Xleia or whatever didn't really develop her point enough, and basically just said that younger kids are incapable of romantic emotions without backing it up. So s/he/it gets a nay.
RebornIzzy successfully ignored the part about "just pick one", and merely gave his/her opinions without really supporting them. Me say nay.

samsonite ok, everyone down to holytoast has been sent an email with the appropriate next steps in the process to join IPG... Side note I was wondering if maybe we should denote specific duties to mods. like maybe 2 mods for each one. the duties can overlap. Just a suggestion. I think if certain mods want to take on specific tasks that would be alright. We don't need to assign them to it permanantly but if someone rather only deal with modding posts or watching the request list, they can feel free to do it. As long as nothing is left neglected.

I'd say nay, as well, and nay to this one...for reasons you'll soon see. RocknRoolDragon every1 seems 2b so closed minded about gays. 1person mentions there gay and every1 starts 2freak. It's wrong and disgusting they say. why can't they just let people be? gay marriges should be allowed. they were born that way...they cant help it. and maybe thats what makes them happy. gay couples have every rite as straight couples 2get married. so the difference is that its 2ppl of the same sex...big whoop. people who r prejudice against gays should seriously b shot. they're ppl just like u and me. let them get married if they want.

Heres somethin' from RebornIzzy, and he seems to understand the concept better this time... RebornIzzy Gay rights. This is one I can relate to being bisexual myself. Gays are far to susepted to predjuice. People seem to be navie to me, being afaird of what they don't understand, therfore they want gays out of socitey. Gays are poeple too, not freaks of nature or anything like that. It has been proven we have a sexual orentation at birth, and it is something that can not be helped. Gays should have the same rights as everyone else, in my veiws. Because why should we not let someone marry due to there sexual desieres? Also why should we turn down love? If a man loves a man or a woman loves a woman, that should be accepted by soceity, I think that everyone should be treated fairly and given the same rights. Regardless of age, sex, seual orentaitn, race,religoin, the list goes on and on but it boils down to one thing. People are people, regardless of what they do or say, and thus for should be treated with dignety and respect as any other person.

Yeah, it's more of their opinion which is fine and all but in a debate it really holds for nothing. It's the weakest form of argument. Though since we rarely debate hardcore, I suppose it's fine with me.
Also, I've asked that question a few times and I find we either get an outpoor of ones personal experience (because a lot of bi/gay people tend to want to join an open minded guild), or they don't know what to say because it's a touchy subject and they tend to think we grade them on how open they are towards homosexuals.
Maybe we should look at a way to rephrase it as to not get someones history and not corner the others to say they're all for it if they really aren't.

for gay rights maybe just put in a disclaimer; stating that we don't want it all based on personal experience and that we won't judge on one's own feelings. Just on how well they can prove their feelings?
