allow him to remain a Captain when he intentionally sought hollow powers out and used them freely. He shouldn't have been allowed to be here even if he did hold strength that they needed. They would find some way to move forward without him. Though Lee knew Yuki would never send him away no matter what he did to deserve it which further pushed his anger towards the man. He was allowed to get away with too much in Lee's eyes that he was sure no of the rest of them would get away with.
When Hei began to put them all down hitting Nu below the belt so to speak by speaking of her missing arm Lee rolled his eyes again. Who he was speaking of concerning being knocked out before the battle started however he didn't know. The only thing out of the entire speech that even surprised Lee was when Hei spoke about his beloved daughter as well. Hei's disappointment meant very little to Lee as did his statement about raising them. As far as he was concerned until the man stopped treating them with contempt then there was no need to even listen to a word he uttered. Though he did bring up a good point or two which Lee was not against hearing. He was not so jaded with Hei as to ignore something just because Hei proposed it. Yet at the same time Lee got an odd foreboding feeling and was inclined to be very suspicious of anything Hei was likely to suggest.
Then his first suggestion was met with a shake of Lee's head to signal that would not be happening anytime in the near future. The last thing Hei needed was more power that was something Lee was completely sure of and would not be moving on. He would find a way to beat the Sephira even if it meant risking his life to bring on their downfall. Surely the others would agree. Then Hei began doing something and beings he couldn't exactly see what it was he turned. After a few moments his foreboding feeling was realized as he was met with the evil, foul, and stifling aura of the orb in his hands. Was he actually suggesting they do the same as him? Wield the same evil power for their own use? Surely he wasn't the only one with a sense of pride that would choose other means of acquiring power. Then again the others had never seemed to be as against Hei being a half hollow as Lee was with the exception of Hibiki. Still this was going to far. There was no way there should be more vizards and to even suggest it was offensive.
His gaze quickly went to Hei as the orb was unveiled and his eyes narrowed in anger. The anger he had felt since the beginning slowly coming to the surface without care or desire to hide it. "How dare you suggest we commit the same atrocities as yourself and undergo the same evil transformation just to further our power. I don't give a damn if it gave me godly power I would not lower myself to such standards. Have you no pride in yourself? It is bad enough that you are allowed to continue in the way you are given just because you were friends with the old Sotaicho and your sister is the Sotaicho. To suggest that we follow in your footsteps is too much. Say what you want about me but I am not the one who cast aside my ideals and pride simply for power. If the others want to corrupt themselves that is their problem but I am against this. I am against such ways of achieving power. I will find my own way of furthering my power. Without the help of you." Turning around and gazing off the roof again silently fuming Lee stayed where he was to hear the final verdict. There wasn't really anywhere for him to go anyway considering Hibiki's disappointing apartment. How could a Captain that had been living in the living realm live in such a place without being able to afford better?
Turning to Hideki Lee had not missed the man's words and felt disappointment rise up that there was someone actually willing to lower themselves. However Lee remembered all to well what it had looked like and even felt like when Hei was cocooned and released. The hollowfied Hei had spared no time in sinking his hand into Lee's chest shocking Lee and nearly killing him if not for Yuki. Something Lee was all to aware of and knew that he shouldn't have voiced some of his thoughts out of respect for her. Oh well it was only a matter of time. However the feeling of having a hand sunk into his chest was still there and even if the wound was gone the phantom pain still lingered. It was something he would never forgive Hei for and one of the reasons Lee was so against the hollowification. What if while taken over by the hollow he hurt one of his colleagues? Unlike Hei Lee wouldn't be so casual about nearly killing an ally. Another reason to hate Hei with a passion. Still his only response to Hideki accepting being a shake of his head. Subconsciously rubbing the spot Hei had impaled him Lee turned around the moment his hand fell. "If you are going to go through with it then I demand you be put under heavy binding so we don't have another hollow trying to kill allies." The last part of the statement was directed at Hei though Lee didn't spare him a glance.
"Sacrifice through Danger and Pure Love. That is what the Lily of the Valley symbolizes."

 ☾ Nibantai Taichō ☽

Fire consumes all without prejudice Thunder strikes one with divine prudence She judges those other see unworthy A tool for those who know it.
▀ ▄ ▀ ▄ ▀ ▄ ▀ ▄ ▀ ▄ ▀ ▄ ▀ ▄ ▀ ▄ [[666 LOL xD]] Her train of thought was soon destroyed by the crackdown that was Hei landing the ground floor of the apartment. What followed was Hei, the man as he was, took a seat in an instant, having scaled back up to the top level using a shunpo, and began expressing his dissapointment in a fashion only he could. The armless captain was used to Hei's open expressions at his disbelief of their skill, so she showed no expression of anger. Somehow, she had the impression that his scolding made the entire Gotei Thirteen stronger, making them strive to prove him wrong, though it was only a theory at best. She couldn't do much but lower her head a fraction of an inch when he mentioned her, his facts rang true. She was now crippled, and no amount of wishing will change that harsh fact. What snapped her out of her mental sob fest was the realization that he also blamed Eriko, who she thought performed excellent under the circumstances. To judge another while unconscious, that was simply underhanded, he even judged his daughter accordingly, a surprise to Nu, as she usually thought his daughter performed everything to his rigorous standards, leaving no space for remarks.
The offer for them to give him their power was out of the question, and in first thought, his other suggestion seemed more absurd, as she stared into the orb with mixed feelings. Of course she wished for power, what captain didn't? But to go the realm where Shinigami should not enter was.......tempting. Turning her head, she wasn't surprised to find Hideki offering himself, a man of science like him would be attracted to such things, and Lee's outburst was also not surprising. He kept his honor with him, and for him to accept would have been borderline laughable. Nu, under Lee's tutelage, would have never accepted to the proposition, but then again, she was a different person then. A small lieutenant, she doubted she would have made her own choices at such a rank, instead honing her skills to please her beloved Captain. Now that she was walking on the same rank as Lee, she developed her own version of "Duty and Honor." While still keeping her pride with her, she wasn't exactly as angry as Lee was about it. But she knew he would never see her in the same light again, but was a relationship worth abilities that could save millions?
So to her, she walked on what could possibly be the crosswalk of her future. To obtain that greater power would most likely destroy or at the very least sever the bond that connected her with the Captain, but in return, power that could help countless people, power so that she will never again be a hindrance to Lee, or anyone. It felt like making a deal with a demon, and she hardened herself for what will come after. Holding her head up high, so that all could see her conviction, she walked forward, next to Hideki, eyes showing nothing but pride in herself. Unlike him, she didn't know what will happen to her, or what kind of changes might occur. After all, it wasn't as though Hei flaunted this kind of thing, but she had a few glimpses into what it could do, but this made her no less afraid. She wondered, as she extended her only arm in a fashion similar to Hideki, as she had no idea on how this process worked, what Elisia and Lee would think. Most likely a monster, for the kind of trade off she was making, but to be shackled by emotion for a greater service she could be doing, that would be truly betraying her honor as a Captain. "Its not as though I could do much in this state, ready when you are Hei......" Turning her head one last time, she found Elisia, offering her one friend a sheepish smile, as though apologizing for some unknown deed.

