Riulve: Dear Journal...
Passing of time...

Riulve sat upon her bed with her journal opened upon her lap. She was several pages inward and she was due to one day go out and buy a new one. For now this ratty old journal was good enough and still had quite a few blank pages and it was more than enough to scribble out a thought or two upon.

Her head tilted back against the headboard of her bed as she stared into space thoughtfully before she lifted up her pen and began to write. It wouldn’t be poetry and it would probably lack in length. Riulve didn’t often have much she wanted to keep to herself and often said what she thought of others directly to them. None the less journals were good for at least viewing one’s own actions even if it is in retrospect.

Journal Page
Dear Journal,

Not a lot has happened, other than the fact that Wynni had grown and I am now the mother of a small child. Again I find myself wondering what will happen in yet the next chapter of her life. Thus far she has been rather obedient and mild compared to most other children. She is helpful and kind to others, while being open and frank with many. Yet sometimes she tries to manipulate others and she has managed it a couple of times upon myself I just never call her out on it. Should I? Perhaps not…

Either way she has gotten her ears pierced as she has wished for a good long while now. I figure there is no harm in such a thing; it is just jewelry and pretty things. Little girls usually enjoy such adornments; I know I did when I was her age. Wynni has met quite a few of other spawn and seems to enjoy the unique qualities of each one she meets, I can only hope her open-mindedness will continue to grow instead of shrink in later days. My son Mana seems to be alright with his younger sister but they do not often interact but I suppose that is because of the difference in gender?

I have taken on a job at the Facility that had created Wynni. At first I didn’t think they would wish to give a parent the job but I guess I was pleasantly surprised but not as surprised as they seemed to be. Thus far I have managed to teach two classes of children and it seemed to go decently well for me. Wynni had her first class being taught by another as well. She didn’t take well to me refusing to teach her but I did not wish to bring about the idea of bias nor did I wish to risk taking it easy upon her just because she was my daughter, adopted or not.

That is all I can think to mention, it has grown late and I am weary...

Signed,
Riulve Drunhild

The woman closed the journal and tucked it into her nightstand. There would be no hunting tonight. Tonight would simply be an evening of relaxing and eventually drifting off into a land of sleep.

Wynni: Dear Journal...
New friends and reflection...

Wynni poked at her new journal with the tip of her pen as she sat upon her bed. Her tail coiled slightly behind her as she seemed to ponder. Her mother had given her the spare one the woman had kept in a drawer and then insisted she started to write in it with the assurance that there would be no peeking, ever. The idea of her own private thoughts recorded somewhere that no one else could read was wonderful. Though it seemed to bring on a whole new set of problems for the child, for example what if someone stumbles upon it and she had written something cruel about them? Things she didn’t mean anymore now that she had gotten the thoughts written out…The girl hated to hurt feelings.

Sometimes Mana got a wild bee in his bonnet, too. He’d been seen wandering into her room and getting her dolls and using them for ‘sacrifice’ for whatever odd adventure games he was playing. The sacrifice always seemed to include a burial at sea to appease the great dragon-monster that lived in the depths.

Wynni gave a small sigh as she flipped open the cover and took up the pen. If Mana did get into her journal she’d tell her mother and she’d have a talk with him. This, oddly enough, was a comfort…

Journal Page
Dear Diary-Journal-Thing,

I think I will just call you ‘thing’ from now on. Anywayz, there is not a lot I can think to say other than I had have met a quite a few new kids and saw some old friends, too. They are all pretty neat. People like Adhara who have tentacles like Adriel has tentacles and I named all the tentacles I have come across. Tentacles seem kind of neat I think. They have their own minds and feelings. Like Adriel’s tentacles – chii and fuu – were sick when I last saw them. It was very sad. I was surprised Adriel wasn’t sick too...They are a part of him, right?

Mom is seeing a guy named Hatty, still. I think she likes him a lot. I think he is pretty neat, has fun hair.

Mana is a pain since he got older. Keeps getting into my stuffs and being all stupid-boy like. I don’t understand him, Thing. I really don’t. He has pretty hair though and a nice tail. It is nice to see we both have tails makes it seem like we are a family! Now we need to get mom to grow one. Heehee.

