Ivy sat on the ground under the trees close to her home. She had noticed that Seda, the adopted faun, loved being near the trees. She smiled as the little found wiggled around and giggled as Ivy made flowers pop up and down next to her. Seda loved being with the big-woman. The lady was good at making plants do fun stuff. Seda smiled up as a flower popped up and tickled her nose. "Funny flower!" She giggled and tried to catch it, but it went back into the ground.

Pan found himself watching the flower lady and the other toddler from behind a tree. He watched as the lady made the flowers pop up and down. It was very neat...and she was very pretty. Just like the trees he loved.

(( Vangelis & Texas ))
"Now, Vangelis, these are trees. They're big, and your acorn came off of one that was very big. Can you say tree?"
Vangelis, the quiet boy he was, tilted his head at Texas but said nothing for a few moments, until he saw that Texas' mouth had gotten all upside down. He didn't like when that happened, because then his Papa didn't make the cheerful noises he liked to hear, 'cause he didn't seem to want to anymore! So, then Vangelis happily said, "Tray, Papa!"
Texas couldn't help cooing in his delight that Vangelis was humoring him, before sitting down with Vangelis and petting the young boy's head lightly. Vangelis giggled happily, reaching for Texas' hand to suck on his fingers again. "Close, Vangelis." He decided to try pronouncing the world slower now, despite the fact that the word was only one syllable. "Tah-ree."
Vangelis took Texas' finger out of his mouth and pursed his lips together and pronounced, "Reeeeeeee." Then, he took the finger back, but Texas shook his head and offered the little boy his pacifier instead. After comparing the two, Vangelis decided that the circular thing wouldn't have to be pulled away by Texas, and decided that was a way better thing to suck on at the moment. Rejecting Texas' finger for now, Vangelis put the pacifier in his mouth.
The demon laughed in his delight. He adored the little one who had taken to him. "That's right, Vangelis." He hadn't even noticed where he had decided to sit himself and the little boy because he was more concerned with his little Vangelis than the fact that there were other Pae'il nearby.

((see sig for Kaiden))
Tartara walked with her green...thing...outdoors, chosing to expose the little one outdoors. Unfortunately for her, Raken was no where to be seen. Dyas had also vanished. And Tristen. And dameon. Leaving her to care for the previous acorn. Well...Raken had come out of a red package. Pae once came from eggs. Why not a fuzzy thing from a acorn? "Hey! They look like you Kai!"
Jiggling around in his mothers arms, the toddler sucked on his binkie as finally his curiosity was perked. He thought he was just a fuzzy pae! But there were others. Like him. Right there. He smiled excitedly and pointed, wanting to be carried over.

Ivy looked up and noticed a few other pae with fauns. "Wow, there are alot more than I expected." She smiled down at Seda who noticed them too. "There are others like you, Seda." Ivy waved to the small faun by the tree and the other two couples.
Seda crawled over to the one with the big-brown pae. She touched his leg as she sucked her passy. She lifted herself up to see what the other faun looked like.

The little boy hadn't noticed anyone either until the green faun crawled over. Instead of responding to the little faun girl in front of him, he sucked on his pacifier and tilted his head to observe her. While he was well-aware there were others like him as he had met Faroth and Rais, Vangelis was curious to observe everyone who came near him.
Texas looked down in curiosity when he noticed Vangelis' attention shift and when he noticed something on his leg. A little faun girl? Where had she come from? The demonic glanced around, hoping there was a caretaker for this little one. Luckily, his fell upon the demonic elder who appeared to be waving in their direction. He waved back, before looking down at the little girl.
"Hey there." He offered a smile down at the little girl before shifting so she could see Vangelis better, and so Vangelis could see her better. Then, he decided to watch the two toddlers to see what they would do.
The girl was small like him, not big like Faroth and Rais had been. The little boy moved closer to get a better look, now tilting his head the other way as if turning his head would give him a different sort of view of the green toddler in front of him. Eventually, he took his pacifier out of his mouth and turned to Texas.
"Baby like tah-reeeeee." He declared, giggling cheerfully when he saw his adoptive father grin from ear to ear. Then, Vangelis turned back to the little girl to observe her like some kind of work of art, or perhaps some kind of science experiment.

Following Kaidens orders she was more then happy to walk over to the two fuzzballs by the elder. "Mind if Kaiden joins you guys?" She set down the bright green faun by the other two. "He's sort of shy so-"
The instant he was on the ground, he was crawling towards the other male to poke him, trying to get his attention.
"...be nice. Nevermind." sweatdrop

Pan saw the others but then looked back upon Ivy. She had pretty flowers in her hair and he wanted to see them. The toddler then walked out from his tree and over to her. He sat by her leg and pulled on her dress to see if she would lift him up.

Ivy smiled at all the fauns arrivals. She looked down to see the brown male toddler pulling at her dress. "Well, hello little one." She scooped him up and carried him over to Seda, the demon and faun, and the girl and her faun. "I'm Ivy and that's Seda." It's was always nice to introduce oneself.
Seda giggled as the male talked. She hadn't been uttering any sounds yet. She wasn't ready or so Ivy thought. She looked up as Ivy walked over and her grin got bigger. She was happy to see all the others like her.

