Fernpelt decided to go for it she walked up from where she was at and walked slowly to Fireheart. She mewed a simple hi to him. She wanted him to rekindle their love because she just didn't know what to do.

Fireheart turned his head when she approached. "Hey, how are you?" He tried to start a conversation with her that wouldn't spur suspicion but that would show her he still cared.

Fernpelt looked up at him, "I'm fine, how about you? Then more softly she whispered, "I'm sorry about all that happened last night, I was just scared, and I didn't want to leave." She wanted his love again she could hardly sleep the night before.

Fireheart looked around then brushed her side with his tail when he was sure no one was watching. "I'm fine, I just wish you would've left when I told you too then we could've both avoided getting hurt." He was glad she was alright but they still needed to stop seeing eachother so often.

Fernpelt walked through the forest on the way back to camp but she was distracted and thinking about Fireheart. When she got back to camp she went directly to her nest thinking about him.
It had been a few days now. She headed out to the forest and walked slowly to the ThunderClan border and sat there waiting. She wondered if Fireheart would come because they hadn't planned a day to see eachother.

Fireheart sat waiting at the edge of his territory, the same meeting place he and Fernpelt had always used. He had been coming every night since the gathering, afraid of missing a chance to meet with her. Suddenly he caught her scent on the breeze, at first he thought the wind was playing tricks on him but then he saw her, coming towards him and he bounded across the ground to meet her. "Fernpelt! How are you?" he asked while anxiously looking her over to make sure she was still all in one piece.

Fernpelt purred in delight at the sight of the red cat. "I'm fine how about you?" She batted him playfully in the nose. She had missed him so much.

Fireheart nuzzled her and purred with delight. "I'm well." he replied, leaving out the fact that he hadn't slept much since the gathering and that the suspicions of his clanmates seemed to be growing day by day as he got more and more out of it from lack of rest.

Fernpelt slowly brushed herself against Fireheart. She purred at the comfort of his pelt. "We need to decide days to meet." THe suspicions in her camp were slowly dieing down and she was really glad for that.

"I know... I've been thinking about it and I think every three or four days would be good. We wouldn't raise much suspicion then." He sat down and stared at her, searching her eyes for a response to the proposal of seeing eachother only once or twice a week.

Fireheart nodded, the moon was beginning to creep down in the sky. It really was time to go. "I'll see you in four days." He mewed as she turned away he watched her go, waiting to see her safely out of sight before he turned and headed back to camp, sneaking into his nest he curled up and slept till he was awoken by a paw jabbing him in the side to rise him for dawn patrol.
-Four Days Later-
Fireheart slipped out of camp once again as the moon shone brightly in the sky, pools of the light shone on the forest floor through the filter of trees. He stood waiting anxiously at the river's edge. He was nervous, because tonight he planned to ask Fernpelt if she would have his kits. If she would let him bind them together in a way that could not be undone... and because of this he paced, and flicked his tail and his ears and didn't even notice when she finally appeared on the other side of the river...

Fernpelt had padded noislessly on through the forest to their meeting spot. Her paws were moving slower than usual and she wondered why.
It seemed forever but she finally got there she plunged into the icy cold water and swam on to the other side. The swim woke her up it seemed. She padded over to where Fireheart was at and mewed, "Fireheart, it's been a while. How have you been?" She purred wrapping her slim RiverClan body around his.
