Fernpelt lept foward and tripped Fireheart and then sat on him in victory. "I beat you." She purred in delight.

Fireheart smirked then kicked out with his hind legs, knocking her off before he scrambled to his paws and pounced on her, tumbling around on the ground near the river edge. "I thought you said you won?" he meowed.

Fernpelt purred. "I guess you won then." She got up and licked her messed up fur. "What do you want to do now?" She asked.

Fireheart looked around as she spoke and realized it was starting to get dark. Their clans would be wondering what had happened to them by now. "Maybe we should get home soon? Won't your clan be wondering where you went too?" he asked all the while slowly creeping around to stand behind her, swishing his tail as he leapt over her and landed back where he was standing before.

"They probably won't worry if I bring back prey." She mewed she didn't want to depart with Fireheart just yet. She wanted to reveal her feelins towards him but how would he react?
((Fireheart should be teh one who says he loves her.))

Fireheart nodded in agreement and then he was standing next to her, their pelts touching without realizing he'd even moved. And... he was purring? When had the subconcious thoughts gotten the better of him? All he knew was that now he felt really embarrassed and started to move away, she probably thought he was crazy!

Fernpelt purred as his pelt made contact with hers but then quick as a flash he moved away. What was it that she sensed pulsing from him? It seemed a bit like what she felt towards him. What did it mean?

Fireheart turned to look at her, nervousness and embarrassment plastered on his face as he spoke softly, barely audible. "Um... Fernpelt... I uh... well... I think..." he stopped, trying to get his words and thoughts in order he took a deep breath and then just spit it out. "I think I love you." he meowed and quickly looked down, ears flattened to his skull like a kit that was being scolded.

Fernpelt was shocked yet pleased by what he said. "I love you too." She purred softly. What would the clan think of them? She didn't care. All she knew was that they couldn't get caught or they'd be in serious trouble.

Fireheart stared at her, shock and disbelief in his eyes. Had she really just said that she loved him back?! He nearly fainted from the shock but he shook it off and walked to her, touching noses before looking around. "I'll see you later but we both need to be getting back to camp. Meet you here tomorrow?" he asked as he turned to head back to the ThunderClan camp.

Fernpelt nodded and padded back to camp. She was really excited and at the same time she was scared but she pushed those toughts out of her mind and stayed happy.
