I had a nice chat with my daughter the other day. It was really nice to see her. My Grandaughter, Tawny, has fallen in love. I wonder when I'll become a Great Grandmother soon?
I heard a rumor from the trees that there was an election for Mayor of Telruyna City. I didn't know there was a City...but more importantly Hi is running!
I went to check out the rumor and found that Hi is truely running for Mayor. I told him I would back him, but now I'm not so sure. All he talks about is fighting! There has to be other issues to worry about. I may check out the others running, if I change my mind.

I have alot to tell you, of journal. I went to visit with Hi and he is running for mayor. He told me his stances and wants me to help with his campaign.
When we were alone he told me he had feelings for me. I didn't know what to do or say. I didn't love him anymore, but my heart thudded in my chest as we spoke. I asked him if he loved me or was just lonely and he told me he was just lonely.
I am now back at home with Chae. I love Chae more than anything in the world, but I don't know if I should tell him what happened. I think it might hurt him, I don't want to do that.

I told Chae what happened between Hi and me, and he took it ok. He wanted to beat Hi up, but I talked him out of that. He said it was ok if I still want to help Hi's campaign. Next time Chae will go with though.
Chae has seen Jomund and says he is in love. I wish Jomund would some by. I feel like maybe I was a bad mother to him. Aspen comes by alot, but not Jomund. I wonder what I did wrong?
Chae and I have put together a little family picnic. I invited all of our family. It's going to be alot of fun. I hope alot of them show up!

The picnic was a success! I saw all my kids and thier families! I'm a Great-Granmother now. Tawny has three adorable children! They were so sweet!
I also got to see Jomund and his girlfriend. She's a fae and seemed very nice. I hope to see them again someday.

I’m in a bit of a bind, and out of all the elders I think you’ll be the most capable of helping me out. I’m in need of several different kinds of herbs, which I will be using in a potion of mental clarity and protection for the new Mayor who will be elected soon. Thing is, I haven’t been able to find any of the plants I need! So I’m calling on you to find them for me, since you’re the Elder of Flora and all, I figure it shouldn’t be too much of a hassle for you!
I’m looking for Liver root, Sageblood, and Ironleaf. The Liver root is usually in Loki Nei usually around large stones. Sageblood can be found in Loki Nei as well, usually under heavy cover, since it really doesn’t like light. Ironleaf is really only found in Dragnid, but I haven’t seen any near the marshes there where it usually is.
If you could gather those for me I would be in your debt. I don’t need a lot, just one of each plant will do, and the sooner I get them the better the potion will be, it needs time to steep.

5-6-07 I had a very interesting meeting with a pumpkin-looking pae. She said she had once been a pumpkin! Can you believe it? It was a neat chance to talk to a plant-pae. She felt like a kindred spirit.It's the Great Pumpkin Ivy!As I go to write in my journal I see a page written in by a gaurdian! The Potions master wants me to find herbs for a potion. It should be doable...excpet the Ironleaf...in Dragnid. I could grow the plants anywhere, but they wouldn't be as potent. Anyway, I better be off!

Ivy stood outside her garden with a note in her hand. She was to run an errand for the potion master, herself! Ivy had to get three different herbs for a potion. She had breifly thought about growing them in her garden, but decided for full potency they had to be found in their natual spots.
Ivy plundged herself into Loki Nei forest. She decided to look for one at a time, first up was Liver root, "Around large stones, it says." Ivy said to herself and she started to look.
Ivy pulled up a few stones, but found nothing at the first few sites. She walked to a large tree, one that she had many conversations with before and found three large stones beneath it. "Maybe here?" She asked as she lifted the first stone, nothing. She looked under the second and still nothing and then finally the third, she found the root.
She talked sweetly to plant, asking if it was ready to sreve a greater purpose, and it was. Ivy gently pulled the root from the ground and held it in her hand, "Thank you sweet, Liver Root." Next she went on to look for the Sageblood.

Ivy looked at the next plant on her list, Sageblood. "It doesn't like light..." She murmured to herself. There were lots of places in Loki Nei forest to hide.
First Ivy went to a particularly dark corner where the trees had bent inward for a shelter spot. She had asked them to do this when she was a child, she lived in this forest with no protection back then.
Ivy sifted though the grass and leaves until she found what she was looking for. She bent down and asked the same question as she had with the Liver Root and it agreed. She picked it and placed it with the Liver Root.
"Well, that's two down and one more to go." She shuddered as she looked at the instuctions, "Dragnid..." She hated that forest and was a bit hesitant to go in. She slowly made her way there as she came up with a plan of action.

Ivy stood on the edge of Dragnid forest. She had been standing there for quite a long time. She just wasn't sure what to do. She needed the last item for the potion master and it happened to grow in Dragnid. Her most hated place, well after water of course.
The first time she went in, she was trapped and barely got out. THe second time it was much worse. A tree captured her and wouldn't let go. The plants and trees here resented her for her powers. They felt she bossed and bullied the other forests around, which wasn't true at all.
She wondered if her being an Elder now would change things at all? Would they respect her now? She just wasn't sure. Ivy debated with herself and then took a deep breath and finally stepped into the forest.

Ivy stood just inside Dragnid forest. Nothing had attacked her just yet. There was hope. She slowly walked along looking for some marshes. The note said the potion master hadn't found them lately, so maybe they were hidden?
Ivy heard some crashing sounds behind her, but when she looked back she saw nothing. Ivy gulped and kept walking. She really was uncomfortable in this forest...and she wasn't usually uncomfortable around plants.
Ivy kept walking and finally found a marsh. She looked throughout it for Ironleaf, but didn't see it. Ivy pondered, should she look more or just grow it here? It would still be more powrful, since it grew in Dragnid, and she did want to get out of here as soon as possible. So, she decided to think on it for a few more minutes.

Ivy heard another crash behind her. This prompted her to make her decision, quickly. She placed her hands close to the ground until out popped the Ironleaf. "I guess this will have to do."
This time Ivy picked it, without asking...she was too afraid for a no answer. Ivy put it in the weave bag with the other two plants and started to walk to the edge of the forest.
She heard more sounds and her walk turned into a trot, which then turned into a run! She then jumped out as she felt a vine start to wrap around her foot. She crawled away and then sighed as she looked back at the forest. "Well, I guess I made it." She stood up, brushed herself off and started to walk to the potions cottage.

spookyx7 Ivy wiped her hands from the dirt next to, in her opinion, her masterpiece. In front of her stood a tall tree at the edge of the Fae Clearing. It wasn't like any other tree. It was taller and it's leaves were the color of sunset with cloud patterns on them. Down the trunk was etched, "Chae".
Ivy stood up and wiped a single tear from her eye. No, Chae was not dead, but he was gone and she knew that it was time for her to move on. She couldn't dwell in her past any longer and Chae was that, her past. It was now time for her to live her life witout waiting for him to come home.((This is just a little post to show Ivy move on. She along with Woobie will be in the personal ads and very available to rp with. Just let me know. biggrin ))

6-15-09 I wen on a date! I feel like a young pae again. I never knew how romantic things could be. Raken is nice and sweet. He raised a bunch of paes so he's good with me being a Grandma, of course I don't feel like one with him.Stubborn EmotionsThen the Isle shifted and now we're in the ocean! I also picked up a little toddler named Seda. She is a faun, a new race on the Isle.[/color
