Selena looked at Damian sourly. She didn't like the fact that try as she might, he always overshadowed her. Everyone always wanted to talk to him, to hang out with him, to be his friend. But when it came to her, they only wanted to talk to her to find out where Damian was. She resented this. It wasn't that she resented Damian, just his popularity.
Sullenly, she glanced over at the album. "Can I see?" she asked Anna, since Anna was holding the album. Selena hadn't seen the album yet because Damian, who insisted on always developing his pictures by himself, had done them at last minute before leaving and she hadn't had a chance to see. She hadn't gone to the dragon preserve because she wasn't invited. Damian had asked her to come along, but she didn't want to because she felt that he had done it out of pity, or brotherly duty, whichever came first. She wanted to go if she were wanted to be on the trip, but she wasn't, so she hadn't gone.
Damian eyed Selena, definitely not liking the look in her eye. He felt a lot of anger and resentment from her, but he couldn't figure out why. He always tried to help her and include her in everything he did, though she often times pushed him away.
"No, Anna, I didn't get lost." he said. "Though I had to ask the troll back there for directions." he added jokingly. Anna was quick to notice the burned bindings and he responded to her question, "Would you believe how much of a drama queen a dragon can be? If it isn't just right, they freak out and try to trample you. Honestly, no wonder there aren't very many photos of them as a whole, just drawings."

Anna blinked at Selena's expression, deflating soon after. She recognized that look, she knew it well. 'Jealousy.' She thought with an inward sigh, scratching the back of her head idly. She disliked being caught in the middle of things; even if said thing was mostly one-sided. When Selena asked her question, Anna nodded and scooted closer to the girl, slinging her arm across her shoulder so as to allow both of them better vantage points. "'Course you can." She smiled a bit, looking at the pictures for a moment when she had an abrupt epiphany. "Hold on, you didn't go?" She scrutinized the girl briefly, at the same time fighting the urge to laugh with obscure, certainly very odd results. Mostly it was a lot of muffled giggling and strange, gargle-like sounds and weird facial expressions. But she was just being Anna. In the end, she lost the battle and laughed into her arm so as to muffle the rather loud sound so as not to wake her sleeping housemates. She soon stopped, though, and looked back and forth between the two siblings with a serious expression, expectant for Selena's answer.

Selena smiled a bit, as she had been eager to see the photographs for herself, but her smile turned into a deep scrowl, especially when Anna started laughing. Personally, Selena did not see what exactly was so funny. "No, I didn't go. I had other plans." she said quietly. In reality, there were no other plans. She had wanted to go, but be invited by the group, not by Damian. She had spent that whole time either sulking or complaining to her muggle neighbors, without mentioning the magical world to them. She had simply said that Damian got to go on a trip and she hadn't been invited.
Damian arched his eyebrow at Anna's laughter. He also did not see what was so funny. He knew that Selena was lying about the "other plans", but he wasn't about to bust her. He sighed, completely exasperated with Selena at this point.

Anna quickly collected herself, going on looking at the pictures as if she'd never stopped. However, with her handy periphral vision she often used for quaffle-catching, she noticed Selena's scowl. Unsuccessful in her attempt to hide a smirk, she instead changed the subject. Rather, she broached the subject Selena most likely had no wish to talk about, merely to annoy her. After all, the privileges of being Anna Wilcox's 'little sister' came with teasing rights. "Oh?" She asked, feigning interest rather well - at least she liked to think so. "And what, may I ask, did you do instead? Why, if it were me and I'd been invited to a Romanian dragon preserve, I'd've jumped at the chance." She informed them sneakily, her index finger in the air smartly. "Mind you, not only for the fascinating sights and the bloody brilliant beasts, but for the golden opportunity of a life time to annoy Damian to death. Or at least close to it." She then flashed a grin at her date, before pretending to once again be entranced in the book.
( Right.. Sorry, but I'm tired. Good night, Jackie. <3 )

Selena's scrowl became more pronounced. "None of your business." she snapped at Anna. It wasn't that she was trying to be mean to Anna, but more of she didn't like to be teased or mocked.
Getting up, she said, "I'm going to bed." With that, she stalked off to the girl's dormitory. She was in such a bad mood that you could almost see a dark cloud looming over her.
Damian simply sighed. Selena was in one of her moods again and all Damian knew to do was to stay out of her way or else she would take her frustrations out on him. Damian sat down next to Anna to look over at the photographs with her.

