Look, Heck, it is not that we don't know what a glitch is. Hell, I have them all the time! But it seems to us [me, anyway] that you aren't making the proper effort expected of an Agent. I know that you can use capital, I see some in your latest post. And your code can not be all that messed up if you managed to bold, underline, and italicize a portion of your text!
In any case, your reason to me was not a glitch, it was that you are simply "just a fast typer".
You have been wantonly rude to people who were simply trying to familiarize you with the way we do bussiness. You have talked down to GiB Agents, insulted us, acted as if we were not very smart. This is not okay. However. I know that spending time in certain parts of Gaia can harden one's heart and I, for one, am willing to give you a second chance at a first impression.
What do you say?

Aww Heck Clone Yami Heck, here we worry about the writing of everyone. If you rush through and don't care about you spelling then you aren't considered a good agent. If you try to spell to the best of your knowledge then you are. And if you spell like a maniac using a u for you and other "txt" words, then that is also considered being a non-good agent. ...do any of you mystery-lovers know what "glitch" is here's the meaning : an anomally in data based objects that is either harmful or non-normal operations but fine if i absolutely -h-a-v-e- to spell everything exactly correct...then i'm jsut otuta here and you guys got a bad rep.... I never said that. And it should be called a bug and not a glitch.

How gullible do you think we are? The odds of any modem glitch affecting packets sent by your computer on a binary level, and leaving them in a form that Gaia's servers can understand, are a million to one. And add the fact that it only affects text, and that it just happens to turn this 'text' into 'txt', and this becomes as probable as me being a watermelon while typing this with my rainbow-colored wings. neutral

I have never heard of any sort of "OS glitch" that causes you to type poorly. I also think it's obvious that you are able to type well when you want to. In any case, while it is not a requirement that you have flawless typing skills, typing carefully does show the people you are communicating with that you respect them enough to make the effort. And respect is required.

Tim, you should just delete this thread. Heck left and is no longer an agent of the GiB. I am sorry if I made him leave but blaming an user error on the computer is not the way to be.

There's probably a lesson to be learned here... somewhere.

Don't blame the smarter thing for your problems?
But we really need something so this doesn't happen again. I can understand that first joining it can be hard to get use to the rules and recommendations. But this is the worst I have seen out of all the "new" agents.
But him leaving is part of my fault and I recognize it.
P.S.
Thank god I have spell check. Half the long words I spell, I can't spell without spell check.

If you'd check his Recent Posts, he can spell correctly when he feels the need to, such as when he's setting up a thread. I think the moral of the story here is, "Think not what you can do to make yourself look different, but think of what you can do to make yourself act better."
On a side note, he looked like an SF reg to me, judging by his forum posts. Probably why he acted like he did.

Anyway, I'm locking this thread.
