Wynni idly walked amongst the Egyptian-style artifacts with a furrowed brow. Quietly she paused at a case that held the once proud form of some Pharaoh whose name she couldn’t pronounce even if she tried. She had surmised that the name needed some sort of awkward from the back of the throat.
The hybrid girl was all alone at the exhibit; her mother had allowed her to venture on her own. Wynni could tell that this was a test of sorts to see if she was trustworthy. The simple thought of that was enough cause the girl’s blood to boil in an irrational manner but on the other hand she was proud that her mother wanted to give her the chance to look out for herself. So the Diligence and Pride hybrid quietly swallowed the irrational emotion of anger down and focused only on the good aspect. If she came back and she proved herself worthy she could go out on her own more often.
Two silver specks shined upon both ears. Two small studs of decorated the lobes of her ears. She had talked her mother into not just one ear piercing but two. There was a time of healing between each piercing but it was worth the wait, the girl felt.
Quietly she reached out and poked the glass that contained the long dead Pharaoh. The mummies looked so tiny...

This was his first time in a museum...enjoying and yet hating his new sense of freedom from Chii and Fuu he let them drape around his arms like heavy boa's as he went around looking at the exhibits. Adriel was keen on learning...at least experiencing new things. Before the drugs he dared not bring himself here in fear of breaking something. Now it wasn't so bad, though...they were heavy.
He was nearing the end of his pills...know that he would have to go get more was a depressing thought but he pushed it away. The last couple of days he had suffered hot flashes...why he wasn't sure but it was damn uncomfortable.
Now he gazed at a portrait of some ancient pharaoh wondering to himself why they seemed to idolize cats when he spotted someone out of the corner of his eye. She was much taller than he remembered but those legs were the same...there was no doubt about that.
"...o..oh...h..Hi Wynni..." He called out softly as he turned to great her.

Wynni was so intent upon gazing at the mummy before her as if trying to unravel life’s mysteries from its dusty gauze bindings that she had not realized that nearby stood Adriel. Thus when he found her and then addressed her she uttered a faint squeak and jumped back a bit with a surprised gasp of words flying past her lips, “The mummy knows my name … Though the voice is awfully familiar…” Wynni said thoughtfully before she glanced around until her gaze fell upon Adriel.
The girl blinked a bit and then blushed, “O..Oh! Hi! It was you,” Wynni laughed at herself as she gazed down at the floor for a moment before she gazed up at him and then began to approach him a bit closer.
“Oh! You grew! You’re so handsome!” Wynni said cheerfully as she looked him over and then her gaze fell upon Chii and Fuu and her smile lessened. “What is wrong with Chii and Fuu…?”

Adriel smiled and tried not to laugh and managed to only give a faint giggle; Wynni was a lot taller, but still adorable as ever. Shifting the weight of Chii and Fuu on his arms he was getting accustomed to this question. Everyone wanted to know what had happened to his tentacles.
"AH...well...they arn't feeling well." He replied, as it was easier to just say this than it was to explain that the drugs he was taking basically killed their energy. His face went a bright shade of red as she complemented him on his appearance.
"a....h...t..thanks.." He murmured his gaze looking to the floor as he was unaccustomed to people giving him compliments like that.
"You...g..got really tall Wynni." He replied with a smile finally bringing his gaze back up to look at her.

The tall girl bent at the waist and peered at one tentacle and the other as her head tilted from one side to the other and her face formed a look of saddened sympathy. Poor Chii and poor Fuu! Not feeling well. She would have thought that their master, Adriel, would also feel the affects of the illness they felt but perhaps it was different with tentacle-spawn…? After all so many tentacles seemed to even exhibit personalities of their own so why not illness?
“Aww, poor guys, I hope they feel better soon,” She murmured as she straightened up to look up at Adriel once again. Wynni’s bright disposition returned gradually as she watched him react to her compliment and she let out a small giggle at his observation to her height.
“Yeah, I kind of like it but don’t at the same time. Kind of scared that I won’t be able to go through doors without havin’ to duck when I am full grown.” Wynni said with a playful grin as her hands folded behind her back. “I hope I can be pretty like you when I am older~.”

Adriel gave a small chuckle at her fear of becoming so tall that she would have to duck through the door ways. He continued to watch as she looked over his tentacles whom continued to just lay limply on his arms.
"Yeah I hope..they get back to normal..." He replied finding it funny tha beore he has only wished they would behave...and now he wanted them back the way they were.
"Ah..You are already pre..pretty Wynni. I don don't think you have to..hope." He murmured a bit shyly to her. She was different but she was very pretty in his mind. All her soft colors...and her legs were impressive.
His face went a deeper shade of red at his observation...why had he been staring at her legs?

Wynni nodded as she looked sadly at Chii and Fuu. Poor things! She felt the urge to reach out and pet them in a consoling manner but kept her hands to herself for the moment. They looked so sad just draping there, "Me too! They seem sad almost." Wynni stated her observation out loud.
At Adriel's compliment she blushed but grinned, "Thank you, y..you didn't have to say that you know." She shuffled suddenly feeling shy for the moment as her pale pink gaze flickered about the room for a moment even as she noted his deeper blush she tilted her head a bit, "What is wrong? Do you suddenly have a fever?" Wynni said in a concerned tone. Maybe the illness did reach the Chii and Fuu's host body! She stepped forward reaching for Adriel's cheek.
