All I'm trying to say is please do not try to with offensive banners and graphs whose accuracy is not as potent as their irrelavance.
I'm trying to be as polite as possible when I say this, but I feel that if we don't want to be insulted like this then we shouldn't do it ourselves. Simply, don't be cruel. Please?

Lumanny, might I ask if you're a Puritan or a Jesuit?
And remember kids... you all have the right to your opinion, as does Lumanny. In this day and age we're supposed to be building bridges, not blowing them apart.
Now this thread was based on the 700 club who represent the religious right (which is neither) doing something that when taken at face value... is rather blasphemous on a biblical level.
It was to put get on the face of the 700 club. Not the whole of Christiandom.
And now the reason I asked Puritan or Jesuit.
Every major protestant faith that developed in America; Baptist, Evangelical, Methodist, Presbyterian(to an extent), Unitarian, Mormon, ETC... was based on Puritanism.
American Catholicism today is based on the edicts of Vatican II which is based on Jesuit teachings.
However if your say... Jewish you probably are neither.
But you seem to be really sensitive about slants and slights against Christians. So I'm just wondering is all.

"Free" Methodism started around the same time by a guy named George Whitefield. Both flavors are based on Calvinism. And perhaps you are right about Lummany being more ethical than I, because you know how much of a b*****d I can be... ...but at least I stopped saying Nanny State infront of you.

Britain's a nasty bugger at times, but my family was better here than a chamber or a furnace.
That's what I hate about some American Jews. They have no idea how close I was, my father was, my family, my friends, my rabbi... every Jew I know and love... to not existing.

They have no idea how close I was, my father was, my family, my friends, my rabbi... every Jew I know and love... to not existing. I know how close you guys were. <_< Britain opened its arms for awhile but eventually started denying Jews coming in because they were afraid of something... Can't exactly remember what; I want to say overcrowding or bad publicity but I'm pretty sure that was wrong.

We were in the middle of Appeasement (trying to keep Hitler happy and obtain peace by giving him anything he wanted. Nice one, Chamberlain.), and it would look like defiance if Britain haboured too many of the people Germany wanted to kill.
