Shivering violently and dripping wet, Morana was barely paying attention. In fact, she laid down before she could collapse. She had jumped the last part of the obstacle course without thinking, but now that the adrenaline rush is fading, she felt horrible. She could literally feel her inner fire waver and falter, as if the water was making its way through her fur and skin to put it out. Houndours just weren't built to be dumped in water. Several times.

Altus stroked her gently as Solaris read out the scores.

"Hey, you hear that Morana? A perfect mark! You did great." He told her gently, trying to cheer her up. She only nodded slightly in response. Altus, though he was trying to comfort the Houndour, was worried for her.

Incultyr glanced at Morana briefly, and decided it was best they get this over with and head back to their room so poor Anna could recover. Incultyr glanced around at the mercenaries, and with a shrug, strode up to Jasper. "I'll take you on." It's not like Incultyr to have challenged anyone except the strongest (and he assumed the Raichu is, if he's leading all the others).

Altus looked over to Incultyr, shook his head at the crazy Larvitar's choice. He glanced down at Morana with concern, the Raichu's words clearly in his memory. He would like to get an exemption for Morana if he could...but...

Altus looked over to the pink Weavile, and sighed. "Anna, how about her? She's ice type, so you have a bit of an advantage." he suggested. She looked over at the Weavile, gave the tiniest of a squeak for an answer, and then hid her head under her paws. She had a headache, and the light hurt, and she really didn't want to think. She especially didn't want to think about fighting these scary Pokemon. Altus took it as a yes, and he himself stepped over to the dark-coloured Persian. He bowed to her and introduced himself before quickly going back to Morana's side.

Incultyr had come back at this point, and he looked at Morana with concern.

"You know what? If any of those mercenary jerks even scratches her, I'm gonna-" Incultyr made a violent motion. Altus and Incultyr helped Morana stand up, who murmured her thanks.

Altus couldn't help but agree (kinda, just in a lot less violent way). Hopefully, this'll be easier on her than the obstacle course. She wouldn't be nearly in the state she was if they had gotten anything except a water area.

((So...Incultyr -> Jasper, Morana -> Lucy, and Altus -> Truth

Question: I had a Pokemon join the team the day after this happened. Would she be required to fight as well?

Answer: Nope! Dont worry about it, only the Pokemon who participated in part one have to do part two! ;3

Blade simply stayed where he was, standing beside Solaris and looking off into space impassively. His mind was clearly elsewhere, but who knew what he was thinking about...

A small smile crossed Jonah's face as he noticed a few Guild pokemon apparently singling him out to fight, while Zaru simply rolled his eyes at his challengers. Bunch of kids, wouldn't be too much of a challenge...
"Stop being so grouchy," Jonah remarked, interrupting his brooding, "Honestly, you're turning into Jasper."
This at least lured a chuckle out of the Infernape, and the pair simply continued to wait for the signal that they could leave.




When their next instructions to choose an opponent were read out, Cael's eyes immediately fell on that annoying Raichu leader, but before he could so much as move there was already practically a swarm of pokemon around Jasper, all wanting to fight him, so that was kind of out as a choice. Great, well he'd just have to pick someone else... Uh... Oh, how about that Skarmory, didn't look like anyone was fighting her yet.
Comfortable with his choice, the Pikachu strolled off without waiting for the others; he wanted to go be by himself for a little bit anyway, and he wasn't in the mood to wait for anyone.

Cerberus took a little longer in choosing an enemy, frowning around for a minute before finally deciding on a Jumpluff who had just flown off, not seeing many others going after her either. After all, who'd want to just go along with the crowd and gang up on one of the mercenaries? Not him at least.

Last of all to leave was Tavian, who was finding it even more tricky to decide on an opponent; he didn't want to fight someone with a zillion challengers already, but he also would prefer to give himself at least some sort of fighting chance. After a minute his gaze finally fell on a strangely-marked Persian, and he figured that might as well be a promising choice. The Riolu turned, and realizing that the rest of his team had already wandered off, left in another direction to do some thinking of his own.




Blinking, Elmo looked around slowly as the Raichu made another speech, effectively baffled by everything he was saying. Points? They had been graded in that forest place? Gosh, it hadn't realized it had done the wrong thing by simply talking it's way through the course, but at least now it knew it was supposed to fight.
The Beldum hesitated and cast it's eye thoughtfully over the various mercenaries they were supposed to choose from to battle, and it continued looking until it noticed a Lucario in a mask standing in the back. Ah, that guy seemed like a good enough choice, it'd go talk to Rem about everything and maybe get some hints before coming back to fight.

Czar walked towards the training ground; alive and well, however his team could of used a few more minutes of rest, despite this, they're ready to go. Czar looked at Lucy with a confident expression as he moved towards her.

Molly walked up to Mugen, her heart was beating like crazy; she's pretty nervous to fight.

Rita flew towards Zaru as she looked over her teammates, she's going to have a rough time fighting him.

Lucas walked towards Jonah with a tired expression on his face.

Larwn yawned a bit before walking towards to Jasper, he wasn't worried, however he'll need to watch others to see if they're going to be okay. "I'll be joining you guys too." He stood by Jazz and Leslie.