1191 xxxxxxxxClimb the mountains and get their good tidings. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxNature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. Hakase Yuki 博士雪 Ichibantai Taichō
Seeing Tsukiko arrive dressed up and hidden by a large black cloak was not so surprising as witnessing her removed a deceased Ciel from her shoulder and lay him down on the roof before getting back up and presenting them with bandages. Her face did not reveal the internal struggle she was going through, but instead her expression remained stern and almost cold as she could not afford to complacent at the present moment- nor did she want to. Sparing a glance at Ciel from her current seat that Lee had brought over to her, she shut her eyes and swallowed. "Yes, a hero he was." Pressing her hand to her stomach more firmly, she opened her eyes once more and fixed her gaze upon Lee as he asked his questions. She decided to not so much ignore them, so as much as she put them off to the side to be dealt with at a later time. Yuki was simply not in the mood to explain that she had to retreat because she was pregnant with Hei's child.
Hideki's interjection saved her the trouble of explaining what she had in mind, or at least part of it, so she was grateful for that and used that moment to avert her attention to Akane and Suzume, who both bowed before Akane began explaining himself to her. Yuki gave him a small wave of her hand, dismissing his words as quickly as she had heard them. "It is of no importance. Your presence would not have made much of a difference. As hard as that may to be to hear, it is the truth." In the corner of her eye, she caught Hei making a motion to her, which she knew from years of experience meant that he wished to speak to the rest of them in her place. She nodded her approval, then waited for Hell to spill past Hei's lips. She knew well enough he was going to degrade them, and in hindsight it was possibly not the best of choices, but she also knew that there were times when they had to be scolded, and there was no one better at it than Hei, except when she was doing the same to him. At any rate, she did not feel up to trying to tame her brother, so she let him have free reign over the next few minutes, quietly thinking to herself about the future while Hei went through his speech.
She cast her gaze upon the orb when he brought it out, feeling unnerved by it's stifling power and relieved when Hei subdued its power with his own and then said what she had known he was going to suggest all along. In fact, she was going to suggest it as well but didn't exactly know how to do it all that well, so she was glad he had done it for her. Sensing the change in Lee's body, she looked over to him and was not surprised that he went off on Hei for a moment or two, and when he had finished, she clamped her hand over Hei's mouth before he could speak and promptly stood up. There was something that had been bugging her about his way of thinking, but not only him, but Hibiki and others as well. There was something she had to confirm for herself, something she had to tell Lee before he was allowed to continue thinking like he did, so she ignored her anger towards a few things he had just said, and remained calm while speaking to him. "Before you continue, Hei, I wish to understand something. Why is it, Mashashi-taichō, that you believe that acquiring a different power than one which you are accostomed to, is so evil? What is it about a hollow's powers that are so evil? Is it their Cero that are not unlike your own precious Kidō? Could it perhaps be their Garganta, that is no different in principle than our own Senkaimon? Or is it their Zanpakutō that draws our their true form, just as Namihime-chan draws out the true form of your soul?" At this point she was not actually fishing for answers, but instead leading Lee onto her path of thinking without demanding that he think that way. "Let me ask you this; Arrancar are hollow with Shinigami powers, correct? Shinigami are supposedly the good guys in all of this, correct? How do you explain then, within your realm of logic, that Arrancar still remain the malevolent spirit they have always been after acquiring our powers of good? Because that is not how it works. It is not the power that is evil, it is what you choose to do with it that makes it evil or good, and until I see Hei eating human souls and running around the deserts of Hueco Mundo, then I shall not consider him an evil man."
Now that all of that was said and done, she was able to pull back her feelings of anger, which provoked her to quickly close the gap between herself and her subordinate and promptly back-hand him across the face, lowering her hand slowly while staring him down. Her tone came strict and free of comfort, her angelic disposition had already left her a while ago. "How dare you suggest that I allow familial relations to interfere with my decisions!" She began angrily, wagging her finger to the Captain's face. "Do you so strongly believe that I have allowed Hei to run free simply because he is my brother?! Let me set you straight, boy. That man is allowed the same privileges as you and I because of the strength of his character, something that you know nothing about because the first thing you see is his arrogance, and never bother to look past that. Never! However arrogant he may be, however he may view other people, he is still a valiant man who cares more than you will ever know for his elder sister and daughter, as well as her wife! That alone is enough to prove to me that he has enough restraint to remain as a free member of this society, and if you can't understand that, then you need to focus more on your maturity than your power! What is this, you speak of abandoning pride and ideals for power, but you have no idea what his ideals are, and I don't believe that you can think the most arrogant man in the world could have possibly lost his pride, which is no more than another word for ego! I won't permit you to make such assumptions about Hei, nor will I allow you to decide how I make my decisions!" She took a pause and turned her back on Lee, thoroughly irritated with him now. Lowering her voice, she flicked her hand to the side and spoke one final thing. "Abandon your arrogance, Masashi Lee. You are not without faults." Returning to her chair, she put her free hand over a good portion of her face and resumed being irritated at almost everything while she remained silent. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, xxxxxxxx And the storms their energy, xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx While cares will drop off like autumn leaves.xxxxxxxxxx [What good is a thread without a long Yuki post? whee ]

⋆⋆⋆∥ HAKASE xELISIA ☇【 yonbantaixTAICHO 】 Elisia nodded in response to Akane’s bow, a smile forming on her face as she watched him go off. While there had been losses, she also had to remember the fact that there might be new people as well. The balance was still thrown off, but that was nothing to be done about that. Hearing a loud shout from where Hei had been thrown, she flinched, knowing that he had most likely found out about Yuki’s pregnancy and the fact that they had retreated. To say the very least, he would be in a bad mood, if not a mood in which he simply wanted to murder all of them. Her eyes grew wide with fear as she noted his appearance in the chair that her sister had brought. Although he seemed rather disinterested by everything as usual, she didn’t doubt that he was going to be in a bad mood, especially since they were stranded in the Human World and they had to retreat while he had been unconscious. Her prediction came true a few seconds after as he started to rebuke basically each and every one of the Captains, yet doing it in a way that did not reveal their names, but left it up to own imagination.
She managed to work out most of the people that she was talking to, except for the man with the child’s body, as she had frankly no idea whatsoever. As she had been one of the last, she knew that it would be coming to her too, yet it still cut her deeply as before. Biting her tongue to keep all the harsh words from coming out in one go, she held herself back, but couldn’t prevent herself from casting a pained look at her wife. Tsukiko’s scolding had not been her fault, but Elisia’s herself. Why, oh, why couldn’t she do anything right? Inwardly kicking herself for her stupidity, she resolved to take care of her own thoughts and control her emotions in a better way so that she would not inconvenience anyone ever again. She might be a healer, but she doubted that she could merely stay like that for the entire battle. Fighting was one area she would have to deal with, as she had not even able to make a dent in the Sephira and not joined any battles. Hurriedly realizing that she was dropping back into her own thoughts again, she dragged herself out of her mind and back to reality, just in time to see Hei take out the Hōgyoku and feel its domineering aura for a short while before it disappeared.
Unable to hide her literal disgust, she recoiled away from it, her face a combination of terror and curiosity. She had never seen it in action ever before, but she knew what it was, like every other Shinigami would, most likely. Despite she knew that Hei had used it to become a Vizard, it was still a shock to see the fact that he still carried it around, instead of immediately disposing of it. Her face twisted into a grimace as she gazed on it – Hei’s apparent solution to this entire imbalance of power between them and the Sephira. However, they had no choice in this situation. Training could, as Hei had said, only get them so far and if they were to go back as they were now, they would be utterly torn apart. The others seemed to have mixed reactions – Hideki seemed to accept it and even volunteer to go first, Lee was strongly against it and Nu also accepted it as well. Catching Nu’s sheepish smile, she couldn’t help but feel a pang of pain in her heart at letting one of her friends do something like that, but it was the girl’s choice. It would do nothing for them if she stopped Nu and she might even regret not letting Nu follow what she felt was right. She returned Nu’s smile with a worried face, but a nod to show the fact that she agreed to let Nu do as she wished. Her eyes also lingered upon Hideki, as she was slightly anxious about him too, as she was somewhat close to him in terms of friendship. It was the only thing to do, since it would be awkward to join the conversation at the moment, since Yuki was currently letting her anger rage against Lee, about Lee’s suggestion that Hei had been given ‘special treatment’ in one way or another.
It was only after a short while after Yuki had finished that Elisia herself removed her gaze from Nu and Hideki. Closing her eyes as she wished that this choice wouldn’t have to be made, she added her own opinion with a sigh and in a tired voice, “I’d prefer not to use this Hōgyoku, but…if we must, we must. Our losses were terrible this time around and we cannot let that happen again. If the only way to do this is to use the stone, then, we’ll have to use it, I’m afraid.” She felt a little guilty about not being able to support Lee in his staunch opposition, but the loss of half her own Division as well as the other losses she had seen, made her wary and scared of what might happen if they didn’t manage to increase their own power. For a second, she wondered whether she should have put herself forward to be changed as well, but decided against it as a Vizard healer would be a little crazy and not helpful in the very least. ▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬

Hibiki Kirisho - Squad Nine Captain - ================================================
The gods trembled The demons flockedTaking his sweet time to go back up to the roof, Hibiki’s mind went back to the war with the Sephira, analyzing it to the best of his abilities, though that wasn’t much. He had thought that Hei’s opponent, Zenos was the most powerful of them, an assumption that was gravely mistaken upon Ori’s arrival. Thinking about it now, it seemed like they were partly to blame for his creation as well, as if they were only able to find Tomomi then none of this would have happened. Though, he knew better than to dwell on the past too much, Ori and the Sephira were now in Soul Society and they were stuck in the Human World, in his apartment building of all places. Rubbing his forehead he wondered just how he would manage to continue once Edward and Nina got back from their quest to find a Shinto priest. In retrospect, Hibiki realized he probably should’ve told them to find something more difficult, like Santa’s beer hat, or the Easter Bunny’s ashtray. Letting out an audible sigh, Hibiki stepped out into the rooftop and was greeted by an unexpected, though a little bit welcome sight.
The sight of Hei being dangled by his ankle, like Achilles was dangled by his own, coupled with Yuki’s revelation of her pregnancy purged Hibiki’s mind of any thought process he was undertaking, causing it to reboot, in a way similar to a computer would. A slight twitch of his left eye Hibiki thought to himself ”Pre-pregnant?! What?! Th-that’s the reason we retreated?!” before the realization struck him that it was indeed a correct decision on Yuki’s part. Though he didn’t like losing, the thought of a child being killed because of the war was something that didn’t sit well with Hibiki. As Yuki practically threw Hei off the roof, Hibiki couldn’t help but dash to the edge of the building to see what would become him. He didn’t expect the fall to kill him, or to even damage him actually, what he was expecting was for him to crash and that was the problem. Hibiki could care less about what would happen to Hei, however, if he were to cause structural damage, or even damage to the ground itself, Hibiki would have to come up with an even more ludicrous excuse than mere ghosts. Not much could break Hibiki’s concentration at this point, save for Yuki’s sudden change in tone, causing him to turn around so as to not seem rude.
Upon Yuki’s request for a chair, Hibiki refrained from visibly displaying his confusion at Yuki’s request. Then again, she was pregnant, and Hibiki wasn’t exactly an expert when it came to pregnancy and other such topics. His attention, however, suddenly diverted itself from Yuki to Tsukiko who had just arrived in attire that masked her identity, though this was later confirmed by her showing them her Division’s symbol. Tilting his head a bit, Hibiki wondered just why Tsukiko was adorned in such an odd ensemble, but this thought was suddenly interrupted upon seeing Ciel’s lifeless body. Letting out a slight sigh, Hibiki noticed Lee’s arrival, just after Nu’s as well, and noticed that he carrying a chair for Yuki. Hearing the name of the kido spell Lee spoke, Hibiki managed to remember the spell’s effects as it was a fairly unused spell. Overhearing his name as it was called out by Tsukiko, Hibiki nodded in response ”Yes, of course. But we shouldn’t worry about that now.” he replied before falling silent once more to pay respects to Ciel.
The silence was broken upon hearing Hideki’s statement, which Hibiki thought was in response to Lee’s question. Hibiki couldn’t pinpoint who this man was, as Hideki had only so far told Elisia and Eriko about it; however he remained quiet as he seemed to be an ally and the others didn’t seem to be bother by his presence. Once he was done, Hibiki couldn’t help but a feel slightly encouraged, though what he spoke was easier said than done, at least it was comforting to know that not all of them had given up hope.
Hibiki’s good mood, however, would soon be ruined by Hei’s arrival. From the moment his arrogant face made itself clear to Hibiki’s vision, he was already preparing to outright ignore the man, though given Hei’s dominating voice, it was quite a task for Hibiki, but he still managed. As Hei went on about the flaws in their mindsets and abilities, Hibiki restrained himself from commenting on it and instead simply looked on with a look of disinterest. He was choosing either telling the man to just shut up or simply ignoring him, and given the circumstances he’d rather choose the latter. However, even the sudden change in Hei’s ring caused him to pay attention as in his mind; anything from Hei couldn’t be good. As the white barrier shattered and faded into dust, Hibiki looked on as he saw the orb placed gingerly between his fingers. It took Hibiki a while to process what he was seeing, the Hougyoku was something he had no real knowledge about, aside from the fact that it transforms Shinigami into Vizards, with this thought in mind, Hibiki’s anger soon reached his boiling point.
Just as Lee finished his statement, Hibiki was inclined to given the same opinion, but decided against it as he wasn’t nearly as fluent as Lee was and would probably end up spouting swears upon curses if anything else. As Hideki volunteered to become the first one to undergo hollowfication, Hibiki couldn’t help but feel disappointment in the man, though he managed to stave this off with a ‘to each his own’ rationale, he was still visibly disturbed by it, more so with Nu who seemed to be fine with acquiring power through, what Hibiki thought was, corruption. Given the fact that Yuki was practically yelling at the top of her voice, Hibiki couldn’t help but overhear her conversation with Lee. She was obviously angry, fuming in fact, but Hibiki couldn’t find the necessary emotion to sympathize with her, as this was Hei she was talking about after all. Letting out one last sigh, Hibiki massaged his forehead as he sat down on the rooftop; if others were willing to undergo hollowfication then it was their choice, not his ”Personally, I’d rather die as a Shinigami, than die as a Vizard.” he finally spoke out ”Call it pride, hard-headedness, blatant ignorance, or whatever. Seeing as how others are willing to make the sacrifice, I won’t protest against it. However, I apologize Captain-Commander, but, as Shinigami, we are dedicated to killing hollows to protect the Human World. To become one of them, if only even by a portion is, quite frankly, disgusting and I agree with Captain Lee. We need power to defeat the enemy, but pride is not such a useless thing that it can be simply thrown away.” he continued, trying his best to make it as non-provoking as possible, as he didn’t feel like incurring Yuki’s wrath anytime soon, though, he guessed he failed miserably at that ”Besides, I doubt we need that many Vizards, one or two at best since we already have a half-Vizard, half-Arrancar anyway, right Hei? And I doubt you can handle anymore than that as I'm sure you'll be too busy increasing your own power through hell-knows-what means, right?!” yelled Hibiki as he stared at the man fiercely, ignoring his proper title as Captain as Hibiki deemed the man to be unworthy of even being a Shinigami, he had finally snapped as the thought of Hei stooping so low as to acquire a Resureccion was still fresh in his mind. This man who had corrupted himself for power was practically an enemy in Hibiki's mind, and he could care less to incur his wrath of not.