Peter slumped into the common room, not really noticing if Beckett was behind him or not. Ducking as he went through the passageway, he was like he had grown half a foot over the summer. "I don't remember having to duck so far when entering the common room. If I grow any taller I wont be able to do a lot of things. Like drive." With a smile, not sure if he was talking to himself or not, he made his way over to an arm chair, sinking his tall toned frame into the cushions of the chair. His legs were stretched out, his pants almost to short compared to his legs. You could almost see his socks as he stretched his legs out.

Laughing quietly as she caught the portrait before it closed, Beck shook her head at Peter's words. She knew exactly how he felt. At nearly eighteen, Beck was five feet eleven inches tall. Nearly six foot was tall for a boy of her age let alone a girl. Her entire life, she'd been nothing but length and angles, but thankfully that had never bothered her. She was a tomboy to the core.
Leaning over the back of an empty couch, Beck let herself fall heavily onto the cushions with a satisfying 'flump and stretched out. A contented smile flittered across her face as the welcoming heat from the fire washed over her. Turning her gaze to Peter, Beck tried to recall if she'd actually talked to him about anything other than quidditch at dinner. Assuming that it wouldn't matter much if she had as he had probably forgotten it already, Beck decided to try and stike up a conversation and hoped her brain would cooperate.
"I don't remember if I asked you at dinner, so I'm asking now...or again if I already did," her smile turned to a silly grin, "How was your summer?"

Moira watched Beckett and Peter enter the common room, and gave them both a wave. They appered quite a pair, both being quite tall. Moira slightly envied Beckett's height, it suited her. Not that she was unhappy with her looks. She was cute, and she knew it. Not enough to be arrogant, arrogance was a pet peeve of hers. But enough to have self confidence. Which she knew was important. Her mother never let her forget it. She smiled. Her mother had been almsot a child herself when she had found Moira as an infant. They had practically grown up together, the three of them. Her father being the third. She felt a warm feeling settle in her chest. She adored her parents.
And they adore me. So then why did my mother ask me if I wanted to find my real parents?

With a smile, peter sat up and looked at Beckett straight on. He was dead tired, and sick of having to duck when entering doors. Putting his forehead in his hand, his elbow on the arm of the armchair, purposely messing up his hair. "My summer...Was summer. I was pretty much dead to the world. literally, my neighbors thought I was dead, or, well, that my dad came back since apparently I look just like him. We all know that my dad coming back is totally impossible, but our neighbors are like antcient so it wasn't a big deal. I spent all summer watching movies and trying not to get put on an MRI waiting list. Evelyn has convinced herself that something is wrong with me, considering how tall I am. I think she's just mad that I'm like, twice her height. You know my pain right, being tall and all. Though, I'm still almost half a foot taller than you anyways, and your tall for a girl. It suits you though." Peter saw Moira's wave, and managed a dashing smile towards her. How is this even possible. I feel like I could fall asleep here and now, yet, I couldn't just leave Beck and Moira here all alone. Could I? No, that would be rude. I'm to much a gentleman to do so. Peter started tapping his leg, bouncing it up and down, trying to keep himself awake.

Anna held up her hands in surrender. "Okay, okay, sorry I asked." She ended her tired for now, visibly wincing at the jaws in Selena's tone. Had she gone too far? Was it really only blood relatives' job to annoy the youngest? Feh. How stupid could you get? She shook off such thoughts of mercy - she didn't have an ounce of mercy in Quidditch, why have a drop in everything else? - and focused back on the photo book. Minutes later, the common room was silent except for the older Gryffindors on the couch. As such, Anna finished looking through the photos. She closed it and handed it to him, smiling a bit.
"I wish I could've gone with you lot... I imagine it was loads of fun."

