Bella, who was busy working with a patient glanced toward the door. She saw Iquel then, and gasped softly. "Wait!" She called to him, "Come back!" She pulled her arm back, feeling like an idiot. She had a job, she couldn't chase after him, but she still wanted to talk to him and hear what had happened. She had seen the blood on his face, it sent shivers coursing though her. "I'm sorry sir," She said quickly, returning to the officer resting before her. She hoped anyway that she may be able to get off soon.

Iquel heard Bella's exclamation and turned around. He opened the package of wet wipes and wiped the dried blood off of his face and chin. "I'll be in my room... I'll be resting there." He said to Bella with another smile before going off. He wanted to talk with her, she was one of the few people who he could share what was going on in his mind. Piloting a mobile suit was a way he could get away from his doubts... but they always came crashing back once he was on the ground.

Bella nodded in understanding. She had a few more people to care for. She finished up with the female officer, and relaxed for a moment getting her mind straight. She had to do her job thoroughly, despite how much she wanted to go talk with Iquel. "I will see you in a bit then!" she called back to him. She had some work to do, and she would get it done without rushing. If she rushed she would not achieve her goal.

"I'll be waiting." Iquel said after hearing Bella's reply. He stepped through the halls to barracks, but stopped at a vending machine for a bottle of water to help with the medication. He reached his room and pressed the button to open the door. Iquel sighed and threw himself on his bed, hearing the door hiss shut. I wonder how my parents are doing? He wondered. I hope that they're okay... I bet you guys didn't expect me to be a killer when I grew up... Because I sure as hell didn't. He thought, opening the bottle of medicine.

Bella worked quickly despite her resolve to take it easy and not rush. One of the nurses stopped her anyway.
"Bella, you've been here for nearly 18 hours." She said amazed. "You should go rest, I will take care of the rest of the patients."
Bella suspected the woman knew what she wanted, and she had been working for quite a long while. "Thank you!" She said hugging the woman. "I owe you one!" she called waving to her as she ran from the infirmary. Bella ran down the halls until she came to the division of the barracks where Iquel stayed. Bella slowed down, and tried to catch her breath before she walked up to his door. She sighed, smoothing out her skirt, and adjusting her hat. she knocked softly on the door. "Iquel, are you there?"

Iquel sat up quickly. "Yeah, I'm here!" Iquel said, perking up. "Come on in... come on in!" He told her. He had thrown off his flight suit, and it could be seen hanging from a chair in front of a simple desk bearing a computer. He took two pills out of the bottle and swallowed them with a gulp of the water from his bottle.

Bella pressed the button to open the door and waited for it to allow her entrance. The wait was not long. When the door opened she spotted Iquel quickly and smiled waving to him as she entered. "Hey there, sorry about earlier, both ealiers." She blushed, imagining just how stupid that sounded. "How are you feeling?" She asked with a softer tone now. She was concerned for him.

"I took medication for a head-ache." Iquel said. "High g-forces messed me up a bit..." He walked up and locked the door. "If I was a Coordinator, it wouldn't have been anything, but... I'm just a Natural. There's nothing I can change about that." He said. Iquel held the bottle of water out to Miluiel. "Want some water?" He asked. "I'll warn you though, I did take a sip." He said.

Bella shook her head, "No, I am fine thank you." She stood looking at him, her eyes expressed her sadness and worry. "I wish I could help you be a Coordinator." She bowed her head. "I would gladly trade you if it was possible." Not only did being a Coordinator hurt her mentally, and occasionally physically, but if Iquel was a coordinator, then she would feel a whole lot better with him out on the field. She would worry, yes, but he would be one of the best minds out there. He was, but if he was a Coordinator...

Iquel smiled sadly. "Your all heart. Sit down, take a load off. You look tired." He said. "But what about you?" He asked. "Ever since we were young... it had always been hard for you. You would spend more time at our house with me and Ryan, then at your house... or at least it seemed that way." He said softly. Iquel looked into Bella's eyes. "But you... as a Coordinator, you could be something grea!. You should be attending a college in Orb... or the PLANTs, following some career. You deserve that!" He said in honesty. She worked so hard every day helping people, she did the same if not more work than he did. "You have the power to help people... but me? The only thing I've found that I'm any good at is piloting war machines..." He said looking at the floor.

Bella sat on the wooden chair that so loyally held Iquel's flight suit. "I always liked your home Iquel, everyone there was always to kind." Bella looked down at her hands. Even just today even she could see how much blood stained her hands. She reached out and touched Iquel's hands. "You help people too." She said softly, but assertively. "Without you much worse could have happened today. Your skills are amazing. You put up a good fight with even the strongest coordinators." There was energy in her voice now despite her exhaustion. "As for my job, I am here. My parents will not let me go to Orb or PLANTS, they don't care what happens anymore." She smiled, a sweet sort of crooked smile. 'My job is making sure you are safe Iquel,' she told herself.

Loki laughed. "The Junk Guild? Who knows, If you go I might follow you! Who else is gonna watch my back, half the soldiers hate me and the superiors are just waiting for me to get killed."

Iquel looked at Bella with a sad smile. "I guess your right." He said softly. "I'm just... I just feel like I'm with the wrong group... The Alliance I mean." He said softly. "My parents didn't want this for me... but there was something that I wanted to fight for, that drove me." He looked at Bella. And it was you I wanted to fight to protect. He added to himself mentally. "But now, with all of these extremists in the military... I just don't know what I want to do. I don't have strong reasoning for being on any side. Yet here I am taking one." He fell back and looked at the ceiling. "Maybe I'm just tired from all of the action lately." Iquel said with a sigh.
Ryan smiled. "It would be nice to have a familiar face around. Though I'm not very strong on going anywhere at the moment. I'm considering it more strongly than I did a few months ago, but not enough... at least, not right this moment." Ryan tapped a finger on the throttle. "At any rate, since Chairman Zala's been switching out commanders. The way I'm seeing it, those charges that were trumped up against you are a likely to disappear." He chuckled. "As a matter of fact, if you keep your combat record as consistent as it already is, you might just get yourself assigned to FAITH. The only people you would have to report would be the Chairman and the PLANT council."

Bella nodded looking down to her hands. "Yes, there has been a lot of things going on lately." She rubbed her tired eyes, and lay her elbows on her knees. "Then why don't you go to another division. You are obviously not happy here." She said. "I don't want you feeling like you are in the wrong place. How awful can that be?" She asked shyly watching him. "Is there really a right side in war?" Bella shook her head. "Do you still have some of that medicine?" she asked now feeling the traces of a headache.

Iquel shook himself from his reverie. "Oh, sure! I've got a whole bottle of 'em." He snatched to bottle of pills of a bedside table and stood up holding the bottle out to Bella. "Here. Take as many as you need." He said. Iquel smiled fondly at Bella. "My doubts are more ideological, I guess I'm just... well... It's just been that I'm worried about my brother... and distressed that we're on opposite sides really. Especially after what happened at Alaska." He stood up for a moment in silence and then said. "Do you want to listen to some music? I've got some on that computer there." He suggested, but as he did, a beep at the door interrupted his thoughts and a familiar voice spoke.
"Hello in there!" Jan said from the other side of the door, through a speaker on his side. "If your having an intimate moment, I'll go away." He said jovially. "But you looked like you could use a shot in the arm, after the fight." He said waiting.
Iquel smiled. "You think I should let him in?" He said jokingly to Bella.
