Personality: Ardeshir is an old warrior tired of battle, he longs for peace and beauty but has no issue using force to ensure peace lasts.
Bio: Ardeshir was born a noble in the Suka'Fumo pride, as he grew he proved himself to be a shrewd tactician and warrior. When he joined the War Council he was incredibly honored, but soon realized that the King was hungry for power and bloodshed and so Ardeshir was thrust into more wars. As things worsened and the young heir Bwana left the pride Ardeshir found himself having to use a mixture of force, threats, and politics to keep the nobles in line. Torn between loyalty to the pride's well-fare and loyalty to his king Ardeshir finally decided the only way to ensure the pride's survival was to depose the King.
After so much time spent on the War Council it was easy enough for him wait until the others had gone to their dens for the evening and then stay to speak to the King. The murder was quick enough for Ardeshir who quickly cleaned himself up and ensured he was seen in his own den later in the evening. When the King's murder was discovered Ardeshir feigned shock and then quickly moved to try and grasp the council together.
Unfortunately the death of the King and lack of an heir only threw the pride into further chaos. Frustrated and Guilty Ardeshir left the pride in search of help in the form of alliances or warriors he could return with to subdue the fighting. Luckily the first lion he stumbled upon was the missing heir Bwana. Stunned by the sudden turn Ardeshir followed the young prince home and fought to ensure he could claim his place as King.
Ardeshir resented Bwana's youth and irresponsibility but as the King proved hismelf capable Ardeshir slowly grew to admire and trust that Bwana was the best the pride could hope for. Bwana allowed him to remain on the War Council in a show of good faith and Ardeshir has used his position to keep an eye on things. He is still guilty for having murdered Bwana's father but believes that it was for the best and knows he cannot confess without possibly forfeiting his own life.
Ardeshir has a deep respect and devotion for the Queen, he has come to think better of Bwana mostly because of that.

As changes slowly come to the Suka'Fumo Ardeshir finds himself growing concerned. While he has no personal slight against the non-purple lions of the pride he knows that the nobles could easily return to infighting and rebellion if their status is threatened. To avoid a disruption in the peace Ardeshir is set against anything that would cause the nobles to turn on Bwana.
