Sam smiled at the girl and nodded. "Your welcome." He said to the girl as he leaned against the wall next to the guy on the floor and drinks some more punch from his cup. "...So?... I don't care. Your a person and I'm a person... and person's talk to each other don't they?..." She said, swishing the last of her punch around. She watched the lights flicker around the room. Wondering, she wondered if anyone had noticed she was a girl... she didn't particularly care if anyone noticed... but it would have been fun to play around with peoples brains.OOC: Sam ((she/he looks young I know)) ; [Spazz edit: Instead of just posting a picture, try to describe their appearance within your post, okay? :3]

" i guess people talk to people. but im not a person..... im a demon......" he said quietly as he stands up and walks over to the punch table and gets some punch. he then walks back to his corner and sits down in the corner again. he takes a sip of the punch. he likes the taste of the punch and takes a few more sips. he feels calmer now after drinking some of the punch. maybe he was just low on blood sugar or something. he doesnt feel the urge to leave anymore he actually wants to stay, but he still doesnt want to talk.

"You're a Vampire!?"she heard someone say out loud, and she stared in that direction almost stunned.
"Uh errm..."she stuttered until she noticed that the person wasn't really talking to her. She breathed calmly for a moment and regained her composure before resuming her search for her date.
Eventually she couldn't wait anymore, all these people?! TOO MANY BODIES!?! Come on! This was going to take FOREVER!
"Uhhh, is there anyone here named Rawrshark?" she ventured to ask outloud hoping that she wasn't going out on a limb for nothing and just speaking out like an idiot. She scratched her head a little bit and cursed under her breath knowing once again her impatience got the best of her.

Sam looked up at the girl, then pointed at the boy on the ground without looking away from her. "That 'em?..." He asked calmly. He smiled. "I like your Dress." He complimented her, smiling as he took another sip of punch. She went around her and went to get more punch.[Spazz edit: Try to make it a habit to strive for 2.5 lines at least each time. Eventually, it'll become natural and you won't have to struggle for it :3] OOC: Aye Aye Cap'ain X3 *salutes*

Rawrshark hears his name in somewhere in the crowd. "....... i heard my name" he says to himself as he stands up and looks at the girl who called his name. "could that be Sukai?" he mumbles to hiimself. he starts walking towards her nervously. he hopes that nobody tries to talk to him as he walks towards her. When rawrshark gets about 10 feet away from Sukai he trips on himself and does a face plant. He gets up and doesnt have a scratch on him. he just dusts himself off and continues towards who he thinks is Sukai.

Alexandros spotted the girl from the picture when she walked through the door. He tried not to be too obvious as she came nearby. His pride kept him from wanting to look stupid, especially in front of a girl. So, he played it casual, pretending he hadn't noticed her yet, smirking at the scene still going on around him, occasionally taking another bite of his sandwich. When she came up to him, smoothing out her hair, it seemed, he kept his cool and decided he would let her have the first move. When she addressed him, she sounded shy, unsure of herself. He didn't understand that, but he didn't see a need to make it worse.
Apparently, he'd played it too cool, because another black-haired boy with some white to his 'do, replied to her question. He gave him a confused look, not that the other boy would see it with his back to him. The girl though, Kira was supposed to be her name, shot him down. He almost lost his composure to a fit of laughter when she told him to stop being weird. He managed to get away with a snort, and brought his hand up to his mouth, as if to wipe crumbs away from his mouth, and kept his palm firmly over his mouth to prevent his grin from showing. He liked the way this girl worked.
He didn't feel bad for the boy, he obviously hadn't been the one with whom the dark-haired girl had been trying to strike up a conversation. He gave Rawrshark a snide glance as he slid down to the floor as Kira stepped closer to him. Her apprehension was apparent, but there was nothing she had to fear from Alex, although the big stick he was lugging around with him probably didn't help things much. 'Good going, you idiot. What were you thinking, bringing that thing with you to a formal event?'
He untied the thong of the staff and set the thing against the wall he was closest to, but while he did, another boy came up and struck up some conversation with Kira, too. Alex rolled his eyes and was about to not-so-politely tell the guy to butt out, but the other boy settled down into a conversation with Rawrshark over in the corner of the room. Alex leaned confidently against the wall and steadied his gaze on Kira. "So..." he began, not knowing how to greet her. He hadn't ever made friends before, the only people he had ever been close to was his family, so icebreakers were an unfamiliar concept. 'Might as well just make the first name introductions, right? Right.' He cleared his throat before he spoke up again. "So, I'm Alexandros, and I suppose you're Kira. You look just like your picture, y'know." Heh, this wasn't as hard as Rawrshark wanted to make it. Alex sipped his coke and propped up one foot on the wall behind him, letting an easy smile grace his face.

