Holidays are becoming nothign but comercialism anymore and gaia sadly is becomeing the same the GIB and the SDSG are the only reasons i log on anymore.

Sakura_Madison They have been so money envy, that they forgot about a weekly comic and others.
I want to know what happens with Louie and Moira. I want to see what happens with them on Valentine's Day.
Off the topic:
Also, I know that Moira is a vampire, remember the Halloween event.
If she is, then they should of changed her picture in the shop as a vampire.
Back to topic:
I hate Valentine's Day....
HA! They haven't even put Ian back in his shop. Do you really think they'll be changing Moira anytime soon? Aaaaand, they're getting lazy on the shop costumes during events. Normally, every year they change. Not only don't they change anymore, they don't dress up all the shop owners. Moira isn't going to look like a vampire and Ian is never coming back. Why? Capitalism! STUPID BLOODY CAPITALISM! Money over people. Once again, Gaia is proving that it is an American business. Choosing to get money in their pockets over helping those who are in Gaia.

I'm getting really, really sick and tired of everyone viciously attacking Gaia at every turn. Gaia isn't a faceless non-human entity. It's PEOPLE. People who have problems and difficulties. People who would probably like nothing more than to give everyone everything they want right now, but they can't because reality doesn't work that way.

Last I checked you don't do anything to help the situation at Gaia. Sure you buy a couple MCs here and there (and I don't even know if you actually buy them with real money or not), but that's not enough. And when people start to stop sending money in boycotts and whatever, it hurts them more, even if it's just a little. And when they get less money from MCs, they have to get more sponsers, maybe some out of a mix of desperation and oppourtunity. Gaia gave you a vampire skin, Zi. Are you grateful for that? They gave Red October a gun. I know she's grateful for that. (sorry for namedropping you, Red...) They can't please everyone all the time. To try would be not only a hopelessly futile endeavor, but it would probably drive a person insane. Yeah, you're a person, Zi. But at least Gaia is TRYING to make you happy. And all you do in return is throw temper tantrums when they do something that might not even be intended for your personal happiness, but rather for someone elses, who is just as much a person as you are. And you only threw in that socialism comment to try and be irritating. I don't care if you like socialism. All I was doing was trying to educate people on what capitalism is and what it is not.

I have to agree with Erura here. Maybe it's just because she said a lot of what I've quietly been thinking in my heart heart of hearts heart , but... I agree either way.
Gaia is doing it's best. When we surmise to know what they are machinating, we decieve ourselves, as do all who attempt to read the 'mind' of a corporation as if it was one single human brain.
Doesn't work that way. Gaia the community is people, and Gaia the business is lots of people who need to agree on the path to take for the future of the site. Maybe... just maybe... they are THINKING AHEAD, saying that if they sacrifice now, maybe we can still be alive in 5-10 years. Thought of that before?
The faceless 'Gaia-beast' people seem to imagine does not exist. It is a series of people, just like us. Sometimes, things get lost in translation, if you will.