It had been a while since Texas had seen an elder around. Actually, the only other elder he had ever really seen was Jazz. There weren't really many elders, were there? Politely, he nodded in greeting, before gesturing to himself. "I'm Texas Pete, and my little son here is Vangelis."
Vangelis nodded firmly, as if confirming what Texas had said, before returning to observing all of the faun near him. Now there was one that was all brown, kind of like his daddy! And there was one that was green, but not like the trees. The little girl was really bright and it almost hurt the little boy's purple eyes a little. He reached out to touch them, before deciding that he didn't want to and instead patted Texas' leg rhythmically.
Texas chuckled at Vangelis, who seemed to be making up some kind of song with all of his tapping. "It's nice to meet you," offered he in the meantime, to the Pae'il and their child fauns all around him.

Pan was happy to be carried over and held by the elder. He looked up at the flowers and tried to grab one. So pretty. Out of the corner of his eye he noticed the others. More like him even. Did they like the green grass, flowers and trees like he did? Pan giggled as he waved and said. "Pan!"

It's very nice to meet you." Ivy said and she giggled as the little faun in her arms shouted what she guessed was his name. She then set him down so he could see the other toddler faun. "They are so sweet." She knew all children were sweet, but said her thoughts anyway.
Seda giggled as the blue faun tapped his Daddy. Seda smiled at the brown boy as well. She then plopped down and started to dig at the dirt showing the elder that she wanted more flowers, which Ivy then sprouted for her.

(I hope that I can jump in here. For reference: Hyacinthus and Eboraria ) The shade of the trees' crowns gave him some solace from the heat of the day, although little could be done about the humidity. Hopefully, he could soon get back to the large lake where the breeze glided along the surface and jump off to cool him. With his sister, Hyacinthus had moved to the far side of the lake, away from most people. This was the first time in year--it felt like years--that he had been out. He felt so old, yet he was still in a teenage body. He was slow, slower than everyone else. What about his friends? They must have all grown up and moved on to better things. He sometimes saw Jazz, or thought he saw her. Every so often, he'd look outside his window and see people playing. He loved watching the naiads on the lake, but he dared not go outside to see them. He only left the little hut when necessary. He had a little sister, and now she was the one taking care of him. He felt decrepit and useless. An effeminate old fart like him couldn't be worth much.It took Eboraria so long to get her brother out of their hut. She finally convinced him after threatening to throw all of his jewelry in the lake; he had amassed an impressive collection through making his little trinkets out of just about anything he could find. This journey was as much for her as it was for him. Hyacinthus could probably stand staying shut up in an ivory tower for most of his life and let his mellon keep him company; it would kill Eboraria. She craved companionship so badly that she found herself forgetting how pae'il related to each other. The only way she could remind herself was by watching the other pae'il. Of course, she felt that she hardly had any time to do more than watch them because she had her brother to look after. Something in him had changed; not even he could explain it. He didn't grow up the way he was supposed to; his body seemed to just stop.He stopped ten feet short of the small group chatting so happily in the clearing. One of them looked familiar. The demon Pae'il. Texas Pete. The fae remembered how much he loved him; they were such close friends. Now, there was nothing. Shouldn't he feel short of breath? Well, at least he was still attractive. For some reason, that stuff didn't matter anymore. "Do you think they'll recognize me?" "If we're lucky, no." Eboraria didn't want to go through the uncomfortable explanation of where they had been all this time. Their family had essentially imploded; their "parents" had broken up because they couldn't stand living in Telrunya anymore. They never really explained why, but one thing was clear: they had to leave. It seemed like the right thing because she was now old enough to function on her own. Hyacinthus took it much harder, of course. He was always closer to them."I...I don't feel good." He made some vague gestures to indicate that he might've had a headache or was sick to his stomach.[ "Don't you dare," she hissed, snatching his hand. "I got too far to turn back now." She dragged him toward the small group, putting on her best smile. She had always been excellent when it came to faking emotions and expressions. "Hello hello!" she called out.

"Aren't they? Little Vangelis is adorable," cooed Texas, patting the little boy's head as he continued to make a fun little rhythm on his leg. "I knew I had to take care of the darling before I even saw his acorn hatch." 'Acorn hatch' was still an awkward phrase to get used to.
"Hello hello!'
And then his blood ran cold as the words echoed around in his skull.
Vangelis didn't seem to notice the horrified look that crossed Texas' face at the new voices, too concerned with making his musical stylings with the instrument called Daddy's Leg. The quiet little boy pointed at the other faun, and then at Texas' leg, suggesting that Texas was some kind of living musical instrument and that they should all join him in playing the legs.
It made a really fun sound, after all! He hit Texas' knee lightly and giggled when the leg automatically jerked, before going back to playing with his calves.
Texas was, consequently, brought back to reality by Vangelis' hitting of his knee. He must've been halluncinating. Wait, why was he so concerned? He was totally over Hyacinthus already. Of course, there was also a difference between being over someone who didn't seem to be alive anymore and being over someone who was right in front of his face. The demonic wearily glanced over his shoulder and hoped to goodness that wasn't who they were, but only sighed lightly when he did see Cinthy there.
"Hi." It was meek and awkward, and even the toddler noticed, stopping his tapping of Texas' calf to give his daddy a weird look. Then, Texas got an idea to totally distract himself. "Have you seen the faun yet?" That made them sound like some kind of science experiment... Awful.
These people were making Texas act weird and Vangelis didn't like that. He frowned, before hitting Texas' leg as hard as his hands could muster in hopes to distract him entirely.

Ivy looked over at the two who were joining them. She didn't really know why Texas hadn't gone kind of quiet, but she wanted to welcome them anyway. "Hello, I'm Ivy. This is Seda, Pan and Vangelis." She could tell Texas must know them and didn't introduce him.
Seda didn't understand what was going on so she just watched the flowers dance in front of her. She didn't know how they were doing that, and she didn't really care.