I gotta go to sleep soon but I don’t feel tired – Oh! I met my birth mommy the other day. She was pretty nice. I think she liked me…Maybe next time I should go meet my birth daddy…Though I hear he talks a lot. I guess I can talk a lot, too. Maybe he’s cool looking, too. Birth-mom was kind of … Neat looking. She had wings like mine and she was always moving, moving, moving.

I learned how to hear better and I hugged my teacher afterwards. Hee. He was nice and very good teacher. Kind! I hope I can see him again.

Umum…What else? I feel like I am rambling now and my wrist is starting to hurt. Stupid wrist! I want to write a bit more. I met a child that likes to write stories. His name was Tykier. It is funny how we can kind of tell each other from the rest of the crowd sometimes. It is like we are connected somehow and we just know or it is just really weird coincidence. Like how I met Ebby…It is okay, though. I like all of my friends so far. Well most of them are friends.

Anywayz, this is starting to hurt. So I’mma go find something to do until I can sleep.

Bye Thing!
Wynnifred.

The girl set down the pen and closed the journal with a small sigh as she shook out her writing hand to ease out the cramps. She eyed the rambling-child script with a critical eye before the hybrid shrugged and began to hide the journal under her bed mattress. Wynni gazed around her room with a thoughtful stare. All of these things seemed so childish now. It is funny how having a journal could somehow make a girl feel so grown up! She crawled off her bed and began to tear the kiddy wallpaper off of her walls…

Sure she would get in trouble but maybe it would prompt mom to get her some new things to decorate her room with!

What the?! What is your malfunction!?

Riulve was going about her morning routine of waking up the children of her small household. She had been feeling mildly off as of late but had very little idea as to why but it was making her feel slightly more irritable than normal. With a hand resting against her midsection she quietly knocked against the door leading into Wynni's room, "C'mon pup, it is time to get up," the tall woman commanded. Riulve did not doubt that her charge had long since been up and was about to turn away when she heard a suspicious ripping sound from the other side of the floor followed by the clatter of something falling and shattering followed by a small gasp.

Wynni had been so intent on what she was doing that she didn't hear her mother call for her but now it all seemed to ring so clear into her ears and beat around in her skull now that she had broken something and realized the mess she had made, still it was her room and not her mother's so she should have the right to do with it whatever she wished! She gripped the torn bunny-and-carrot wallpaper in a single hand and gazed at the door as it flew open and Riulve stepped in to survey the mess and chaos that was now Wynni's bedroom. "Morning Momma," Wynni said cheerful but uncertain tone; her mother didn't seem as if she was having a good morning at all thus far.

The tall woman stood at the doorway and looked around with a bewildered gaze. Couldn't the child wait for anything or at least tell her that she wanted something new done to her room?! Her nostrils flared a little as she bit down on her temper and attempted to sooth the lurking beast of anger restlessly stirring beneath her normally calm exterior. Riulve cleared her throat, "Wynni you have a moment to explain the meaning of this and why you couldn't have waited until this morning to at least talk to me," she spoke between clenched teeth. Behind her Mana slunk past with his tail drooping a bit, the dark haired boy wanted no part of his mother's wrath.

"W...Well it is my room," the small girl said with an indignant tone as her arms crossed over her chest, the paper she had previously gripped in her hand fell to the floor amongst the other bits of paper debris. "I should be able to do what I want to it when I want and not have to talk to you," she continued her tone became haughtier and braver by the moment but as soon as she looked at her mothers face she immediately regretted her words and the way they had come out.

Riulve's face became darker and angrier as the child before her laid out her defense and her face had become an angry mask, "Is that so, little one?" she said in a deceptively cool tone but now the mint-haired child refused to answer for herself in fear of further incriminating herself. "This is my house. I pay for your food. I give you everything, pup, anything you ask for you get, right?"

This had to be a trick question still it seemed one that needed an answer no matter how uncertain she felt and thus Wynni nodded slowly as her pink eyes stared up at angered parent, "Y..yeah but I was so excited..." she said in a small voice. Wynni truly was excited when she had first decided to start the project but now the excitement and fervor she had felt was gone. Her tail hung so low it now actually touched the ground and her wings hung limply at her back.
The white haired woman regarded her daughter a moment and gazed about the mess of the room, "I will get you a mattress to replace your bed that you destroyed and that is all you shall have in here for a while."

