After a short amount of time, gold Star emerged from a clothing store with two large shopping bags in her hands. A smug little smirk was wrapped around her dark painted lips. Well...she didn't steal anything, now did she? And she still had quite a bit of money left over thanks to selling off those diamonds.
She was just about to teleport herself back over to her new school when something caught her eye at a bus stop not to far from her. There were three people siting at it. Two girls, one guy. They looked familiar for some reason. She knew she'd never seen them before. But still....

"Oh!" she suddenly said to herself. They were Parker's friends! That's how she knew them. What were they doing here in Gotham though? This place certainly wasn't safe for at least two of them.

Staring at them a moment longer, Star smirked a bit and wandered over towards the bus kiosk.

[Enter Firestar and Utlimate Spider-Man from Surrounding Area of New York]

Firestar continued to follow Spidey toward Arkham Asylum from the air surrounding by a ambr glowing nimbus.

Deciding that it would be better to find transportation elsewhere, Otto abandoned the truck and began making his way through the maze of alleyways. He kept himself elevated from the ground with his arms. This way he was both safe from whoever may be down there, and he could move faster.
Perhaps before he found some other means of travel...he should find some clothes that actually fit him. There should be something around here.

Gold Star walked up to the side of the bus stop and set her bags down on the ground. She looked at the three teenagers with a small smile. "Hi."

The three looked back at her but before any of them could say anything, Kong piped up. "Hey. Do you know how to get back to New York from here?"

Star smiled, though it had a smug curl to it. "I do, but not by bus. Where are you needing to go?" she asked.

The three looked at each other a moment. "Manhattan." Gwen replied.

"That's easy then." Star said, then stopped and glanced back a moment. Her face became a bit worried as she scanned a few alleys around them.

"How do we get there?" Kong asked.

Kitty kept quiet, noting the sudden change of behavior in the other girl. Something was up.

"I've....I've got my own way." she replied a bit uneasily, turning back twoards the three. "Quicker, safer, eco-friendly, and you don't have to spend a dime."

"Come on, come on," Spidey muttered under his breath. Gone were the acrobatic tricks; he was aiming purely for speed right then. He zipped over various alleyways and past several minor crimes in progress without so much as slowing down to have a look.

Firestar easily kept up with Spidey, "Are you sure you don't want me to carry you? It'll be faster."  

[Elesariin]

"Hey!" Spidey cried, indignant, "I beat Johnny Storm's a** in a race EVERY WEEK, I'll have you know."

((It's true. Spidey's webslinging is faster than you would think.))

Firestar chuckled, "Oh really? Hmmmmm... I guess you can't handle being close to me, huh?"

"Um... seeing as you're on fire... yeah." He picked up the pace even further, hoping that he wasn't heading where he thought he was heading. "... You never read the old Batman comics, did you?"

Angelica looks at Spidey cockeyed, "Not really. Whyyyyyyyyy?"

"... Because I think we're headed towards Arkham Asylum," he admitted reluctantly, his eyes focusing in on a dark, mansion-like building in the distance. It seemed to be on some sort of island...

Firestar had a puzzled look on her face as she followed Spiderman.

With no opposition, Otto Octavious easily made his way through the city and towards New York.

Before any of the teenagers could continue the conversation much further, Star suddenly jumped and spun around towards the alley way. There was nothing there, but, she sensed another wave of thought. Rambled thoughts. But they had been directed towards them again.
Before she could figure out exactly where the person who had the thoughts was at... the roof of the bus kiosk buckled with a sudden smash. All three teenagers jumped half out of their skins and hurried out from under the thing. Kitty half phasing them of course.
All four teenagers whirled around to see just what exactly had happened.
And then just....stared.

Jinx noticed the sudden change from Central City to Gotham, Wow, the world's really messed up. Maybe that's why they didn't respond...

Jinx used the comm's GPS patched into the Robincycle's main display to guide her. Soon she began to take a two-way road along the rocky seaside well outside the city limits...

It was finally done; the Comrad bots were finally online. These machines were designed after the Sentinels, made specifically to fight against meta humans and their non-mutant counterparts. Unlike the original Nimrod, Comrads could not regenerate their bodies, but possessed the same abilities for energy projection, teleportation, and mechanical adaption. As well as strengths, Comrads were weak the elemental damage like the original. The Comrad units activated in the outside area of Gotham City, where their launch pad was located on the ocean floor. As they activated, the Comrads awaited word from their creator, the Commissar. The Foreman Comrad analyzed the surrounding areas, like New York, Gotham City, and San Francisco using several drones. Data from New York yielded the results the Foreman Comrad needed.

The Foreman turned to the currently activated regiment of Comrads, all idle and waiting for command. During base shut down, the Foreman was programmed to carry out plans in case of specific situations and judging by the data from new York, analyzing the Commissar's various situation programs began. The Foreman's eyes went blank and numerous bits of code fluttered down through these eyes. Upon several minutes, the solution was found. The Foreman Comrad sent the data to each of the Comrad units and they were given specific orders. Thirty Comrads would secure Gotham City, five would secure the Xavier Institute for the Gifted, and the rest -containing ten other Comrads- would stay here to maintain the headquarters.

The hatch above the cylinder room opened, the mechanical doors leading to the room sealed as sea water from above started to pour in by the gallons. The designated Comnrads went about their duties, using their propulsion systems to take off out of the launch bay and into the ocean, then surfacing in mass quantities from the ocean. The ten Comrads tasked with staying at the base remained, the doors above closing as the sea water drained out of the room. Almost immediately, the remaining Comrads went through the mechanical doors and began their work.
