No TIM.... you equip the guns as you like them.

The trigger happy jerks are the ones who yell at me.... and I get flustered.... and leave Gaia for a week or so.

Lol, I was kidding man! I have both the Zony items, and you can have your pick of them. Equip it if you want, sell it if you want, I don't really care. Its just that I'm rather fond of them, and I'd prefer giving them to someone whom I knew would keep and cherish them rather than sell them.

Well, I would totally keep it. I had one once, but sold it for my stoopid scarf... so its one of many items I wish I still had. XP
But if you're fond of them, why are you giving them away? @_@

Yikes.

Is there a reason it bothers you so much?

Though, that's getting kinda personal, so you don't have to answer. -_-

I think it's a female thing. Whenever I talk about shooter games or videos to people, and a female has started to listen in, it's almost like an emotional slap in the face half of the time. And if she doesn't just leave, she'll likely just come up and hit me. It's happened a lot.

I think shooter videogames incite mindless violence. Shooting whatever thing rans trough the screen, without a good reason? I don't see what good can come out of it. Whenever I used to see my friends entranced in those games, with their eyes glued to the screen and getting all happy and excited because they killed everyone and survived... they looked like animals.

*sigh* At least give me a good excuse.

I don't really dislike guns - I even like to go out and practice my aim with a riffle at the National Army park, and believe it's a good discipline to calm the nerves - but I hate the mentallity that developes in those who grow too dependant on them.

Lol, that's easy. Fiirst off, I'm not just giving them away, I'm giving them to you. There's a differince; it can be seen in the reasons I'm giving them to you. First of all, I have a feeling you would enjoy having it more than I currently do, and that's important. Secondly, you don't want it just to make a quick buck, you want it because its an item that you once had that you got rid of before you realized that you would regret it, and now you won't make that same mistake. And finally, I'm giving it to you because I still feel bad about the whol katana thing. I'm weird like that: I always regret things that unfairly affect other people because of me. So yeah..
As for the other stuff, well, I don't necessarily need or want it...so the way I see it, I'm just gettin rid o' s**t and diumpin it on someone else, lol

Or, what I mean to say is, I don't think generalizations like that are accurate or fair. >_>

But what do I know.

Okay, now THAT I take issue with. Its ridiculous to think that video games inspire real world behavior. Who are the most aggressive people you know? I'm betting its not the gaming nerds. Shooter games don't inspire violence any more than the "Shoot the ducks" game in the rejected olympics does. Its just a modern version of the same concept--target practice. I personally love railshooters where you shoot everything that moves. In fact, I usually lose those games because I end up accidentally shooting hostages and allies. Does that make me violent? I don't think so. I strongly support gun control, and have no desire to ever own or use a real gun. Those things are scary!

As far as your friends being happy because they won, you only find it disturbing because you find the context disturbing. The fact of the matter is, they won a contest of skill, and that's why they're happy. So in this instance it was virtual target practice-- you'd see the same expressions on people throughout history who enjoy games of skill.
I agree that people shouldn't be dependent on guns, but that's REAL guns in REAL life. Video games shouldn't even enter into the equation.

Well, I suppose I can see your point.
However, you shouldn't feel bad about the katana thing. Its not like I ended up worse because of it. I didn't get in trouble or warned or anything--in fact, they didn't even tell me they were taking it. -_-

Ah, well, I admit I'm biased - those friends I was talking about? Well, there was a serious incident with an air gun, and one of them ended up in the emergency ward.

I also don't agree with videogames or TV causing violence - I love videogames, and I don't know how many "violent" series I've watched since I was 6 or so, but shooters make me lose my temper.

I do like the orphans.
But I'd only sell an aquatica. I already have one.

Yeah, I suppose I can see why you think that, then. However, it sounds like your friends were just being stupid. -_-
And nobody I know has shot each other up, except in paintball.