"T-That's not fair!" Wynni protested as any glorious dreams for her new room were instantly flushed down the metaphorical toilet of doom. "A..at least let me have something on the wall!"

Riulve arched an eyebrow at the protest and her hands went to her hips as she loomed toward her daughter in an intimidating manner, "What was that, pup? You want things on your wall?! What if you get bored of those decorations and you tear those down as well!? Obviously you are unable to be trusted with anything nice in your room!"

Wynni's mouth gaped at the counter as she stomped clawed foot against the floor as her own young face went into its own visage of anger, "I can have nice things in my room! I made sure none of my clothes and earrings got messy and stuff!" she shouted back, "I can have things on my wall! I want things on my wall! I am grown up!" Tears fell from her eyes as she returned her volley of heated childish words.

With a sudden decisive swipe Riulve's hand lifted up and the side of her fist bashed into the wall next to the door jam, a loud roar of anger lifted from her lips before she could stop it. "YOU ARE GROWN WHEN I SAY YOU ARE, PUP. YOU ARE NOT THE ALPHA OF THIS HOUSEHOLD, I AM." Intense icy gaze rested on the flinching form of the child before her but the woman's expression did not soften.

Wynni stood her ground as best she could but soon flopped, literally, to the ground with a small frightened sob. Her hands fidgeted upon her lap as she tried to come up with something, anything before she shouted back, "I HATE YOU! YOU'RE A MONSTER! YOU WOULDN'T YELL AT ME LIKE THAT IF YOU LOVED ME!" She cried back and then followed it up with a couple of hiccups of her distress.

Riulve stared down at the child as if she had been physically slapped across the face. A hand gripped at the door way and she stumbled back a little, "Y...You're grounded, young one. Grounded until you clean this mess and I see that you have repented."

"W..What does that mean?" Wynni asked shocked out of her anger but still openly crying.

"It means, for the rest of today, at least I do not want to see your face. You are to stay in this room and only use the facilities as needed. Your brother will be here with your food and some garbage bags to help you," The woman said coldly as she reached for the door knob and slammed it shut behind her disappearing from sight.

Wynni let out a few sobs as her hands went up her face as if to catch the tears and wipe them away. It was all so unfair! Why was mother being so cruel!? She couldn't seem to fathom it at the moment with her mind whirling with all the angry words she had said and didn't mean. She didn't hate Riulve, no, quite the opposite. Wynni loved her adopted mother.

A few moments later Mana came with a tray of cereal and juice. He gave his sister a small sympathetic hug and a few comforting words before he left her to get garbage bags and then left her with her task. Mana had offered to help but she had denied him. Wynni was determined to do clean this mess all on her own and show her mother that she was capable of cleaning up her own messes, at least the ones on that laid about her room in form of debris and torn paper.

Awkward~!

User Image

A few days after the horrible fight between Mother and Daughter things had cooled down enough to allow for Riulve to bring Wynni her meals and make awkward conversation. They usually concerned whatever Wynni had learned that day about various subject when she could sit still long enough. The room had been rearranged several times since getting grounded and the affects of being locked up with nothing to do or anyone to really talk to. It had begun to show as the small girl had become steadily more irritable as the sentence wore on. On one evening Riulve had told Wynni that she was allowed to roam the home and any place outside on the premises so long as she didn't leave the property, they hugged, awkwardly, and then Riulve went to bed.

Some days later the child was no longer a child but a young pre-teen girl. She gazed happily at herself in the mirror before she snuck into her mother's room to steal an old baggy shirt and then wander down stairs to show off her new growth to her mother. Mana had already gone to help the elderly neighbor with something that morning.

Riulve was puttering around in the kitchen when Wynni found her and the white haired woman didn't bother to look up. For a couple of days her daughter had complained of aches and pains, other than that everything seemed normal. Riulve heard the familiar footsteps but didn't look up from what she was cooking on the stove, "Morning, pup. Want some warm cereal?"

The spawn giggled lightly as she watched her mother cook as she moved to stand next to her mother and watched she waited patiently for her to notice. "Sure," Wynni said cheerfully as she watched her mother stir the cereal in the pot, her tail twitched side to side contently.

