Ghaniri  NPC | Abomination | Lesser Demon Ghaniri watched anticipatively as the dark spheres flew down. If they connected then it would be the end of Kaizen. Though the demon was not foolish enough to believe that things would end that quickly. He had to prepare himself for three possible scenarios that would result in a counterattack. There was a chance that the boy had a special technique of his own that would overpower his spheres and if such was the case he would have to dodge. Also a possibility, would be some kind of defense or a barrier that would reduce or eliminate damage done to him. And finally, he had to prepare himself in case he was able to somehow reverse his attack. Ghaniri focused closely on his prey as he attempted to ready himself within the very short time that he had. As his attack closed in on him, he thought for sure the boy would be a goner until he caught the scent of another human rushing to their location and jumping in front of the nearly defenseless boy. That could only mean that he was indeed stronger than the boy as the amount of his chakra indicated, because no normal person would jump ahead of an attack that deadly without knowing what they were doing. The possibilities for a reversal increased dramatically, therefore causing the demon to flap his wings and stay "on his toes".
Ghaniri grew wide eyed as he seen his sphere being forced back towards him. What was he getting himself into? Could the man who just arrived truly be that strong? Not to mention the speed that it had to have taken to move that swiftly. In the heat of the action, Ghaniri could only hear two things. The sounds of the massive balls of energy soaring towards him, ripping through the sky, as well as the title of the man who just arrived. Mizukage-dono?...That's him! Trying not be distracted any further, Ghaniri focused on using the distance between the spheres and his aerial state to his advantage. Flapping his wings as he flew forward, the demon began to narrowly maneuver his way past the spheres as most of the others. Although none of the spheres directly hit him, the aura and the power orbiting around the spheres was draining and with each sphere that he passed he began to grow more and more fatigue. The spheres continued to shoot up for a while until they began to descend, detonating on a few of the other huts that were in the vicinity. Dark flames began to swarm around as screams could be heard. Apparently there were still survivors of the demon's zombie attack, or at least there were until his sphere ended their lives.
Wiping the sweat from his forehead, Ghaniri began to pant as he began to realize that his time might be coming to an end. His best bet would be to wound one of his opponents until he could rest or feed again. Storm clouds began to take over the skies as Ghaniri prepared himself for his next technique. "Dark Arts: Chaotic Storm!" This technique was also costly but a necessary evil if he was going to get time to rest. Suddenly, a purple streak of lightning reached from the black sky in a quick flash as it firmly grabbed the earth, twisting and pulling as it ripped a large and deep crater in the ground while simultaneously creating a small shockwave from the impact. More streaks of lightning similar to the one that was just launched began to strike but this time closer to the two men that the demon was targeting. Four streaks came down in total towards them but not directly at them. Instead they came in each cardinal direction of them, in an attempt to leave them with no paths for escape or survival.
Meanwhile Ghaniri began to flap his wings as he flew near the dark flames, hoping to get some shelter or at least think of another plan. If anything he would have to escape to the hive and bring a couple more of his comrades with him. Who would have thought that the Mizukage would come this fast and to this exact location?

Watching the demon carefully, the clone's left eye twitched at the slightest as the flames hit houses of men and women who were yet to be rescued, something Luo had expected already happened. The plague around them was one thing, but the direct death of his villagers was another. Hearing storm clouds ringing in, he watched as a single dark lightning bolt hit the ground a few yards in front of them, the ground trembled for a moment as it cratered, allowing the earth to splinter until reaching Luo's feet.
Holding his ground as it shook, he heard the crackling sound once more. However, this time it came in droves and louder. Jumping to his side, the clone pulled out three kunai at that instance, holding one between each finger of his right hand, his eyes caught sight of the bolt created to cut him off. At the last moment, the clone threw the three kunai, drawing the bolt into arching towards the metal source. As the two collided, Luo flipped backwards into the air, avoiding the initial shockwave.
As a stray sting of electricity shot towards him, he pulled a kunai out of his left pouch this time, catching the stray static as it burned his hands a bit. Watching the demon dart for the house as the quaking around him ceased, the clone darted forward quickly towards him, not daring to lose sight. He seemed to be straying backwards instead of attacking head on, which was strange for something unleashing an attack meant to trap. If he didn't go in for the kill, then why move back? The only answer he could gather was the fight he was already engaged in was wearing him out, and the clone's appearance didn't make it any easier.
Flashing through hand seals, the moist dirt around the demon as well as the wet wood laying about the mist began to seep water, and in rapid succession. After only seconds, the demon was surrounded by an onslaught of water shuriken, a lesser attack for a bigger plot. He would make sure the demon's intentions were made known, or allow it to die trying.
Suiton: Mizu Shuriken no Jutsu (Water Release: Water Shuriken Technique)
Description: Through the use of water manipulation, the user can create multiple small shuriken comprised of water and launch them towards the target. After hitting and/or cutting a solid surface, they revert to water. It is important to note that these shuriken can be physically launched (by hand) or launched as they are created.

Uchiha Bloodline| Mist ANBU Captain| Jonin Commander|Bloody Mist  As LT rounded the corner he saw his mizukage just finish performing a ninjutsu, "Mizukagesama!" LT called out as he seemed to flash and reappear next to Luo, "The infected just seemed to collapse. I think the Medical team found a cure, Mizukagesama." LT knew right off the bat it was a clone but he stilled would defend it. LT tried to find what Luo was looking at but couldn't pin point the mizukages opponent. The enemy must of hid in a building just before he arrived. And so for as a safety precaution LT created a clone and sent it back towards Yama to make sure they were doing something productive and safe.

Even as the bolts of dark lightning pierced the sky, Kaizen was already moving to catch Ghaniri, two of his clones jumping to intercept the bolts that would come closest to hitting Kaizen. Following quickly behind Luo, Kaizen was already beginning to flash through his own hand-seals as his clone moved ahead of him to intercept the abomination. As Luo's water shuriken surrounded Ghaniri, Kaizen's lightning clone moved in close to strike at the abominations torso with its blades. However, Kaizen had no intention of trying to let his clone strike down this demon, flashing through the final hand-seal, Kaizen's eyes shifted to the silvery-blue color of lightning as it pierces the sky as he cried out, "Raikou: Bakuhatsu no Jutsu!"Suddenly the clone would burst in an explosion of electricity, directly in front of Ghaniri.
While Kaizen waited for the smoke to settle and see what had happened to the abomination, LT suddenly arrived, bringing with him news of a cure for the infected. Nodding at his remark, even if it wasn't directed at him, Kaizen muttered to himself, "One less thing to worry about then.""Dreams... what are they but a crutch for those too afraid to forge their own path?" (CP: 37/68 )

(so on the grounds of this thread having been dead for close to two weeks, I'm going to say that Ghaniri escapes to "The Hive" of abominations somewhere in Water Country. Luo, Lt, and Kaizen all returned to Kiri, where Kaizen was able to get medical aid. )
