XDDD megaphone razz

Well Jack's on his way lol
Also smile I have a suggestion 3nodding

Since we have the appearance of the Trod Pod or TP as type of transport, I can see other things appearing around the place.
How about an RP glossary on the front page somewhere?

Because I had to traul through posts to find out what a TP was xD

Does the White sector being on lockdown affect the the rest of the city or is the White sector the only one largely affected at the moment?

I think it was just the admin compound, so that'd be... just the white sector?
PostPosted: Tue Aug 10, 2010 1:58 pm

Hmm... I guess that means everyone else in the other sectors will still be going on about their usual lives... for now...

You know, I still don't know what a trod pod is! A glossary doesn't sound like too bad an idea either, but will it fit on the front page?

@Deg: The others are right, it's only the White sector that's being affected by the lockdown, but there are some repercussions. For one, this is going to be on the news, and everyone is going to be making fun of the Admins after this. I mean, really.
PostPosted: Tue Aug 10, 2010 2:17 pm

Glossary sounds like a good idea. I don't know where you would want to put it, but if the front page is too crowded... maybe you can edit it into one of your first page posts here and just provide a link to it.

Wow. Yeah, a lot of people are probably gonna be like... "LOL-Admins," or "WTF-Admins."

Oh, and I know this is probably still far off, but would it be possible for the city to bump (hopefully not literally) into the other cities around the world? It could be possible that some if them hold a piece to the puzzle. I'm just speculating.

Entirely possible. There are a few cities on land (which is hard to come by) and a few floating on the water like lilypads.

Because, face it, an underwater city (like the ruins from the first Jak and Daxter game) WOULD BE EPIC.
PostPosted: Tue Aug 10, 2010 2:57 pm

XD I like that idea too razz
I mean Klox city is moving yeah? and I'm sure the floating cities don't jut hang around all the time.
Actually, if all these cities were moving they might be in contact with each other ninja so they don't litterally bump into each other XD Cause thinking like ships, does it not take an oil tanker like half its journey to stop?

Degenerate: A backsies moment? Perhaps... Actually E2 sounds pretty good. Hmm... let's see what Talon thinks. I have absolutely no clue what you could possibly mean by trolling... *cough*

Eylios: Guess we'll see if that megaphone works on Elliot and Armand.

Giyari: Oh, moving cities sound nice. Since Warlock is so dysfunctional, maybe one of the little episodes could be about crashing cities (over the x number of posts that we mentioned in that other thread)
PostPosted: Tue Aug 10, 2010 3:47 pm

The no backsies moment being Armand giving her the task of fixing the problems. So he would dump all the responsibility on her, and say something along the lines of "No backsies!" Of course, that will annoy her even more...

Perhaps not all the cities are friendly though. Some may be hostile, and then some sort of skirmish happens, or a war breaks out.

I haven't heard that "backsies" word in a while. Sounds like something from Lilo & Stitch except I'm pretty sure it was punch buggy there.

Hmm... someone showed me an anime or manga of some sort that you just reminded me of. I think it was called Chrome Shelled Regios or something similar to that. I'm not sure of the spelling. There were some massive bug monsters in it, and all the cities were in domes that walked.
PostPosted: Tue Aug 10, 2010 4:10 pm

And like because Warlock controlled Klox cities movement, it is actually warlock that decided when to stop at other cities?

Thinking of all these cities moving around and the fact that this is obviously not earth it's highly likely that theres a complex satelite navigation in place. So even though land is hard to come by everyone probably knows where it is lol ninja

AND maybe it's not that no one knows where the floating cities are but more that everyone else doesn't know where Klox is because warlock totally hides it and s**t like the big ninja that it is razz

Damn, must be a b***h if you bought something at a city stop off and years later you need a replacement part... but you like never know when you'll meet up with the city again xD

Yes, Klox City actually has a flight path! It's not a permanent set one, but Warlock moves the city as needed to avoid dangerous weather, such as typhoons and extremely powerful storms, and strong jetstreams.

Which is really quite a feat, considering that the city is very tall, so piloting something the large and that awkwardly shaped must be fun....

I don't know about a war per se breaking out in the tradition sense.... A hacking war, sure. And the sea cities probably have navies, and the land cities have armies, but Klox is so isolated geographically, that it doesn't really have much of a military. Not one that focuses on fighting other militaries, at least.

*ninjas into the thread*

Hmm, a nickname for robot Elliot would be best for real Elliot's nerves... Not that Armand has any care for those. rolleyes

@ Scythe
Hmm... haven't heard of that anime/manga, but the dome thing reminds me of the Big O. An anime whose ending that I and many others still don't understand to this day.

@Giyari
Well, if diplomacy with another city fails to get a spare part or something... there's always other... more underhanded methods for the right price. *cough*

Added:
@Eylios
Upon contact, one of the cities may send in a team of their own to investigate how the city works. Or, they might try to sabotage the city--yikes.