The tall woman had noted something was off about her daughter's height and furrowed her brow as she continued stirring at the cereal because if she stopped the meal would instantly be ruined. Mayhap the child had brought a stool to stand on though the woman couldn't recall having heard the stool scoot toward her and why would her daughter need anything to stand upon to see anything stove height? Riulve chewed on this conundrum quietly as she glanced over at her daughter and blinked, still the change didn't register as her head turned back to the meal.

Wynni giggled again impishly as she shyly moved to hug her mother's waist, ducking a bit to do so.

Riulve moved her hand to rest it upon the child's head and ruffled at the short strands, a day before the neighbor's hairstylist friend, Emma, had come over and the woman had allowed Wynni to get her hair cut as short as she desired to help satiate her child's desire for change. All parties were rather pleased with the result. Shorter hair much suited the mint-green haired spawn.

"Notice anything different, mom?" Wynni asked quietly as her wings shifted against her back and her pink eyes peered up at the side of Riulve's face that she could easily see.

Riulve pursed her lips and the answer flew out of her mouth, "You grew," the woman said simply, she had the answer but for some reason until she had said the words it hadn't occurred to her. The white haired woman gasped, turned off the stove and stopped stirring the cereal. She could always begin anew as long as the stove wasn't running. The woman disentangled herself from her daughter, "You grew! Stand up straight let me have a look at you, pup," the woman chided softly. Despite the resentment and mild bits of anger the woman still felt toward her child she was still proud, so very proud.

The spawn giggled and blushed lightly holding her arms to her side and even managed to move her wings into a spread position, "Tada?" she offered with an uncertain tone.

The white haired woman laughed lightly and placed a kiss on her daughter's forehead, "Lovely, so lovely," Riulve said cheerfully. "Today we go shopping for some new dresses for you, but when we get home you are still grounded understood?"

Wynni was smiling until the end and simply nodded. She saw that what she had said still wounded her mother deeply but she wasn't ready to let go of her own pride just yet and apologize.

Soon breakfast was consumed and the two had made themselves ready to go out. Things were slightly less awkward between them, but not by much...

Swallowing of Pride...

Wynni shifted restlessly it had gotten to where nothing she did made her happy it was mostly the nagging guilt that she felt over the argument that her and Mother had shared. She quietly ran her fingers over the blue butterfly wing pendant she wore as she watched stared down at the project she had thrown herself into for the moment. She had been folding clothes for her mother to try and make an amends that way but no matter what it looked wrong to the preteen. Wynni uttered a small frustrated sigh as her tail lashed behind her in annoyance. Maybe this just wasn't cutting it. Shifting her shoulders and adjusted her wings as she stood up and began to wander toward Riulve's bedroom and found the pregnant woman sitting upright on the bed and simply meditating.

The spawn stood uncertain in the door way until she moved forward and sat on the edge of the bed and wait for her Mother to finish with a bit of the usual restless fidgeting.

"What is it, Wynni?" Riulve said suddenly as she opened an icy eye to gaze at her daughter with a bit of a curious gaze.

Wynni started lightly and then swallowed down the fright before she murmured, "I wanted to talk," she said evasively as she turned her pink eyes to gaze at the floor, though now and again she'd gaze furtively toward her mother from the corner of her eyes to gauge reactions.

Riulve opened the other eye and tilted her head, "About what?"

The preteen flicked her gaze back toward the floor and began to fidget nervously with her own fingertips, "I-I wanted to say sorry for what I said that day. I-I didn't mean it," Wynni said with of thick tone. "I don't hate you mama, I never did," a couple of tears squeezed out of her eyes, surprised Wynni wiped stubbornly at her face. Women don't cry. She was a woman now.

The white haired woman watched her daughter and her features softened a bit as she shifted on the bed to sit closer to her daughter, her arms draped around the girl and she hugged her close, "Pup, we both said things in a heat of anger. I forgive you," she said soothingly as her fingertips moved over Wynni's mint colored hair.

Wynni uttered a small sob in spite of herself as her fingertips reached up and clutched at the front of her mother's shirt, "R-r-really? I-I-I am gl-g-glad," she stuttered in between her sobs as she nestled against her guardian, her face buried against the shoulder and neck of the woman that held her, she cried openly saddened that she had even said these hurtful things.

