tierkries didn't even have major battles or duel's all it had were shitty a** 4 on 2-3 monster fights, a pathetic plot line that seems to have come out of a 4 yr olds mouth, (was goign to say something else there) and nothing about it besides the ability to recruit 108 people, was suikoden. o and i'm not going to say a word about that bs cd set or the pachislot. sry not going to go ther

Sorry you feel that way, bro. I wasn't fond of Tierkreis myself - it's rather generic, no? - and the pachislot doesn't interest me much because I can't even play it, but I'm down with the CD set. I love Suikoden's music.

i do too, but considering that konami apparently thinks that music is going to make all the suiko fans happy then i can honestly say that konami apparentlydoesn't care

With the Suikoden music, I have it on my phone, and I'll listen to the upbeat ones while I walk down to the bus stop for school in the morning. Although I only have the S2 soundtrack, I wanna get S5, all the rest aren't important for me, S1 is like S2, S3 I've never heard, and I don't remember S4 so therefore it didn't make too much an impression on me then, lol.
But really, it is a very cheap way to try and amuse suikoden fans. It is like saying "We are going to release a new Stargate SG-1 product!"(SG-1 series is finished, I think they might be working on a movie, not sure, but anyway) and it turns out to be a box set of all the season.
If it was a remake/conversion of the games in a bundle all of the main ones, and they all worked for PS2 or PS3 whatever, that would be much better. So many would love that if you ask me.

Guys, I just report the news. Maybe we'll have something new, too, by the 15th. I don't know.
S3's soundtrack is honestly my least favorite, and I'm not fond of 5 beyond the Limited Edition LP they gave out with preorders. S4's music, however, is fantastic and easily the best thing about the game.

I agree with Lyle there.
Anyway, with the S5 music, I guess it made an impression on me because it reminded me often of S2, like before a few battles, the song would be what I think is a remake of "Moonlit Night Theme". Easily one of my all time favourite suikoden track.
But yeah, Konami is failing right now, and we do need something Suikoden related that isn't just a music compile, or a machine that has things related to Suikoden(I actually don't know what a pachislot machine is sweatdrop ). Sorry, I guess I can get worked up about things like this.

A pachislot machine is a gambling machine that's popular in Japan. From what I can tell it's like a slot machine mixed with pinball.

I was browsing Suikosource's New Suikoden Trademark thread. Turns out the potential new trademark has been abandoned.

To quote another person in the thread: "And thus ends that last glimmer of hope for a new game coming out soon."

Granted, the folks who dropped the trademark were Konami of America. Konami JP still has the trademark for Genso Suikoden. In fact, in less depressing news, Konami JP is in fact re-releasing a few Suikoden V manga one-shots on the 10th. It's not new content, but it's something! SOURCE: Jeuxvideo.com: Un spin off de Suikoden V en mangaAdditionally, there's been quite the buzz the past few days over at the Suikosource forums. A few enthusiastic fans have actually taken to emailing some people at Konami. Specfically, Rooks and KC_MCDOHL; these two have gone above and beyond in their efforts to reach Konami on all fronts. I say applaud these two guys, and if you can try to follow their examples. Go check out Ashietaka's thread " It's time to Ask Konami about Suikoden 6". Their efforts, particularly KC_MCDOHL's are on page two.

Ah, so THAT'S what's going on! rofl I got the idea to pester Konami on their Facebook page somewhere else and I was surprised I got so many people liking my comments! xD
I think it's kind of hilarious to just click on their page at random and always see someone asking them about S6 heart