 Tadashi Sakamoto
9th Division Lieutenant Tadashi simply glanced between speakers as the conversation swung dangerously close into becoming an arguement. He would not put his own thoughts in because he knew it would not matter to the rest of the Shinigami. Hell, Hei had probably even thought him so unworthy as to not insult him like he did with the others when he was listing off their faults and how their current levels of power weren't enough. Still, Tadashi was inclined to agree with the hint that Hei had left in the air - that is, use the Hogyoku. He was no expert by any means on the process of Hollowfication, but he did know that it was just the kind of power boost that he needed. Tadashi imagined his Bankai's speed capabilities further boosted by the aid of a Vizard mask and suddenly found himself realizing he could be of great use to Soul Society. With a mask, it would be as if the Bankai limiter that so exhausted his strength to break would be nonexistant - and his speed would pass even the regular breaking of the limiter. Not to mention that he would become more durable (since the incredible speed of his Bankai was unfortunately accompanied by his low physical strength).
However, he simply kept quiet to the leading parties in the discussion and instead murmured to Suzume. "Just what do you think of this?" he asked.[Heheh, thanks to Virgil's friend, I saw this Vizard thing coming. 3nodding ]

1129 ◤xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx◥ Hakase Hei Jūnibantai Taichō ◣xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx◢ "...allow me to show you a fate worse than death." Hei's gaze fell upon Hideki as he approached, holding his hand out as though he expected to be given such a device. After that, he almost regretted leaving him out of his tongue lashing; any member of his division, current or former, should know how possessive he was about the Hōgyoku. Tch escaped from his lips as he refused to move, denying his former Lieutenant the chance to be turned on his own terms. Hei would do it, that much was certain, but he would do it when he was ready to do so. This was certainly going to be an entertaining experiment, one hell of one, actually. Lee's words came as no surprise to him- nothing the captain did came as a surprise to him, not when he was so predictable that it was mundane. His reference to Hei driving his hand through his chest came as nothing more than amusement for him, and he opted out of once again insulting his skills by reminding Lee that if he had any advanced degree of control over his Kidō, that he would have been able to stop his hollow possession before he had released Shōhi. But no such luck; he was a failure in Hei's eyes, after all. After Lee had finished speaking, he found a hand clamped over his mouth, which he had no problems with knowing that it was his sister's hand. The tender touch of her skin on his lips was intoxicating, almost enough to send him over the edge, and he was close to losing his composure when she finally released him and stepped forward to do what he was going to do to Lee, just on a less painful level.
Foolishly, Lee had managed to insult his sister and himself within the same statement, and while he wouldn't have incited a readily visible emotional reaction from him, he was thinking of testing a new drug on him, quite the painful process. Of course, with that thought came the recollection that, if raising Tsukiko was any indication of how she would act, he no longer had a lab anymore, nor did he have a house. No matter, he could quickly amass a fortune in little under a year. In reference to Lee, He idly made a comment as his sister took her seat next to him. "Useless." Though he was not prepared to show it, he was glad in the very least that she stood up for him. Nu approaching him came as no surprise to him at all, as he was sure his comment to her arm would have incited the reaction he desired, and he was right. She was met with the same reaction that Hideki had received, a scoff and an expressionless face. Meanwhile, Hei amused himself with the notion that people were actually agreeing with him as though there was some kind of choice. He knew already that he had already won this particular argument, and that his sister was on his side. What was left to defy him but the time wasting words of Hibiki? They came as quickly as he had anticipated, and as angry as he had heard them in his head a hundred times over by now. It was so amusing to him the way they thought, so amusing that if their ideals had been tangible, he would have ripped them out of their heads and run experiments on them.
All Hei could think about as Hibiki's words filtered into his ears was how much of a fool he sounded like. It was no surprise to anyone that the captain held contempt for Hei, but Hibiki somehow felt the need to superfluously express it every chance he got. As he looked down upon Hibiki with the superiority he knew well that he possessed, he took note of how ignorant the captain was for deciding that race determined the character of a person. Hei would not waste his time and effort explaining that like his sister had done; if Yuki's word were unable to reach his ears, then Hei would show him through force. After a moment or two of silence, Hei released a small portion of air from his mouth, leading to a sound that was akin to a scoff. Hibiki truly was as small as he made himself out to be. So very small. "Do not think so highly of yourself, Kirisho Hibiki. You are not so pure as to determine what is disgusting. Commendable, however. You have made my choice for me." With disregard to the two that stood before him, waiting to gain the power that he already possessed, Hei had set his sights on Hibiki, for he had managed to convince him that gaining the power would create the most inner turmoil, which would allow Hei amusement while being forced to do this task for the sake of the Gotei 13. He expected a lot of payback, in the bedroom, in his bank account, in his experimental subject reserves; he expected to be reimbursed for his troubles in every aspect of his life that was important to him. Outwardly, he had been emotionless this entire time, because, try as hard as they like, they couldn't get a rise out of him, though the reverse was incredibly easy. Lee and Hibiki had played directly into his hands.
His lips parted slightly, uttering a single, emotionless word that would change the course of Hibiki's life forever. "Shundō." And with a flash of light and a sonic boom that threw his chair clear out of the barrier Lee had made, he was gone and upon Hibiki in a split second, touching the Hōgyoku to his chest as he pumped his Reiryoku into the orb, simultaneously placing his hand over his left breast where his division symbol was affixed and uttered the words to remove his seal on his Reiryoku, allowing him to pour all of his power into the Hōgyoku. "Gentei Kaijo." Tiny appendages sprouted from the orb's surface and burrowed into the skin of Hei's fingers, then white bandages sprung from within the Hogyoku, and would quickly wrap around Hibiki, weaving in and out of each other to bind him from head to toe in any way possible. As soon as this process was to be completed, Hei would wait for the transparent glass-like box to surround Hibiki's bandaged body, creating a small rectangular groove in which the Hōgyoku rested safely as it continued to drain his Reiryoku. "It's done. Stop me now and kill him, Masashi Lee, or bind him and save everyone. Your call." Wearing the same mask of indifference, Hei transfixed his gaze on Lee, knowing perfectly well what the man would do. It was all too easy.