Riulve smiled slightly as she shifted again, this time her daughter in her arms, to lay down on the bed and simply held on to her, "Shhh, t's okay. I love you, always. You're my pup and I am proud of you because you came on your own and apologized."

Wynni hiccuped a bit and nodded her sobs slowly dying down. She felt much better now that she had apologized to her Mother. She didn't hate the white haired woman, never did. The next thing Wynni knew she was fast asleep taking one of those rare naps in the arms of her Guardian. The emotional apology had taken a lot out of her.

The white haired woman gazed toward the ceiling as her fingertips ran over Wynni's shortened hair. Riulve began to hum a soft lullaby as her daughter slept and hiccupped lightly from her spilt tears.

You're what?!
This could get interesting...

You will never guess...

Augh packing is stressful...
That doesn't go there!!!

Wynni had been informed, in passing, that they'd be moving. The families of Riulve and Hatty would be joining together into a larger home, a mansion really, and that meant they needed to pack. This is something Wynni did with very little issue, what she did have issue with was the movers that came. They stared at her a lot and made her worry whether or not they'd be careful with her family's things. They were large, burly, and she was certain one of them smelled like smoke. Yeeuch.

The young pre-teen followed these movers from room to room as they picked up the boxes, sometimes followed by her brother Mana simply because he had nothing better to do.

"You know...It'll be okay Wynni," Mana said trying to calm her sudden uprising of worry and fear.

"But they handle everything so roughly!" Wynni replied with a bit of a fretting tone, her fingertips gripped into a bit of a fist as the slender girl watched one of the movers stomp past her. "Careful with that!" she called out as if the man couldn't read the words 'FRAGILE' across the side of the box.

The mover replied with a simple grunt to show he heard.

Mana shook his head as he brushed dark hair from his brow, "They're professionals. If they broke the stuff they're carrying they'd be out of a job," he pointed out logically, "c'mon play a game with me."

Wynni gave a small uncertain whine until Mana grabbed her hand and dragged her off toward the outdoors where the small outside play set was set up for them. For the most part the boy managed to preoccupy his sister with games of tag and clapping games.

When the movers were done everyone relocated to where they would now call home.

Again the slender mint haired girl followed the movers around this time she was telling them whether or not they were putting boxes in their rightful place or not, which caused more than a few rolled eyes from the movers and amusement from Riulve who was now following her daughter in Mana's stead.

"Mooom, why aren't you stopping them?" Wynni asked as they stood near the font door and waited for the movers to come in with the newest load of boxes to be brought in.

Riulve gave a sort laugh as she patted her forming belly, "Because, pup, you seem to be doing it all for me."

Wynni seemed to recall suddenly while she observed her mother, "You should be resting! You have a baby in your belly," the pre-teen chided with a bit of a frown.

The white haired woman gave an even louder laugh, "Yes, well, I'd get bored with that. Are you sure you're okay with me having a child?"

The slender girl blinked her pink eyes and shrugged a bit, "Why wouldn't I be?" while Wynni was distracted with the query the movers had slipped past now unmolested. They did everything they could to not call attention to themselves so that they could get their work done in peace. One of the movers gave Riulve a nod of thanks.

"Well not everyone is ready for a change this big," Riulve pointed out with a small smile as she reached forward and brushed a hand over Wynni's pale cheek, "after all you'll have to not only share me with the whole household but the baby most of all since it'll need a lot more of my attention."

Wynni shrugged her shoulders which caused her silvery wings to shift, while the tip of her tail twitched side to side, "That's okay as long as you let me help!"

The woman smiled and nodded a little bit, "Of course you will, Pup. I wouldn't be able to survive without your assistance."

The spawn gave a small happy keen and clapped her hands and then she seemed to realize something. Her eyes widened, "They got past me!" she shouted suddenly, mildly outraged, she was usually good at hearing the smallest thing but then again she had been distracted.

"HEY! Don't put those boxes in THAT room they don't go there you put them in..." Wynni's voice faded off as she spoke. Riulve gave another laugh and shook her head; her daughter certainly seemed to be incorrigible.

I dub thee...
Best big sister ever!

