HURRAY CRITS! -pounce snuggles vamps-
On shin actually, Shin is a korean, japanese, and chinese name, its used in many different Asian cultures. And in all of them it is used as a family surname/clan name. By putting it as his first name it really doesn't mean anything or come from anywhere.
And no neither are from stars, planets, constellations, asteroids or any other form of star. I realize thats a little odd..maybe I should have gone looking for star systems or..other more star senshi related things -nods-
I noticed though other senshis need not all be based off of star systems. Such as senshi Walkure, or St. Elmos Fire.
Kinda like how not all nega baddies are based off of minerals? (at least in the anime there were many nega chars based off of animal types..)
I really should try and find a star/solar system that fits my boys and still allows me to work in their personality's. Maybe find an entirely different sphere for each of them to work with like you suggested? -nods-
I totally should drop that bit on roan as it really doesnt fit..I realize I contradict quite a bit with him -headesk- Lawls!
As for the whole hillworth/meadoview thing...I just cant picture roan at meadowview..NUUUU! -flail- Roan is too moody for it, and shin is to happy for hillworth. Lawls plus I thought the whole going to schools they don't belong at thing, would be rather unique and entertaining! -shot-
Now I must fix things, rawwrrrr -off to search through solar systems-

Actually, just as a note here, ALL senshi need to be based on something spacey and all senshi thus far HAVE been. Sailor Walkure IS based off a minor planet http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/877_WalküreThere IS NO Sailor St. Elmo's fire-- her name is Sailor Argo Navis which IS a constellation. Her POWER SPHERE is St. Elmo's fire, which is perfectly acceptable. We do not accept senshi based off of random things/places/animals/whathaveyou. This goes for Negaverse as well, as the shop in entirely in the Negaverse arc. We may be introducing other baddies in the future but they will NOT be Lts. So looking for a Lt. Meow Meow Catface is just not going to work at this point. ---staff note

Again, really thank you guys so much -hugs vamps and natsube- I had absolutely no clue..-as I thought that you could base them off of random things/greek myths/names etc..- Apparently I have a whole heck of a lot of tweeking to do! -feels like a ditz- I'm glad I know now...apparently I also need to look a bit deeper into the sailor moon anime -Must Rewatch..EVERYTHING MUAHAHAHA!-
-snickers at meow meow cat face- At least now I know! The power sphere can be based of anything but the sailor concept must be based off of a star, constellation, planetoids, nebulas, something within a solar system somewhere? -smacked with a stupid stick- Gaaah..shini tis ditz...Seriously though thank you..-cant believe she didn't notice this before-
I'll get to work fixing that right now! -hurrai!
Edit: Okay! I've finally redone their constellations and I'm working on redoing their powers right now! -as well as tweaking roans personality etc, some of his eh..traits..possibly his school though I'd love to see him interacting at hillsworth I realize he doesn't truly fit there-

Puzzles: Crossword puzzles, picture puzzles, Sudoku, those little word scrambles on the back of kiddies meals at Dennys. Roan loves puzzles! The more challenging the better for him, he finds them exciting unlike most people.
Cooking! Roan absolutely loves to cook, and enjoys cooking a variety of brazilian and traditional korean dishes. If his parents would ever allow it he would gladly become a chef instead of being forced to take over the business when his father 'dies'.
While he enjoys cooking he rather dislikes Baking, pastry's, pies, cakes, he'd rather get them store bought then make them himself.
History: Roan is fascinated with history, looking into the past and all the mysteries it holds. Nine times out of ten if you find him curled up with a book chances are its going to be a history book. It may seem boring to most, but for him its a joy.

