Would someone mind explaining what a Weapons triangle thread is doing in a subforum about pairings, characters, and plot, when none of the three have anything to do with it?

I hesitate between axes and lances, but in the end, lances have awesomer critical hit animations. <3
And yeah... this thread is in the wrong subforum. o-o;;

IRL, Lances would best both axe and sword with its superior range and the face it can actually be used both on foot and horse-back.
In FE I'd choose Axes. My reasoning is because most enemies use lances.
Although, swordmasters are the exception. They defy the weapon triangle with any sword.

Swords definately, alot of FE games start with Brigands and Fighters almost exclusively, making them really useful.

I like lances as they are...
~Cheap
~Light enough for calvary/peg knights to double-hit early on in the game
~Long and short range
~Easy to A/S-rank in, there are lots of myrmidons and mercanaries towards any FE's middle
~More accurate than axes, but stronger than swords

I have to say swords, for the simple fact that i always end up with all swordsmen teams unless i try to use other types. X0

Swords all the way! All of my favorite characters can use them, and give a swordmaster a killing edge heart heart heart Killing Lances just aren't as awesome. Also, they have better hit than axes, which are my second choice because they're Hector's main weapon (but he can also have swords once upgraded so yay!!!). There's a reason all the main characters in that game can use swords and it's nothing more than because they're awesome.

I like swords, then lances, then axes.
Though if we were counting more than just those three, it would be: Magic, Bows, Swords, Lances, Axes.

I like swords. especially because you have weapons like the wind blade that can do direct and indirect damage. I love a versatile weapon. and on a personal note, I think swords are sexy.

Ransom of Thulcandra I have to say I like Axes, they're strong and they almost always hit for me, not too mention Berserkers, my favourite class. I will admit that axes are really cool, especially in the hand of Berserkers, who are powerful and have a lot of hit points.

I can't believe I'm saying this but... Lances. Most of the lance units I've ever used have well, never laet me down. From the suckiest I've seen {Aran of Rd yes I don't number them xD I can't remember the dang order"} to... well I've experienced a bunch of lance users here and there but I don't really know who'd qualify as the best lance user. Point being thogh, their skill's at a nice number, enough to not miss like most of my axmen do. They're stronger than swords so that's a major plus for me, and most of these units that are given to us are on mounts. And well, I luffles my mounts with a passion {the flying ones more than the ground units} I could give a nice complex reason adding to why I like the lance best of the three weapons but I'm feeling real lazy right now :3