Wynni had been milling about the yard, doing busy work, when her Guardian and a small child came running up. The child had tentacles and horns and wasted no time bowling into her legs and latching onto them. The tall pre-teen wobbled a bit and looked over at her mother questioningly as the overly affectionate purple-and-black haired boy nuzzled his face against her legs. She noted the presence of silver-plated tentacles as well. One wrapped around her leg along with his arms and the other avoided touching her at all though it 'peered' up at her with detached curiosity.

Riulve chuckled a bit, "Meet your brother, Puck," the woman said simply as a hand rested against her belly as she watched the two more or less meet for the first time.

"B-B-Brother? R...really? You adopted another one?" Wynni sounded confused and more than a little baffled.

The white haired woman nodded a bit, "He needed a home. Much like you did. I am sure you understand, pup."

The mint haired spawn blinked and stared down at the boy and reached down and tentatively patted him on the head, "Yeah..J..Just surprising, didn't think you'd be..."

"Coming home with a new pup? Nor did I. Regardless, here he is. Mind keeping him occupied while I get stuff set up for him?"

"Err, sure." Wynni said with a small laugh and then peered back down at the boy to see him looking up at her all happy.

"You're my sister! What is your name? Mama didn't tell me your name!" Puck said cheerfully as Riulve made her way indoors.

"I'm Wynni, Puck. May I call you Puu or Puu-chan?" For some reason she just wanted to call him that, a strange urge but she gleefully went with it because it was cute, much like the boy before her.

He detached from her and nodded firmly. One tentacle waved about cheerfully having relinquished its hold while the other stayed as still as ever and observing carefully, "Yeah! I'll call you 'Nii-Sister!"

That was a new one but she nodded a bit, "Fi-fine. Do your tentacles have names?"

Puck paused and shook his head shifting from one foot to the other, he hadn't really thought about it not even since before he left the facility. "Should they have names?"

"Why shouldn't they?" Wynni counted with a small giggle.

The small boy paused again and shifted his shoulders into a shrug, "You help name 'em?"

Wynni shrugged as she began to sway side to side thoughtfully, "Sure, Sorcha and Zybelle?"

Puck gave a small face in response, "Nope," he replied with a shake of his head.

"Cois and Vide?"

Another shake of the boy's head and the tentacles began to behave almost as if they were insulted by the suggestions.

"Ziiba and Niicht?"

"Yes!" Puck gave out a cheerful call; even the tentacles seemed pleased now. "You are the best big sister ever!"

Wynni laughed a bit and shrugged, "I guess I am," she smirked a bit seeming to settle into the role of the boy's sister more easily now. Now how else to entertain him? Perhaps a game would do, "Want to play tag?"

Puck nodded and suddenly found Wynni chasing after him which caused to boy to give a shrill shriek of delight and surprise as he turned and began to run so he wouldn't get caught. The game kept them busy all the way up until dinner. After dinner Wynni showed Puck around the house and showed him where his room would be. After the tentacled boy was safely settled in Wynni broke out some coloring books and a couple of board games to play with him until everyone needed to retire for bed.

Back-dated PD: Pre-Puck!
New Friends..! (Trinket x Wynni: MSN)

Wynni had finished her errands for her household and had decided to go for a walk. Just recently her family unit had moved and merged with another family unit and the two became one, kind of. There were still some issues about boundaries but other than that it was mostly a flawless move. The young pre-teen spawn had wandered her way to the park and was simply getting to know her way around from her new home. She liked doing things on her own, it made her feel independent and free. Wynni gazed up at the sky from where she stood under a tree at the beginning of the park and smiled at the bits of sky she saw between the leaves and branches. It was truly a nice day perhaps a day to find new friends. After that refreshing thought she sighed happily and moved forward once more.

Trinket closed her eyes and tilted her face towards the sky, the light filtering through the leaves of the tree she was sitting under to tickle at her skin. Her mother was at the other side of the park deep in discussion with her agent, soemthing about photographers and panty-lines, and so Trinket was left mostly to entertain herself while the women talked. She liked this park, even more since she had grown since she could actually go on the swings by herself now. But for the moment she was content to sit under the tree, the blanket she was sitting on was soft and the tree was letting just enough light in so that she was comfy. Her tentacles were content as well, one curling against her side and the other tracing the lines the sunlight was leaving on her skirt.