Virtues: Confident Bystander, Determined, calm, a 'mother hen' type.
Confident Bystander: Roan, for all his annoying flaws is rather caring..at least on the inside. Roan is the type who prefers to stay in the background, and never wants to get directly involved in anything. He finds that its better standing on the sidelines to calculate and watch before interjecting himself into a situation.
Calm: Roan never ever looses his cool, he's always wearing a soft warm/smug smile on his face even if he's seething inside about something. He always thinks things through before acting on them, and has very few impulses. He's certainly not the reckless type.
Determined/Stubborn: When roan does get involved in things though he sees them through to completion even if the task seems impossible he wont give up until he's done it, whether because of his pride or his morals that's just how he is.
Mother Hen: Roan tends to be a 'mother hen' at times, whether this nagging of others -this is reserved for his friends- is a good thing or not is unsure. Sometimes it does come in handy though, and its his own way of showing that he cares by bothering to put so much time in on trying to 'help' someone.
Flaws: Vain, a know it all, Egotistical, Easily Engrossed
Ego: Roan is a rich boy and he wears it well, he knows his breeding and presents it with an ego that often makes others dislike him. Its not that he thinks hes invincible or anything, he just thinks hes better then most other people..at pretty much everything.
A know It All: Roans smart and he loves showing it in subtle teasing ways, one of those people who will always correct you on something 'you' get wrong. He often finds it hard to accept when he is wrong about something and is grudgingly bad at giving out apologies.
Vain: Roan also thinks he's rather pretty, and spends the same time preening as he does studying. He has that 'if you got it then flaunt it' sort of attitude. He loves himself for sure, and his hair, he's that odd kind that will go out and spend money at a spa or at a hair salon. He usually gets his hair highlighted.
Easily Engrossed: When roan does find interesting things he likes to fall into them deeply. If its an object then he has to research it, its history, the beginnings of the object, he becomes simply fascinated with ancient works and will sometimes spend weeks on them just doing research. He also tends to do the same thing with people he finds fascinating, try to find out their past, how they think, what makes them tick. Some people are just like giant puzzles to him just meant to be worked out.
Physical Description:
Hair: Roans hair is dark blue, nearly black with a few lighter blue highlights in it. Shoulder length with long bangs. If he doesn't have it down then its tied back in a high pony tail.
Eyes: He has Dark mocha brown narrow eyes.
Face: Sharp, but gentle features, maybe heart faced? Roan looks rather effeminate, but not so much that you cant tell he's a guy. Usually a small smile/thin lips.
Body: He's not overly tall maybe 5'8 5'9 at most, Slim, Square shoulders, narrow hips..etc.
Fashion: Roan is usually wearing a dark blue sweater vest with a floral leaf pattern with a long sleeved white shirt or a short sleeved dark shirt. He does love long sleeved things, but doesnt mind the basic run of the mill clothing. He enjoys clothes that have designs on them, graphic tees and such, anything silky or soft looking, and will never buy anything with words on it.
If he could have an accessory it would be a belt, his own little way of standing out amongst hillworth others is to have a unique belt with something flashy or noticeable on it -not the gigantic belt buckles that say DADDY- but definitely something.
Usually dark pants/slacks. Not the short wearing kind.
THE STORY ENTRY

It's Halloween -- that dark and eldritch time where everybody is convinced that nobody this year has thought up their radical costume of "iPod."
The news from the police is that if you encounter one of these strange "Negaversers" or "sailor senshi", they are to be considered armed and dangerous, and you should contact a policeman as soon as humanly possible to take them into arrest. You've all been warned that these people cause extensive property damage AND are responsible for the intent to injure a number of Destiny City civilians --
-- so when walking around one night, you find a crumpled-up, prone body in a ridiculous outfit that isn't just a bad Halloween costume. They're injured. Is it a Negaverser, or a Sailor Scout? Is this a trap? What do you do?!

Crit by Arrien! OMG EPIC! (Crit is on shin) Arrien You asked for crit, so here it is! I have to admit - one of the first things I read on this page alarmed me, and that's where you spoke about the kind of service and then told us "it doesn't seem to fit very well." When I say it alarmed me, I mean my first thought was "does that mean you're just sticking this trait in because you feel like it?" Regardless of whether or not that is the case, you don't want to tell the reader that it is in such a negative fashion! Remember that questing isn't just about making a character, but it's also about presenting it. Whether or not you think that the course you've taken makes sense (and if you don't, you really ought to find some way that it does), you shouldn't tell your readers that unless you're hoping for them to tell you something better. Still on the same subject, though - I actually like the nurse take on service for him, because it doesn't seem to suit him well. Contradictions in characters, when crafted and nursed, can bring a lot of depth into them, and a troubled kid like Shin could have a lot of interesting stuff to bring to a medical "class", so to speak. Particularly, by tapping into his empathetic nature, you can exploit the hell out of a connection between two things that don't seem to go together and make a very solid character. One other thing I need to ask - why the name "Shin?" That's a very unusual name for an American-grown boy, and it strikes of Korean or Japanese when he clearly, well, isn't. If he's a foster home kid, then he still must have the name his birth parents gave him - or failing that, gotten a name somewhere along the way by someone who would be trying to set him up to be as normal as possible when he has a difficult future. I like his virtues, but I'm not so sure about his flaws. To be honest, they feel a little weak the way that they're written right now - most of them aren't things that the character would have to work through or be confronted with, but are just traits that might come up but won't have any real effect on the character's successes or failures. Other than perhaps Sarcastic/Ignorant, I don't see many of these getting in his way significantly. I feel like Lazy could be expanded to impact more RP-relevant parts of his life, such as how much he'd be willing to do to make or keep a friendship; Challenged could likewise be expanded to suggest how much he cares about other people's problems when stacked up against his own. And because I'm a terrible person, I have a senshi challenge suggestion. It's gonna hurt, I warn you, but.... "Prepare to get served!" OKAY THAT IS ALL oh god I'm so sorry I couldn't help it once a pun gets into my head, I can't let it go unspoken :c But seriously, there's a lot I like about this character and its concept! A couple things that could use polishing, but all in all, it's headed somewhere interesting. Good luck!
