She's a whiny crybaby? confused She's not really, although they make her that way in the anime. She has so many more facets in the manga. You also have to remember she is a thirteen year old girl who suddenly has this destiny thrust upon her.
Same goes for Rei, to whoever said she was 'a beeotch'. That is not how the creator intended her to be. In the manga she is serene, composed and elegant; the true embodiment of a shrine maiden. She distrusts men because all of the men in her life have hurt or left her... including her father. She has an incredible bond with Usagi and on the moon kingdom she vows her chastity to her, (she has also been linked to romancing female characters.) She may seem a little aloof, but that's only because of her duties as a miko and her extrasensory powers, she is certainly not a b*tch. I really hate how the anime ruined such a beautiful character.

I really hate how the anime ruined such a beautiful character. yeah agreed, mars wasn't intended to seem mean at all... she's just a really powerful character (and by far my favorite in the manga, anime and live action).