For the most part she was wandering aimlessly but now she paused and stopped and had tilted her head at the sight of what she could only assume was a fellow spawn, but of younger age. Then again it could be something similar from some other place unrelated. Still the tall pre-teen felt a certain amount of kinship toward the younger looking girl who sat peacefully beneath the tree. After a second or two of these thoughts she started to make her way toward the girl, "Hi! Why are you here alone?" it was a question of curiosity more than anything.

Hearing soemone speaking to her, Trinket smiled and opened her eyes turning a bright smile on the older spawn. "Hi! I'm not alone, my mother is over there talking with her agent, and it's boring so I came to sit over here. Did you want to sit down too? You're very pretty." Trinket hadn't met very many other spawn and so far all of the ones she had met had been very friendly, she had no reason to believe that she wouldn't get along wonderfully with the other girl. She scooted over a bit so that the other girl could have a spot with sun on it as well, swatting at the tentacle petting at her lap, it never seemed to stop touching her, unless it was touching soemone else.

"Aww! Thanks, you're pretty too!" She said cheerfully as she moved forward after having been invited by the small girl to sit down. Carefully the reptilian legged girl made her seating coiling her tail against her legs in a neat manner. Her hands folded upon her lap as she rested comfortably next to the small purple spawn, "I hear ya about your mom. They start talking and being busy, no fun at all," she sighed lightly and shrugged. "My name is Wynni."

"Thank you! My name is Trinket." She glanced up at the leaves above them once more, "so why are you here alone?" It wasn't like the older girl needed a reason, Trinket was just curious. One tentacle, the more touchy one, moved forward across the blanket to poke at the other girl's tail, Taylor had a tail too and the tentacle loved to pet his tail.

"Good to meet you." Wynni said with a small nod. When questioned upon her motives for being at the park the pre-teen shrugged and giggled, "Just going for a walk. I finished doing things for my family so I came here to walk for a bit and see if I can make friends with others." Though she was mostly still her feet still moved in a manner that was all in minor subtle twitches and ticks, and it couldn't be helped. The girl glanced at the tentacle that made its way to her tail and giggled, "Hi~." Wynni addressed it directly.

The tentacle bobbed at Wynni, as if to nod before returning to petting at her tail and attempting to pet at her feet. Trinket rolled her eyes at the tentacle, fingers petting at the one cuddling close to her side. "Sorry about that, I can't really control it, Mother said that she'd let me take ballet though and that, the classes should help me lean to control all of my limbs, even the tentacles." Trinket couldn't wait until she could control her tentacles, they were always doing things, touching her or other people, even when she was trying to sleep they would pet at her hair and skin until she fell asleep.

She giggled at the response and shook her head, "No, no it is quite alright. I have many friends with tentacles! They are all very nice, usually." The girl said cheerfully. Thus far she hadn't had any bad experiences with the odd appendages with personalities all of their own. "I just have a tail, wings that I can't really fly with. Hee, weird legs, too. I like 'em though." Wynni said with a firm nod as if to confirm to herself that she was pleased at how she appeared.

Trinket grinned "I wish I had wings, even if I couldn't fly, that would be awesome." It wasn't that she disliked her tentacles it was more that she disliked how they refused to listen to her. As if on cue the more adventurous tentacle reached out and poked at a wing before settling down to continue petting at Wynni's leg and tail.

Wynni grinned, "Yeah, wings are pretty nice!" she sat up a bit and stretched her own wings out even as the tentacle petted at it. "My blood-mother, she has wings kinda like mine. She is very nice." She said calmly with a small nod. "Sometimes I wish I had tentacles too, so I could name them and be like my friends that have tentacles of their own, but then ... I wouldn't really be myself." Wynni said with a thoughtful tilt of her head.

"People name their tentacles?" The idea was new to Trinket, no one had ever told her that she was supposed to name her tentacles. "Was I supposed to give them names?" She was worried now that she had done something wrong, maybe everyone was supposed to name their tentacles and she was the only one who hadn't, maybe other people with tentacles would laugh at her for not having names for them.