__[1331]__⌠ H i d e k i < ⌂ 朱 出 来 […] 得 血 ろ ⌂ > U c h i r o ⌡ ▬▬▐ J ŭsanB a ntai Taichō Feeling:T h e B e g i n n i n g o f P o w e r "Truth is simply a conception..." “As I thought…” Hideki spoke as he watched Hei’s reaction to his hand being held out, which was expected by Hideki. Hei was protective over such a powerful device, but it was worth a shot. Hideki lowered his hand in response to understanding and looked toward Lee as he started to speak. Hideki was quite surprised with Lee’s reaction to the situation at hand. He had agreed with Hideki in the sense that they had to train and become far more powerful, but once Hei had put forth his two cents, both of which, figuratively speaking, were well off and the latter the only one Hei knew the Captains would abide to, Lee changed his disposition completely. Being that Hideki had no care for the social standings of the world, aside from Ranked superiority or, in the liking of, class system, Hideki had no idea of the scornful feelings that both Lee and, as Hideki would find out later, Hibiki. The words of Lee were pompous to Hideki. Pride had many other forms, however the one Hideki likened it to most was something everyone knew – Happiness. Pride, in its simplest form, was simply the satisfaction with oneself. If you have to toss aside your pride, then you must through away that feeling of satisfaction with your choice. Hideki found, in the choice presented by Hei, a profound sense of happiness. It was a new experience, something that would, possibly, create a small sense of worldliness in him that nothing else could hope too. The other sense of pride that many find far before the one Hideki finds, is the superiority aspect. Hei held this often, but it was only the truth and far from an ill-placed pride. Lee might have had a combination of these two, of personal satisfaction and of the feeling that he was better than Hollow.
That was where, Hideki imagined, laid his problem. Lee felt as though he, as a Shinigami, was better than the Hollow he killed. Was it not the same process for each of them? Hollow kill Human souls to feed, to live, and Shinigami kill Hollow to allow other spirits to move forward; are we not the hunters of a simple beast knowing nothing other than how to live. That can be looked upon as being wrong. All of this flooded Hideki’s mind as he listened to Lee’s most pompous of speeches. When his eyes looked upon Hideki as he had stepped forward, Hideki gave a face that was to ridicule the man. It was accompanied by a scoff and a small laugh that was tantamount to Hideki simply saying: As if I care what the hell you think. When Nu had appeared next to Hideki, he looked upon her broken figure with a sense of pity. He wondered if she was stepping forward to do this as an act of duty to herself that she had failed, if she was power hungry as he was, or if she was ashamed to have lost so much. Perhaps she looked towards this power with eyes of hope that could change her ‘track record’ for the better. Hideki saw through most of it and found her to be far more scared and confused at what was in front of her than anything even close to anticipation. All of which was understandable, from his stand point, but still he looked back to Lee with eyes that held no emotion.
Hideki knew that a rebuttal or refute was coming from either Yuki or Hei; Hideki had assumed it to be Yuki from her ever being mentioned by Lee. This was only proven true when he saw, within his peripheral vision, Yuki placing her hand over Hei’s mouth. This should be fun. Yuki was speaking before his thought even ended. Doing a comparison of sorts to implant an idea into Lee’s head that was akin to what Hideki was thinking of while Lee, himself, was talking. It was a strange twist of coincidence that Hideki and Yuki would be thinking on the same type of thing in reference on Lee’s thinking. What was surprising to Hideki was the next thing Yuki would do, an open display of her feelings in the form of anger. Her back handing Lee was comical to say the least, which caused Hideki to chuckle internally on his downfall. It was as if Lee was his brother and being scolded by their mother, which was, more or less, a fitting simile considering their positions amongst each other. In any case, Hideki hoped that was either an eye opener to Lee or at least something to crush his own ego. He was pompous at the moment, feeling himself better than Hei because Hei underwent Hollowfication. It was silly to think that, but it was how Hideki saw the situation.
One would have to be daft not to see the apparent irritation written on Yuki’s face after she returned to her seat, her last words being powerful. The next voice he heard was Elisia, but he brushed her small sentiments off, as she was agreeing, in his eyes, out of necessity. What really caught Hideki’s ears were Hibiki’s words. He never knew the relationship between Hibiki and Hei, but it seemed to be tense at the very least. It would seem, however, Hibiki was far more open to the idea than Lee. However, the idea of pride came up again, which made Hideki roll his eyes. All this talk of pride was annoying to say the least. Pride was a simple word and a simple feeling. The same is for the word truth. The truth of their pride was different, and when they would be asked to change their pride, that would become a lie. However, if one were to embrace this newly changed pride, to make an exception, to make a choice for the better, as a necessity, that pride becomes their truth yet again. It is a funny thing to call something a lie, Hideki thought. It is only a lie until it becomes the truth and/or proven differently. Hideki’s senseless thinking that seemed to ramble in his head sometimes irritated him, but most of it were eye opening ideals for him. They made him far more open to things then the other narrow minded people of the Seireitei.
The next thing to happen would make Hideki’s eyes widen in surprise, to say the least. Hei was gone in the most fashionable way possible, with a chair flying off the roof, and upon Hibiki like a cheetah on an antelope. The cube was in his fingers and he saw begin to activate while Hei filled it with power. Then he felt his power overflow as he touched his chest, most likely unsealing his limiter, and the Hōgyoku began to connect to Hei’s fingers through strange appendages. The next thing to happen, Hideki knew all too well. The bandages came and then the glass-like covering over that. The question posed by Hei to Lee was all to ironic. Lee would have to toss away his “pride” and create a hypocritical lie or continue in with his ideals and stop the Hollowfication, thus killing his comrade; a peculiar situation to be in while in front of many other comrades. One wrong thought or movement could get you into a mess of trouble that would be far too hard to simply walk out of unscathed. Hideki crossed his arms as he watched with a small peak of amazement. He could not wait to feel that pain, that power, that incredible feeling. It seemed to be an incredible force, and he knew it to be so from past experiences.
His last action was to look to Lee, as if seeking answers, and simply stare at him. He hoped to put pressure on the man to make the right decision, something he knew Lee would hate to do, but something Hideki knew the man knew he had to do.