Peter looked around, seeing Anna and Damien. He looked and noticed that the small Fourth year wasn't there with them. He could almost feel the tension going on with the small group behind him. "What's wrong with Poor Selena? Were you being mean to her again Damian? She's so sweet, how could you be so mean to her?" Of course Peter was teasing him, but still. Poor Selena, hopefully she'll have better luck being popular after Damian leaves. She's so pretty too. Stop Peter, she's like fourteen and your best friends younger sister. Poor kid, Damians so mean to her. Well, I guess he's not mean, but she keeps getting shoved into the back ground. maybe I should do something nice to her. Get her something at Hogsmeade. "So," He started, turning himself in his chair, looking at Anna. "He kiss you yet?" With a playful grin, he smiled at Anna, the girl was only slightly younger than him, but he was still a gryffindor.

Anna's face flushed. However, she chose to ignore it and was determined to do a valiant job. She glanced up at him, flashing him a side-long grin. "Not yet." She responded truthfully, the redness in her cheeks only made more prominent by her scarlet and gold tie. However, like mentioned earlier and because. she. was. Anna., she ignored it.
"'Bout you, Pete-pete, had your first kiss, yet?" One simply could not be teased without teasing back; things simply didn't work that way. And after a few years of being on the Quidditch team with him, she thought she knew him well enough for that level of poking fun.

At six feet, eleven inches tall, Nicodeamus was the only Griffindor who was taller than Pete and Beck. He chuckled, sauntering over to them with a smile. "Ey, Pete, if you get any taller, I'm going to start thinking your Nordic," the tall man said, grinning, "Though, I think that impossible. I'll always be taller, I assure you." Nico saluted Beckett, winking to her. He'd always avoided flirting with her, for fear of facing the Seventh year's wrath. This year, however, was his last, and hopefully, he'd flirt with the girl.
"Yo, Beck. How are ya? And Anna, Damian's probably never going to get the courage to kiss ya. Take the initiative," he called to her, grinning. He was taunting Damian, the two weren't enemies, and he was actualy friends with the guy. Again, he was seated in an enlarged chair, this time, laying back on it, so as to stretch his legs. His booming voice seemed to echo, and the chuckle seemed magnified.

Peter grinned, glad that he had successfully gotten Anna to blush, and to that lovely shade of red too. When she said 'Not yet', he smiled, sure that Damian would do it soon enough.
However, when she called him Pete-pete, his smile faded instantly into a frown. His sister tried to call her Pete, but since that was what everyone called his father, it saddened him. Evelyn immediately stopped calling him that after the accident.
Returning a smile on his face, he stood up, and walked over to the fireplace, leaning against the stone work. The only reason he was up was because if he sat down he would fall fast asleep. If he wanted to continue talking to his friends, Anna, Damian, and the beautiful Beckett, he would need to stay awake.
With a dashingly sexy smile, he looked at Anna head on, bound to make her feel inferior. "Don't worry love, I've gotten a lot more action than that. Way more." He emphasis on the 'lot'. Bound and determined to make sure that she knew he meant that he had gotten farther with a girl, not farther with multipul girls. Peter had only had one girl friend, who he was bound and determined that he loved. After three years she dumped him for an exchange student, and left him crushed. Peter didn't like to talk about her much, not after he had finally gotten over the girl.
Turning his attention to Nic, his expression changed from playful, to depressed rather quickly. The name 'Pete' always struck a nerve. Peter wasn't the first Peter Lauritz, he was the second, and so no one got confused, he was always Peter, and his father was Pete. "Please..Nic, don't call me Pete." With a sad look in his eyes, he managed a rather meager smile, crossing his arms, letting his messy brown hair fall into place. "And about the height thing, of course you'll be taller than me, unless I turn out to be part Giant, which would mean that my mother had an affair with a giant. Considering that both of my parents were rather normal sized.." He managed a smirk, mainly fueled by his muscle urge to yawn. Resisting, he instead took a deep breath through is nose.