The pre-teen blinked at the younger girl's mild distress after she mentioned that she would name her tentacles. She shook her head and quickly went to soothing Trinket's distress, "No, not that I had noticed. I ended up naming the last tentacles I met because their...People didn't do it for them," She said thoughtfully and she shrugged. "So I guess it is not a normal thing to do, but the tentacles all seem to be like their own person so I think they deserve a name, but no one has to think like I do."

"Oh. I guess that makes sense, I don't know what I would name them though." She poked at the tentacle curled at her side as if hoping it would prompt her with a name. No such luck.

Wynni smiled and shrugged, "I can help if you want. If you don't like the names you can always say no." The spawn was always glad to help another person in need no matter the age or gender. Besides it was fun naming the tentacles!

"Okay!" Trinket was excited at the prospect of the other girl helping her name her tentacles, besides maybe they would listen to her more when she had proper names to call them! The girl's tentacles for their part perked up at the mention of getting named stroking at the other girl's wing once again.

Wynni gave each tentacle attached to the smaller girl a meaningful look before she giggled and nodded. She finally gestured to the left tentacle, "That one is Tiima," the older girl offered before she gestured to the right one, "and that one shall be Sia." To her the names sounded pleasing, and appeared to fit, even if Trinket disagreed to the sentiment forever more they'd be known to Wynni as Tiima or Sia, but she'd call them by their other names if alternate ones were given to them.

"Tiima and Sia... I think those are perfect. Thank you!" And with that she leaped forward wrapping the older girl in a hug and giving her a kiss on the cheek. Tiima and Sia wiggled pleased with their newly aquired names wrapping the girl in a hug as well.

Wynni uttered a soft but happy squeak of surprise as her arms wrapped around the smaller girl and returned the hug with a small giggle, "It was my pleasure! I like doing that sort of thing, plus you three are so cute! How could I not help you," she said cheerfully with a grin as she quietly released the girl from the sisterly embrace. It was always wonderful to make friends no matter the age.

Trinket smiled and sat back, smoothing out her skirt as she did. "It was still nice of you to help." Tiima and Sia reluctantly went back to petting at the older girl's knee as her wings were now too far away since Trinket had sat back down.

"Haha, well, you are very welcome in any case." She said happily and she seemed to let out a small sigh and seemed relaxed despite the minor twitches and ticks her toes made as she sat next to the smaller girl. Wynni didn't appear to mind the attention from the tentacles at the moment as it was something in her environs she could easily control. If it bothered her or made her uncomfortable she would quite simply move away and hope the girl didn't become offended or confused. Silence enveloped the pair for a brief time before Wynni offered, "Did you want to play a game or something real quick before your momma comes and takes you away?" the older girl offered playfully.

As if on cue Ryvan appeared behind Wynni "Actually, Trinket has to get going now, she has ballet in an hour and still has to get home and get changed first. But maybe the two of you could meet again and play another time."

Trinket pouted a bit as she heard that she had to leave now, but perked right up again at the mention of her ballet classes, her teacher had said that she had a special treat for them today! "Yeah, it would be nice to see you again if you wanted too!'

Ryvan smiled and handed the child a card with her phone number printed on it "If you want to come play with Trinket give us a call and I can come pick you up if you live too far away to walk by yourself.

She gave a small meep at the sudden voice behind her and glanced back a little and gave a giggle. Ah darn! There came the adult to drag them apart, oh well. Wynni took the card with a respectful bow of her head and held it between two of her index fingers and read it intently as she nodded to the mother-unit of her new found friend, "Yes, yes! Of course, I would love to play with Trin-Trin again!" She said happily giving the girl an odd little nickname.

Wynni lifted a hand to wave her farewells, "You have fun at ballet!" the tall girl offered happily as she moved to stand, it was about time for her to go home anyways! It was almost dinner time.

Trinket smiled "You have fun too!" She gathered up her blanket after Wynni was no longer sitting on it and passed it to her mother to fold up as it was too big for her to manage on her own. "I hope I get to see you soon!" She waved at the girl as she followed Ryvan to the car.

The pre-teen waved after them cheerfully before she turned to make her way back out of the park humming a cheerful tune to herself as she did so. Wynni had done what she had come to do and that was make a friend and while it didn't seem to take an enormous amount of time to do it was still close enough to dinner time to make her start her way toward home, maybe if she arrived early enough she could help!