1200 xxxxxxxxthe Sun locks the Heavens xxxxxxxxthe Moon eclipses the Night 博士月子 Jūnibantai Fukutaichō As everyone around her began to speak of what they were supposed to do, Tsukiko remained silent. She was not ignorant to the looks she was being given by Elisia, but she simply couldn't go to her. She wanted to comfort her, but she was honor-bound to her father and she was going to respect him by not moving while he was speaking. After he had finished, however, she bent over at the waist and expressed her deepest, most profound apologies as he had been quite right about her being too worried about Elisia. She was a captain, after all. "Understood. I will correct myself in the future, otō-sama. And please allow me to take responsibility for Elisia as well. I am sorry, otō-sama." After this, she fell quiet, listening to the others speak, but offering neither logical nor emotional response. Instead, as Hei went after Hibiki, she retreated to her inner world at the request of Juushin. Within her inner world, which was nothing more than an expanse of pure black surrounding a large Shinto Shrine that seemed immune to the darkness that surrounded it. In this world, Tsukiko's appearance was that of what she would have looked like at seven years of age had she not died at four and a half years. Long flowing, black locks of hair adorned her head, she took directly after her father in that aspect. Her eyes were bright blue, after her mother, and her complexion was nothing short of divine. With no chest to speak of and standing at a miniature 3'5 and a beetleweight 45 pounds, Tsukiko was easily an incredibly adorable child, even if she was sensitive about her height in this form.
"Isn't he going a little too far this time? He's forcing Hollowfication on someone who expressly stated that they were against it and even after Yuki-sama just claimed he wasn't evil. He's being counter-productive!" Shouted the spirit, her voice echoing in the vast expanse of the large room they were seated in. Tsukiko tossed her hair back and shook her head in response to the spirit. "Iie... He's teaching him a lesson, though his methods are not exactly kosher, they're not done with 100% malevolence either. Though he may find some twisted joy out of watching this play out, he's doing this for Hibiki's benefit in the long run. Once Hibiki has the same power Hei has, he will come to learn, in time, that hollow powers are not what is evil, but the hollow itself. Hei was like that at one point, but he has since gotten smarter." Juushin carried a worried look on her face, though it was mixed with doubt as well. "A... lesson? Isn't that a bit much?" Tsukiko shook her head from side to side quickly, indicating her firm disagreement to the statement. "No... I don't think so, it's necessary. As I said, Hei was like that once, stubbornly refusing to accept hollow or their power as anything other than evil." Juushin simply couldn't understand Hei's thought process, but she didn't imagine that many could to begin with. Still, it was eating at her. "Then why would he choose to undergo Hollowfication?"
Picking up the tea cup before her, on the kotatsu they were sitting at, Tsukiko sipped at it, then replaced it on the table before responding. "Because... his love for his elder sister conquered his fear of becoming a Vizard, and forced him to change his way of thinking. That's why... That is why I do not see him as evil for obtaining that power; because he was doing it for Yuki. But apparently the ignorant masses believe that Hei furthers his power for himself. It is true that he finds happiness in being stronger, but it is because he is happy that he can protect her. He saw the frustration in that was caused by her inability to kill Zenos, and as her caring brother, he immediately put himself through Hell to obtain another power. He doesn't think twice, not for her." Juushin was slightly taken aback by the idea that Hei had ever feared gaining hollow, and even more taken aback for his reason for willingly subjecting himself to such a process. In the back of her mind, she could see why that would certainly make his so-called crime an act of good and not of evil, but still, there were other things about Hei that could not be overlooked. She finally settled on the one thing that was impossible to ignore and voiced it. "And what of his own arrogance? His thought that the rest of the Gotei is beneath him, how does that make him any different?" Surely her mistress could not defend that.
"You're not listening, Juushin. You're right, he is arrogant. But that does not determine if he is evil. He knows where he excels and he expresses that openly, but he will not claim superiority if it is not true. Or have you forgotten that he did not compare Masashi-taichō to himself, but to me instead? Therein lies the difference. It's difficult to convey in words exactly how his mind operates, but you eventually learn to understand him if you try." Juushin was at a large loss of words- she simply couldn't find a way to counter that logic, not when it was true. Still, her mind frantically searched for something that would make Hei the bad guy in all of this, but why she tried so hard, she was not sure. Finally, her mind clicked on something and she voiced it. "His insults! If he's going to act superior, he doesn't have to be an a*****e and insult everyone all the time! Surely you can't defend that, can you?!"
Tsukiko stood up and heaved a sigh, then looked into her spirit's eyes and smirked. "If I told you right now that you were the weakest Zanpakutō in the history of the Soul Society, would you not do your very best to prove to me otherwise?" Juushin's stunned silence was all Tsukiko needed to hear, and as she turned away from Juushin, she began to fade from sight. "Do you believe for a second that he would waste his time talking to anyone if he didn't have a purpose for doing so? He casts insults to force them to grow more powerful, because it is human nature to rise to the challenge when they are berated by someone they hate. I will surpass him and prove him wrong! That is what Hibiki, and Lee... and many others think. I told you, Juushin; My father is a genius of the highest caliber, he knows his limits, and he knows he will die. He is not so callous as to legitimately think he can do everything on his own, nor that he will live forever." Juushin couldn't make words come out, it all sounded impossible; she was right. Hei insulted people as a form of motivation mixed in with his own annoyance. Lee had proved that himself by vowing to get better without Hei's help. "Damn." Juushin now knew why both Yuki and Tsukiko held him in such high regards, despite his outward appearance. ₪ ₪ ₪ ₪ ₪ ₪ [God, I hope that made sense. xd ]

|1591| Masashi, Lee, Gobantai Taichō"Hold it together. Why can't I breathe, Evil Angel?" Lee silently fumed as he waited for the backlash to his statements that he knew to be coming regretting some of the things he said already. He was not so pompous as to not accept what was coming to him though if it was Hei to do it Lee would likely just get angrier with the situation. Why did the man have to get under his skin so much that he wanted to cut that arrogant look completely off his face? To cut out his heart to show everybody that it was as black as night. Biting back his anger he let such thoughts leave his head knowing them to only be temporary thoughts brought on by anger. While lee may hate the man the only way he would ever try and cut him down would be if he was attacked first or Hei betrayed them. Whether he would admit it or not Lee knew Hei would never betray them for his own reasons likely having to do with his sister and daughter. Running his hand through his hair he calmed himself further so that he had a semblance of calm again. He hated feeling so angry at someone even if they rightly earned it. Such anger should be reserved for the enemy and not an ally even if that ally was someone like Hei.
Looking at Hideki as the man laughed for a moment he was surprised to see Nu suddenly step forward and stand next to him accepting this new way. Shock was written across his face as he looked at her seeing the sense of pride reflected in her eyes. Wiping off such thoughts he was confused as to how she could pridefully accept such ways. Pride should have been thrown to the wind in the face of such methods. What of her feelings? Had she not openly displayed her affection towards him but minutes before only to do this? This was almost the exact opposite of the feelings she shared for him leaving him high and dry and so far to be the only person against such methods. Hurt was reflected in his eyes for a moment or two before he looked away and let out a small inaudible sigh. How could he be so wrong that no one seemed to share his thoughts? Looking to the floor as frustration flared up in him again this time towards himself. Was it fear that kept him from accepting these 'evil' powers? Hadn't he cast aside such weak thoughts years ago? How could he be so wrong to think it was evil and corrupt?
Out of the corner of his eyes he spotted Yuki standing up and let out a sigh turning around to accept what she had to say. If everyone else had to listen to him especially her when he accidentally spoke ill of her then he would grant the same. Her words made sense and somehow that made it that much harder to hear. Perhaps he was being stubborn but he didn't really wish to find out his thinking all these years was flawed. How could powers of a hollow not be evil when hollow were evil? Surely she did not suggest that hollow were not evil? They devoured humans to satisfy their own hunger which made them very evil. Sure they acquired Shinigami powers when becoming Arrancar but that was not something Lee really considered. Did it make their own power evil? Though somehow Lee figured this was just the calm before the storm. Without meaning to he had spoke ill of her and surely she wasn't just going to let that go?
Then with only the anger reflected in her eyes as warning she stepped forward and promptly backhanded him surprising him. Leaving his face sideways for the moment he stared off into space while waiting for the verbal backlash. Her first statement was expected and slowly he turned his face so he was facing her again. As she continued speaking he adopted a firm look considering Hei left little choice about looking past the arrogance. Her bit about caring for her, Tsukiko, and Elisia being enough to prove him capable of walking free was met with somewhat of a scowl. How did that prove anything? Some of the Hollows cared for each other did that mean they were capable of walking free amongst human souls? No. Not in Lee's mind. Letting her completely finish before he was going to say anything Lee sighed at her last statement Lee shook his head. "I don't believe I ever claimed to be without faults. My faults are quite obvious for all to see and I do not deny them. However right you may be about hollow powers not being inherently evil I refuse to change my stance on your brother. Just because one as the capacity to love does not mean they are still not evil. Some hollows care about others but that does not mean they are suddenly okay and good. They still devour souls even while caring about others."
It wasn't all that big of a surprise that Elisia agreed to the hollowification as well but it further deepened his hurt. How could he be the only one? Pinching the bridge of his nose he closed his eyes letting the others do what they wanted. Rolling his eyes at Hei uttering useless Lee could not have cared less what he thought. He was the one suggesting such a thing so casual and as far as Lee was concerned the cause of the whole argument right now. Then finally someone who shared his thoughts at least somewhat spoke up in the form of Hibiki. Though even he was willing to accept such ways of gaining power for the others. He just wasn't willing to do it himself out of fear. Sighing again Lee stepped away from them hearing Hibiki's ending statement to Hei and remembering part of his anger towards Hei was not unfounded. Why couldn't things ever just be simple anymore? Why couldn't they go back to it simply being Shinigami against Hollow to save the Living World?
Then Lee got the foreboding feeling again as Hei spoke up about making his choice for him. Surely he wasn't going to force this on those against it? Hearing the word Shundō come from Hei's mouth Lee stepped towards Hibiki with the intention of intercepting the man. Deep down Lee knew it would be impossible to do so however balled his hand into a fist anger radiating of him for a moment. "What are you doing?!" Stopping himself from moving forward and stopping Hei for the mere reason that Lee knew what the result would be. Damn Hei. Turning to Yuki Lee narrowed his eyes. "You were saying Yuki? How can you defend him when he does things such as this. While I may be willing to accept that on their own hollow powers are not necessarily evil I still refuse to accept a change of view on Hei for this very reason. He is a sociopath and until I am proven wrong through others means despite what you say about him caring I will never believe it. Think of me what you will."
Looking back to Hei as he spoke his name Lee was torn about what to do. He should kill him right? Hibiki wouldn't want to live like this right? Catching Hideki looking at him Lee scoffed and moved forward sliding his Zanpakuto out. Holding it so that it was hovering directly above Hibiki ready to be pushed through the delicate skin Lee hesitated. Why couldn't he bring himself to end his suffering? Nami spoke to him about it being wrong though was it? 'I am saving him from a fate worse than death with my actions right? Why must such a fate be thrust upon him? This is exactly the reason why Hei needs to be supervised. I don't care what Yuki says. He. Is. Evil.' Willing his hand to push the kissaki straight through Lee continued to find himself unable to do it. 'Hibiki will just become like Hei in the end if it continues like this I should end it all.'
Hand shaking he lowered the blade and let it fall from his hands unable to end his comrade's life over something out of either of their control. 'No Lee he has the capacity to be the same person. Just because he undergoes hollowification doesn't mean he will turn evil. You and I both know Yuki is right and it is the person that determines whether a power is good or evil. Now bind him.' Looking up he raised both his hands up and cleared his throat his voice holding a determined tone. "Bakudō number ninety-nine Part 2 Bankin, First song Halting Fabric, Second song hundred linked bolts." Watching as Hibiki was covered in head to toe with spiritual fabric that was then stabbed with nails to keep it in place and perhaps harm Hibki a little it was necessary. Such a thing wouldn't kill Hibiki though the added support the nails offered would be more than enough to keep him binded. It wasn't the strongest binding spell for no reason. Bending down and picking his zanpakuto back up he sheathed it. "I have hope that he will not become the same person as Hei through the transformation." Sending a final glare at Hei he found himself powerless to stop the man from doing this. He had to at least make sure everyone was given a chance.
(What good is a thread without some long a** character development from Lee? scream )

xxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx【 SUZUME CHIYOKO 】 xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxLoneliness hit me suddenly, xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxbut it’s only t h e n that I realized, xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxafter all that I have ever DREAMED of, xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxI really don’t like F I G H T I N G ✿✿✿ Suzume watched with wide eyes as Hei appeared, before continuing on to berate most of their Captains on their apparently terrible performance. Shrinking back although she was unlikely to be noticed much or paid attention to, her only visible reaction to the revealing of the orb was a small, barely audible gasp. She knew it roughly, from tales and stories she had heard. It was apparently the one that turned Shinigami into Vizards…or Hollows, in a way. Inside, however, she was fuming and seething. While she understood about the fact that the Captains needed to gain power as soon as possible, it was still absolutely crazy to use such a thing like that. It was absurb! Luckily enough for her, she didn’t need to voice her thoughts at all or pose any sort of opposition, since her Captain and then Hibiki argued the point. Her head whipped back and forth as she attempted to keep up with what everyone was saying. However, she had a feeling that this was all going to be useless, since Hei would most likely get what he wanted one way or another. “I agree with my Captain, this is not a good idea at all…” she whispered back to Tadashi, in response to his question, “What do you think?”
Seeing Hei forcefully change Hibiki to a Vizard made her catch her breath in fright. She had thought he would attempt something like that, but it was still unexpected in a way, since she had thought that he would at least have waited for a bit before suddenly going to do something like that. Casting a worried look to her Captain, who would, understandably, be caught between two choices, she nervously twiddled her thumbs until he finally chose to give Hibiki a chance. From now on, she realized, there was going to be no opposition anymore, since the other Captains seemed to give in and accept it, Lee had given Hibiki a chance and Hibiki himself was in no condition to argue anything.

 Tadashi Sakamoto
9th Division Lieutenant Tadashi immediately grabbed his zanpakuto upon seeing what Hei was doing to Hibiki. However, the impulse to charge forward wore off when he realized Hei was going to get what he wanted one way or another. Also, Tadashi wasn't even opposed to the idea of using the Hogyoku to augment their powers. He didn't understand why some would refuse such power in fear of being 'impure'. Of course, he himself had dealt with the same morals issue with Tenma before he had accepted the zanpakuto's madness as his own. So, simply hoping that Hibiki would be a successful guinea pig, the Lieutenant watched on as the process continued.
"I think...that so long as we remain sane, this is exactly what we require now," answered Tadashi honestly.

⋆⋆⋆∥ HAKASE xELISIA ☇【 yonbantaixTAICHO 】 Elisia inwardly kicked herself several more times, as Tsukiko took responsibility for the both of them. Why couldn’t she do something like that? She really did spend too much time in thoughts, not being able to speak out her mind or say anything that she really wanted to. However, her rant at herself was interrupted by yet another person’s angry voice – Hibiki this time. It seemed like he was siding with Lee in a way and the particular choice of words and his tone made her cringe in fear. While she didn’t know much about Hibiki, she didn’t doubt that, for one reason or another, Hei would have known how Hibiki, along with the rest of them, would have reacted. Anxiously casting her gaze as Hei finished saying something about how he had made his choice, she blinked twice as she noticed the fact that he was no longer there. Her eyes skimmed over the nearby area, only to see him right next to Hibiki, using the Hōgyoku to change Hibiki. Had Hei gone absolutely stark mad?! While she understood the necessity to get power, it was still different to forcing it upon someone who didn’t want it. She lurched forward, before stopping herself. There was nothing that she could do and interfering would be pointless, bringing only more problems upon herself, Tsukiko and the others. Lee was the only one who could make a choice now and she glanced at him briefly, before averting her gaze as she didn’t wish to pressure Lee into doing anything. It was his decision, not matter how much he might dislike it.
However, she couldn’t resist peeking out of the corner of her eye to see what he had decided and the sight of him holding the blade above Hibiki’s head made her blood run cold. While she knew that Lee held his opinion high of what Shinigami should be, she was still shocked by the fact that he would even consider killing his own comrade. Perhaps in Lee’s eyes, Hibiki was no longer a comrade, but merely another Hollow in a way. Closing her eyes so that she wouldn’t hinder his decision, she crossed her fingers, desperately wishing for Lee to not have to do that. Her fears were assuaged soon after though, as she heard him casting the Bakudo spell. Letting her breath out in one rush, she uncrossed her fingers, her eyes wary on Hibiki. While there wasn’t much she could do at the moment, she unsheathed her zanpakuto, whispering, “Take flight, Huang,” as she activated her Shikai. As soon as she had finished that, she began to siphon off the pain from Hibiki, taking away as much physical pain as she possibly could. Although she wanted to take away the emotional pain, she was unsure of whether that would interfere with his Hollowfication process. Of course, she had little idea at all about how this worked, so she was playing this by ear. Continuing to take the pain away, she murmured under her breath in a soft voice, “I’m sorry that this is the most I can do for you, Kirisho-Taichō.” Now, she could do no more and it was up to Hibiki now, to submit to his Hollow or finally defeat. All she could do was hope and pray that he would turn out for the good side, especially since she didn’t want to have to see yet another comrade die. ▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬

Yokozuki Nekkyo
------Sanbantai Taichou It's a good thing he didn't pull the secret string
-----Which reveals a secret compartment Containing one
----------Embarrassing picture of sponge bob at the Christmas party.→---- Yokozuki was still standing by the door, the floor creaked as he slowly approached the interior of what he thought to be the current location of the other beings of Seireitei, though, upon a full inspection of the apartment, he soon found that the only living things were himself and the other existing micro organisms to small for the eye to see. He soon went relaxed, hunching over slightly in annoyance to the situation, how had he misinterpreted where they were? It was clear they hadn't been here for a while. "Of all the things.." He went to the nearest window, looking outside into the sky, he closed his eyes for a minuet before picking up a familiar presence, the Captain Commanders, though he himself had next to no interactions with the woman, he could still recognize her presence at least. He tapped his fingers along the grip of his sword, as if impatiently waiting for something. He looked around the apartment one last time before making for the door, closing it gently, he soon disappeared back into the hallway, down the dusty and unfaltering stairs, and back outside. Once he revealed himself again back onto the street, he looked up, the roof was where they were, how could he have mistaken that? "If I didn't know any better, I'd say my senses were completely off, how could a Captain make such an obviously idiotic mistake, ridiculous." He was quite annoyed with himself, but given the situation, there were more important things to deal with besides his obvious lack in directional sense. He appeared suddenly on the edge of the roof, now seeing those whom he had been searching for, he gave a slight sigh of disappointed in himself. "Seems I'm even more rusty then I first thought, but times a waisting." He made his way over to the party of people, he could feel some tension amongst them, though, them he didn't know any, however, fortunately for Yokozuki, he wasn't timid, forcefully making his presence known was something he did best and something he rather enjoyed, though he was taking the high road to not welcome any unfriendly gestures or comments. At the sight of Lee and Hibiki's confrontation, Yokozuki couldn't help but wonder how they had come to such a grievous situation, he was late on the matter, and intercepting the argument he had no intentions on doing. "Have we really come to such outlandish behavior between each other?" He muttered this to himself, though he wouldn't have been surprised if it was over heard, he merely crossed his arms, tucking his hands into either sleeve, wondering what the outcome would be, and hoping someone would familiarize him on the situation at hand.[You'll all just have to forgive me, I'm trying my best, I really am]─── ─── ───

Tetsunosuke Harasawa Sixth Division's Captain ◥ The Rokubantai's delayed Senkaimon opened to a flutter Jigokuchō leading out of it first. Blood had tripped onto his white tabi and the expression on his face was of emotional affliction. The stagnant human world air quickly filled his first inhale from the gate; the doors cluttered and clanged shut -the Hell Butterfly had already left him- while he stepped out onto the roof. His hand flinched as drew the left appendage to eye height. The pain was not comparable to the pain he felt inside; to him, this cut was a pulled hair. He cast his hand back down as the blood was clotting more slowly due to the position; the cut started at the bottom of his palm and the gash was deepest there; it continued up his hand all the way to the tip of his index finger, the cut got shallower the further it got from his palm. For now, he didn't seek healing for it. The self employed Gentei Reiin appeared on the left side of his neck. He could feel his powers drop to just twenty percent of their norm. It quickly blended it with his skin and was lost to normal carnal sight.
Tetsunosuke had arrived before Yuki, though he didn't make his arrival note worthy. He simply sank off to a secluded area of the roof top to just be by himself and to collect himself. Tetsunosuke sensed when Yuki had stepped through into the Human World, but he didn't fret over it. He kept his melancholy demeanor, facing away from the crowd to look out onto the town.
When Tsukiko had returned to the apartment, he saw she had something with her. It ended up turning out to be Ciel. His expression didn't change as he listened to her comment about his bravery. Hei's abrupt awakening wasn't unexpected; just Yuki's pregnancy. Something he'd never thought he would hear. He shook his head and finally looked towards everyone and leaned against the raised side of the roof, treating it as if it were a leaning post. Hei's talkativeness was very out of character for him, though, his slanderous comments weren't. When he commented on Tetsunosuke's sword play, he couldn't much argue with him at the time. And a loud retort would just be inappropriate. He continued listening... something that seemed hard for him as of this moment. What came next was a shook, Hei suggested that some of the present Shinigami undergo Hollowfication. While he never let pride stop him from anything, Tetsunosuke could only think of the inner struggle he'd be burdened with for the rest of his natural existence. Lee's reply was expected, Tetsunosuke already knew how Masashi Lee felt about Hei's Vizard abilities. Hideki, acting like the brown noser to Hei that he was, offered to be the first to undergo this trail of sorts. The orb Hei was holding was very unnatural, it did not seem like something of Shinigami nor Hollow nature; but something all of its own. Tetsunosuke took a few steps forward so he could better see what it was that Hei was holding. He watched one as Hideki moved toward his former Captain.
There was so much drama and arguing now, that Tetsu was almost tempted to just leave them to their stupid bickering and go inside to the apartment; but curiosity got the best of him as he shifted his weight to continue watching, and ignoring everyone else besides Hei and his device. The enitre world seemed to go gray and dull around Tetsunosuke, a chilly feeling of death crawled up his spine as he watched the world turn into slow motion. "Sakuzen Kosshi... didn't we just deal with each other not to long ago? I am seriously not in the mood." He said softly as the Zanpakuto was there after he blinked his eyes. "The last I checked, I wasn't just some thing that you called upon when you, Harasawa Tetsunosuke, needed. You're thinkin' about it... Oohohoh... I know you are... it's a temptation, tis it not? Hollowfication, one of the ultimate Taboo for Shinigamis." The Zanpakuto spirit walked around him, circling as it looked Tetsu in the eyes. Tetsunosuke cocked his head to the side to look away with furrowed brows. "You're not here where I am. You are NOT me. You've no idea what I AM going through! You're just a byproduct when I became a Shinigami." Tetsunosuke gritted his teeth at Sakuzen when he spoke. He looked it in the eyes when it had finally stopped walking to the right of him. "Ya stupid filthy ignoramus!! You act as if I don't feel sorrowful for Kurihara's death?! Stop acting high and mighty. You ain't me either, bub." The spirit walked toward him slowly, its hollowed out eye sockets couldn't show emotion, but its voice did. "You're a b*****d. You deserve to have someone close to you die! You need to wake up!!!! Dang it..." The spirit was emotional with its words, showing body emotion as well. "Tetsunosuke!! I don't want to lose you too." It blurted out. "Mostly because I don't want to die either... but... we're one. I know you... and I know you know me." It brought its hands up to its rotting chest cavity. Sakuzen Kosshi was done with Tetsunosuke as it disappeared from his sight and the world came too around him.
Hibiki had just had Hei's weird orbs thrusted toward him. The sonic boom that was sent through the air billowed what was left of his pants and his hair. His widened eyes along with his gaped mouth were his outward facial expression. "What the..." He murmured aloud as his eyes dilated. "HEI!! What the heck is your deal! You can't just do this to people who don't want this!!! You've cross the line this time..." Tetsunosuke quickly took Sakuzen Kosshi in hand with his right hand and took steps toward Hei. He brought the sword up to chest height, point straight toward Hei; he moved his left hand up to grip it as well moving his feet to a supportive position. Blood had started to pour from his left hand again due to his grip. Tetsunosuke had forgotten his limiter was still in place as he readied himself to take Hei on. He charged forward with a quick dash along with a slash at Hei's closes leg; only aiming to handicap him. He took the quick swipe, with enough force to destroy tendons like the were nothing.
