What was that? June asked, ears perking up at the intimidating snarl that had come from somewhere near the duo of Lunars. She blinked in slight shock when she heard Mikayl swear vehemently. ...Mikayl...?

I think that was a feral! he growled, pressing his chest down to the ground as he sent out a slightly stronger vibration than usual. He had definitely 'seen' something huge and oddly shaped. And with that growl...

No, if it had been a feral, they would be better off going in the opposite direction. He would never be able to fight them off with his current magic skills, and Juniper had no magic at all right now. If they somehow met up with the feral, they were dead.

This way, Mikayl tilted his head in one direction that seemed quiet enough, before taking off in a sprint. He could feel June's steady pace behind him.

As they traveled farther along the path, Kailind didn't even bother asking her kyn if he'd spotted anything. Leoni's focus had not wavered once, with not even a slight twitch or pause to syggest he'd seen anythign of note. So she continued to search the ground with him and they neared the place they'd begun searching.

Moving to 49

Keely kept walking along the path, having lost sight of the creature some time again. She crossed her arms and walked slowly, a look of concentration on her face. If she were an unknown thing, where would she live? She hadn't a clue.

Ampelos yawned and stopped following along. It was time for a short rest. With a sigh Keely joined him, pulling out a canteen and taking a swing.

"hey, whats that down there?" poke pointed, and kichi followed her gaze. It looked like there were others on the path

with kichi's keen eyes, she was able to make out that it was a lunar, and gazing about she could see some others as well. "I don't think those are the ferals we have heard about" she told her rider.

"yeah, they're proably other riders looking for the same thing. Lets keep out of their way, shall we?"

a long sigh escaped poke. She felt like she was on a wild goose chase; She had no idea what to expect out here, and she knew that while they kept moving, so were their prey.

Kichi however was interested in the big "purple" thing that was behind them but more to the south. Curious, she turned around and went towards it, but kept her course somewhat in the same directiom

(This is not part of the game, I'm just doing my finding story for Minum here because Dox and Spear are still here.)

Paradox and Spirit wandered around for a while, really not noticing much. Dox tried to start conversations with the purple eastern, who simply ended everything with short statements.

Oh fine, ignore me, I'm not important. Dox finally cried out in exasperation, looking the other way. Paradox couldn't stay mad at one of his hunnies though, and soon forgot all about Spirit's irritation toward him. Even the fairly tolerable Spirit had her limits. He turned around to talk to the female kyn again, but saw something blue dart into the bushes.

Dox nudged Spirit, who promptly responded with a "What is it now!?" which really showed her agitation. Members of Edoc'sil rarely ever spoke out loud. Dox didn't seem to show and surprise though, and nodded towards the bush.

Something blue went into the bush over there. Could it be one of those weird kyns? Paradox floated off toward the bush, his long body encircling it as he sniffed it curiously.

What kind of kyn would be able to hide in that puny thing? Spirit said, rather more sharply than she intended, and she continued to travel forward. Paradox ignored her though, definitely smelling some sort of creature.

The bangles on his leg jingling, Paradox moved around so that one side of the bush opened up to reveal a small creature huddled inside, terrified. It looked like a mouse, with an oddly shaped tail, and blue colouring all over.

Hey there little guy. Paradox cooed, sensing this creature to be male. He watched curiously as the small creature closed its eyes as if concentrating, and blue sparks suddenly came off its cheeks.

"Minum!" The small thing cried out, as a bolt of electricity stinging Paradox's nose. Dox recoiled in shock, and the small thing fled across the field, diving into a crevice between two rocks.

Dox, determined to find out what was going on, quietly glided to the opening of the crevice, and peeked in. He could hear the little thing's hard breathing. He then heard what sounded like a conversation between the creature and something else

"Min-minum!"

"Plusle?"

"Num! Minum!"

"Plus plus!"

"Miiiinum!" "Pluusle!"

The two voices came on at the same time. Blue and red sparks blasted out of the crevice, and Dox ducked to dodge it.

Easy there! Calm down, the great Paradox will never hurt you! Paradox cried out with his mind, searching for a connection with the little creatures. He found contact with one of them, and instantly sent messages of friendship. The thing seemed to calm down, and the blue creature poked its head outside.

"Minum?"

My name is Paradox. Dox introduced himself.

"Min!"

Ahahaha, nice to meet you too little pal. Don't fret about the electricity, it didn't do much damage. Dox looked past the little creature to see a small red version of the bunny-like thing crawling out, obviously injured. Paradox looked concerned.

"Minum! Min min minum!" The small blue thing cried out excitedly, pointing to the red creature.

"Plusle..." It replied meekly.

Nice to meet you too. Are you ok?

"Plus..."

You need some help...that leg looks horrible. Paradox could see that the thing could barely walk. Through the contact he has managed to make, he could tell that these two were siblings, the red one being the blue one's younger sisters. You should come to our clan, we can help you heal.

The two looked at each other for a little while, then looked at Dox and nodded.

Now, let me give you names, it'll be easier to identify you two. How about Poppy and Sparks? Dox had meant to name the red one poppy for its colour, and the blue one Sparks for it's attack on Dox, but the two seemed to have gotten it mixed up, and the names stuck.

Spirit! get back here and help me get these two back to the den!
