in my band class its like kinda common to see band students dating band students and if there not dating anymore they would still like be hanging out and giving friendly hugs to each other

my bd doesnt care about the pda rule, except for once he saw a percussionist making out with his clarinetist gf in the band room-not pretty eek
but we are all SUPER close especially before a concert!

Sexay Panda Ha-ha, well me still being in middle school band, we can't really get that close. Plus people consider me a loner, and I don't cuddle with mean people! im in middle school band too so the pda rule doesnt usually have to be enforced, but at times a certain trumpet player (anthony) gets a little too close to people! but its a band thing...were all cool with it

I wish we had a marching band, it sounds like fun!
I don't know if it's only symphonic bands, but we're not that close. I think it has do do with the fact that there are like 10 freshmen and 40 8th graders.... Plus there are only five girls, so you can imagine why we're not that comfortable sitting in each others lap (which we never do)

...My friends and I call each other the thirteensome... And we're all girls. You have no idea how many seductive looks I get (and GIVE) to them. It creeps people out, but they have no idea what they're missing~
There's a rule agianst PDA, but who the (insert foul language of your choice here and make it reallllllly looooonnnnnnggggg) CARES!!!!
We're in band, man! Even the conservative strip on the bus!!!!

We're close too, though we avoid showing any PDA while in uniform because, believe it or not, that's against UIL rules [[Because everyone should show respect to your uniform... >.>']] and we could actually be disqualified from some of the most important competitions that way. Darn rival bands are just looking for a reason to get you out of competition. :/
But while we're not in full uniform, like on the bus and in the band hall and stuff, we're always cuddling with each other and stripping in front of each other and sleeping all over each other. XDD It's funny.

There is a rule against kissing in the stands, but otherwise nobody in our band has any concept of personal space. (Except one of the flute players, but we like to pop her bubble for fun)
Great example: Ever tried to fit 8 band kids, two base drums, the quads, and a sousaphone on a six-seater school van?
We were sardines in there. Hence the conversation:
"What happens in the van, stays in the van"
"What's in the van would like to get out of the van"

My band is TOOOOOOOOOOO close... O.o
lets just say we often yell "HAND CHECK" on bus rides home and theres always someone whocant raise their hands xD and people have lots pants on the bus...Why they were off we dont know sweatdrop

One time, I was getting into my uniform and a guy's head went up my butt.
I've been groped several times (purposely and accidentally).
My friends and I lick, bite, and tickle each other.
My friend laid on me and kept stroking my legs.

In our flute section, it's tradition to stick one's flute up freshman's butts.
My friend pushed my face into some guy's face forcing me to kiss him.
In band...Personal space has no meaning whatsoever.

My freshman year, our spring musical was Pirates of Penzance, which required an add-on to the stage that was a padded pit. We fit about 20 people into a space meant for one with a little room--about our entire pit band plus a few stage crew people. We fondly nicknamed it our "pit orgy." Pretty much that's the gist of our band. We touch each other's asses, we grab people's boobs, we say obscene things like it's a new language.