Kira regarded the two males for a second, the weird one and the one who'd complimented her, and then noted that someone was calling for the first of the two. So, she turned away for the last time, trying not to scoff aloud at the last glare she'd received. Really, did he think he was being tough? At least she could now focus on what she'd originally intended to; her date. Oh... she nearly blushed from using that word. It wasn't a date. It was a way to meet people. Blind dates never worked out in a romantic sense. Besides... could she date someone who had hair longer than her own? She found herself smiling lightly at the thought, but it faded again as she watched him fully.
He was removing the staff, which she couldn't deny she had noticed right off the bat. She wasn't sure if it was a costume, or a real weapon for his powers. Everyone had them here, apparently, which made her feel a bit more at ease about her own. If she were to lose it, then hopefully most people here would be able to control her. But anyway, it was time to focus her mind on the now, not on the 'what if'. And quickly, before another person tried to steal her away.
She watched this new guy, her original target, take an easy stance and let herself try to relax as well, spreading her stance a little and settling her hands back inside her hoodie's pockets. Her head tilted at the word 'so', her ear giving a little twitch and perking up straight. Then as he finished, she let out a little laugh and one of her hands lifted again to tug on her furry ear. "Did my picture have one ear, or two?" Her hand lowered again, and she swayed a little in place. "Yeah, I'm Kira... It's nice to meet you. Sorry I got.. sidetracked. I guess I'm more popular than I thought." She laughed quietly again, looking a little awkward over it. That was such a foreign concept... Her lips parted as if to speak further, closed, then opened to try again. "Well uh... I'll admit, this is.. my first dance."

"That 'em?..." A guy asked also commenting "I like your Dress."
Sukai followed his hand towards a guy who was getting up from the corner. She watched him as he moved towards her slowly and then ended up tripping on herself. At this she fought a gentle laugh noticing that he was just as klutzy as her. She watched him pick himself up and continue walking towards her.
"Thanks," she said to the guy who had already wandered over to the punchbowl table to grab himself more punch. Sukai then proceeded to walk over to Rawrshark to finally introduce herself to her date.
"Hey,"she said shyly, "saw you fall back there, are you okay?"

Ristuka watched after the boy as he shuffled away from her. Ristuka had become oh so curious and as stared openly she folded her right arm over her stomach and placed her left elbow in her right hand. She then brought up her left forefinger to tap her night black lips that were glossed over with blue glitter. Following Aki she stepped up behind him, "Why are you surprised Im a vampyre?" It was the only question she asked though she obviously had hundreds.

Aki had busied herself with staring fixedly at the fountain of punch, wondering how it worked, and soon figuring it out. She picked up a cup and joyfully gathered up some punch by holding it under the waterfall, and then tasted a sip. The glow on her face showed that she approached. Smiling contentedly, she glanced up as Ristuka joined her, her head tilted slightly at the question. "Hmm.. why? Because I wasn't sure they were real! I'd only read about them in stories!" She grinned, then paused, looking suddenly thoughtful. "But I guess this is a pretty weird school... It's really cool to meet one though!" she added excitedly, bouncing a little in place. She certainly was excitable... She reached out for a bat shaped cookie, and suddenly held it up, her eyes once again wide and awestruck. "C-can you transform?!" she cried out. "Do vampires usually have wolf ears?!"

"Uh...well...Im different." Ristuka was stunned by the sudden question. Were boys really this excitable? With her lack of socialization she couldnt really say they werent fore she really had no clue as to what an actual boy was like and since Aki was the only boy she could study she decided to just go ahead and go along with the excited fits he seemed to have so often. "Vampyres dont normally have wolf ears though....Sometimes they can transform...but more often than not they dont." She had only answered a select few of the questions presented to her.

"Yeah.... im fine" he said quietly. "I'm Rawrshark....I'm guessing you're Sukai?" he asked shyly. he had a hopeful gleam in his eye as he asked this. "you may be wondering why i have a weird name and to be honest i cant explain why my name is what it is." he said quietly.

A young girl of about fourteen began stroking at the hair that laid straightened on her shoulders, framing her face. She looked around almost nervously for someone-- anyone familiar, determined nonetheless to be a wallflower sitting at one of the circular tables by the food. The girl's skin was still slightly tanned from a summer of staying outdoors, her eyes green with sparkling intelligence and a never-sated curiousity. Even in her nervousness, she cracked small smiles at something, perhaps her thoughts, perhaps someone else's. With a hesitant sigh she finally looked down and fingered the black, knee-length dress she wore and the spiderweb pattern lace that was on it. Her purple-painted lips pressed together and she tilted her head to the side as if listening for something.
"All right, Keila. You can do this." the young girl whispered to herself. "A lot of people might've graduated, but you can do this! Make new friends. It shouldn't be that hard, right?" her feet instinctively touched at their tips and she sighed loudly, trying to convince herself still. "Right?!" she voiced a little louder than she meant to, and then blushed a bright red, looking up and around at the dance floor. There were so many people! They all seem to be having a good time!... she thought, and then winced as she saw someone fall flat on their face. .. Most of them, anyway.
She absently began to drum her fingers on the table, resuming the bite on her lip again and the silent prayer that her thoughts might brush a familiar consciousness. It kind of feels like back when I was new here at Ria High. she thought with another small smile. Except there isn't any accidental whirlpools at the hot springs!.. her smile grew at the thought and she laughed a little, shaking her head, swinging her legs back and forth on her chair. I haven't seen any of them in awhile. she quirked her lips to one side, turning to look around the hall once more in a continuation of her look-nostalgia-smile-look-nostalgia-repeat-endlessly cycle.

Aki waited, bouncing a little, expecting a bit more to be said and revealed. But, it wasn't, and she didn't exactly want to talk about herself either, so she understood wanting to be secretive. She supposed she shouldn't really just expect others to say everything all at once. Humans were naturally distrustful people, she found. Vampires could likely be the same. "Well, they're neat," she replied with a smile, nodding toward Ritsuka's ears, and then turned back to the table. As if she needed any more sugar... She placed the bat cookie between her teeth and held it, then picked up a pumpkin and then a witch, and offered the latter to Ristuka. "Mmpha oomphie?" she asked with her mouth blocked, holding the treat out.
