"I am so glad you could make it Seth, and you are right... I just lost it for a second." She said her mood switching from annoyed to happy to see him. "I apologize for raising my voice, my better judgment escaped me for a few minutes." She said bowing to the audience, and the council shamefully, before taking her seat again. She quickly regained her composure, she didn't mind it when the councilmen insulted her, or what she believed... it was more that he insulted Grimloq, his people, and his beliefs that made her angry. "So what else do we have on the agenda to talk about?" She asked. There must be another way other than destroying the crops and attacking harmless civilians... She thought to herself looking away.
Tai swam around half bored, half anxious. I shouldn't just be swimming around here doing nothing... I should be doing something to help us win the war! He thought to himself crossing his arms as he swam.

Maia grinned at the mention of a celebration, she loved alchohol just as much as any human alchoholic, but she knew when to stop. It was all she could think about until Seth arrived to the scene and the girl next to her jumped up happily. Maia couldn't help but smile, "So the Myrukan joins us." She scratched her right ear irritably, it was always the mention of destroying crops and farms that always ruined the mood. She sank into her chair bitterly and stared ahead at the Lizard man, a low growl emitted from her throat, "Dummy,"

Ruri sighed as the council session continued and she had to keep herself from being impatient. The rays of sunlight pour though the windows above started to pound on her cloak making it heat up considerably. " I hope they figure out what the heck is going on with this war they keep talking about...Or something. Or I'm going to take of my cloak just scare the hell out of these people and so I can I leave and find information else where," She thought.

"I say Priestess, he is right to have something to complain about, I will defend myself against those who do not allow celebration, but I thank you for the support."
Grimloq fixed his eyes upon the council member who spoke against the festival and his pupils went smaller to focus more on the man's facial expression, almost as if reading what he was thinking or staring into his soul.
"Us Lizard Men have worked hard endlessly to defend the Northern Region from attack and if we didn't fend off the invasions made in the north that dwarfed the Lizard Men military one to three, the north would have fallen to the creatures of water. I say we deserve reward for our contribution to the war effort. We abide for other Tribe's tradition, why not the Lizard Men's tradition?"
Grimloq unfixed his eyes from the man's face and crossed his arms to make his point sealed. The Lizard Men were often praised for their military might, but also often looked down upon when they decided to take a break from what made them such a powerful military force. Other Tribes also had quite excellent military might and also forbid celebrating tradition, those could take his tribe's place during the celebration.

Sunia turned back around. I better get him away from the water. She control the roots of the trees and began to move the dead body. A war will come soon, because of this. She sighed as she walked after the roots moving the body. "This is just a mess." She ordered the root the seat the body down. She made a flower grow from the ground. It was a blue rose with a sliver stem, her signature flower. She put her head down and clasped her hands together. She started to pray. Standing up she took to her fairy size. "Protect the body until I get back." She ordered the roots and they covered the body completely.

"Please rethink attacking the farms..." She said calmly. "Imagine what would happen if our farms and civilians were attacked... We would be so angry and probably launch a complete attack on them... they will most likely do the same thing to us." She said thinking. "It really isn't something we should risk right now.. especially with the day of Oracles so close." She said thinking

Maia nodded and acted as if she hadn't noticed the weregryphon, "Rikku's right, we really don't need any quick wars, even if they left them as they were...we will still be outnumbered." She sighed, "If I was on the council, I'd suggest setting ambushes if our enemies don't like the thought of peace, maybe we should just get rid of the humans, they seem to be the main problem."

"Rikku" Seth began, pausing to let the name sink it. It was rare that she was called by name, other than by people that knew her. Seth wasn't included in that group. "- a counter-attack is sure to happen, but if they are allowed to supply their army it could mean thousands of casualties on our side. our people might suffer because we did not take offensive against the few innocents." He explained, standing from his seat. The Myrukans were only a few hundred in number, and such a high death toll could mean extinction for his people. "I assume that they would attack immediately after, if not before the Day of the Oracle." Seth added before sitting once more. Still he cursed himself for joining the council on this discussion. It all seemed so clear to him what should happen and why. "Sometimes, there's no alternative solution.." He added softly, folding his arms and closing his eyes. Wanting nothing more for the meeting to be over, which probably wouldn't happen soon.

"I know... but most of the time there is, just most people are so set in there ways that they refuse to see it." She said calmly "We should avoid attacking the innocent at all costs..." She said looking up at him. "And if we give them a reaosn to attack before the Day of Oracles.... it can be potentially disastrous." She pleaded. "We need to stay on the defensive a little bit longer." She said.

Ruri looked at the girl beside her and stood up again, not caring if the force knocked the hood from her head. "What do you mean, get rid of the humans?! They are not the only ones causing problems..." She turned her head to look at the council. "My opinion might not matter much, but...I agree with the Priestess. If we attack innocent people we leave ourselves open for attack. There is no honor in hurting innocents, and no justice either. It won't stop them from hurt us ten fold, just to redeem some of what they lost." She started to growl slightly as the emotions started to well in her throat.

Sunia took off for the council meeting. She wived in and out of the trees. She avoided getting squshed. I have to. She picked up speed as she got closer. She took to her human size and land hard. She almost tripped over her feet. She ran into the meeting. She feel foreword and looked up. She sat up out of breath. "A... A... killed." She fold up her wings. She could talk until her cought her beath.

"Farms aren't well defended, a few of my men can just sneak in and though I hate the idea, why not just capture the farm families and hold them in the Lake of Allies? We have a bargaining chip for their counter attack. We spare innocent lives and destroy their supplies as well, is the satisfying?"
It was hard for Grimloq to suggest such a thing; he hated all creatures of the water and the so called innocent were no exception. Suggesting such a tactic seemed out of Grimloq's character, but he needed to advance past his grudge in order to make sure the council's agreement was united towards the destruction of the water army's farms.
"I personally will see to this operation and make sure each captured individual arrives unharmed at the Lake of Allies. As for the humans, we can't simply blame problems on them, every tribe contributes problems. Do you want to be like the creatures of water and try to wipe out a race because they are differnt?"

"That would be just as bad..... It isn't near as cruel.. but It is just a low down tactic." She said getting out of her seat and walking over to Sunia. "Take a deep breath."She said calmly keeping her composure. "What happened, calm down and tell me." She said looking at Sunia comfortingly, knowing that something had happened.

Maia grumbled, "It was only a suggestion, I've been on this planet longer than all of you, humans are bad news!" She scowled and stared at the floor, "Though I do agree with the lizard man, for once." She continued to mumble inaudibly, shaking her head like a slow motion movie.
She spoke up loudly this time, over the drone of the council and ignored the fairy that had burst in, "Who hasn't been affected by the humans? Who hasn't suffered? Even if they are not the cause of this war, they're too smart, to sly. I can't bring myself to trust them."
