GS Will Sapphire sweatdrop she is on the side of evil, she even uses some of the powers of he dark side, neutral is kinda defeated by that, so being neutral provides no fun. The power is not evil. It's how you use it. For example, if I knew necromancy and had the power to use it, would it be evil to use said power to use zombies to kill murderers (especially the child murderers)

Senorita Se Comporta GS Will Sapphire Not really, just be against Ruby no matter what side she is on, is that clear enough? Oh, so like if Ruby's good, she's evil. If Ruby's evil, she's good? That might work for her temporary goodness. Shades of Xanth novels here. XD Specifically Chameleon. Don't make her fully good. Find a stronger evil that forces her to side with her foes, which are good, until she defeats that evil. Actually, did you know that people with multiple personality disorder almost strictly always develop more than two? (I know someone who had to treat a girl with six.) Just throwing that in there, in case you want to use it. And hey, what's wrong with an all-evil Senshi team, anyway? We need more villains! evil (I also need to log in as Chyroptera more... >.>; )

TS Sailor Cronus Oh, so like if Ruby's good, she's evil. If Ruby's evil, she's good? That might work for her temporary goodness. That seems kind of off for the SM universe. Evil is never treated as a force unto itself. In the manga, we learn that Chaos (the driving force behind all of the bad guys) wasn't evil incarnate, but an entity that had been driven to do terrible things because of its own loneliness. Quote: Shades of Xanth novels here. XD Specifically Chameleon. Chameleon's talent was essentially a woman's monthly cycle taken to the extreme with magic. The idea of two characters who are eternally diametrically opposed sounds more like classical dualism to me. Quote: And hey, what's wrong with an all-evil Senshi team, anyway? We need more villains! We also need "evil" Senshi who aren't card-carrying villains.

Well Pallapalla became good after she realized she was tricked by Queen Nehelenia and that she was really a Senshi.
...
so all we need to do is get Queen Nehelenia to trick you D: then you'll be good.

GS Sailor Pallas Well Pallapalla became good after she realized she was tricked by Queen Nehelenia and that she was really a Senshi. And in the anime, the Ayakashi sisters switched sides after they realized their superiors saw them as disposable. The first one to go like this was Kooan, when Rubeius shattered her self-made delusions that he was in love with her and was going to frakking KILL HER.

It really should be what you think your character would justify as a reason for converting.
Okay, that was confusing, let me try again.
Characters have their own feelings. As authors, we should give them room to change and expand. It isn't so much as saying they should change, as asking them if they want to change. Or, asking them what type of life event would cause them to change.
Converting from evil to good or good to evil are really just two sides of the same coin. They both depend on the motivation and goals of your character. A person changes alliances to best suit their need to advance toward their goals.
As has been said, love is certainly a justifiable goal, and it applies to both types of conversion, whether to ally with the side your love is on, or to ally with the other side to protect him or her (a trade-off of some sort, usually associated with joining the villain to save someone's life, though I suppose it could work the other way).
There are many other goals that could cause an alignment shift. So really you should first ask your character what their goals are.
