Well I kind of think they look similar and they may not be exact doubles but htey're close enough to fool some ppl, besides they have Inuyasha in common and being priestesses with immense spiritual pwers that in it self will onfuse anyone with any knowledge of Kikyo before her zombie days anyhow.

punkrockvampire06 In the show they are all like "oh they could be doubles!!!!". But how do they look anyting alike? Hair color and skin color. Thatz about it.... I know i dont think kagome looks like her only by a bit

The main differences that I can see is the way their hair falls, their eyes are different and the way that they talke and carry themselves. Other than that they look kinda similar.

they both look a like but also if you guys see in the movie there also look like inuyasha's mother as well.

Well, it's an anime. The biggest thing that makes people look different is their hair and make-up. Everyone looks the same beyond that. They look alike to me. Except Kogome's eyes are bigger and Kikyo has make-up.

but then at the same time kiko loves inuyasha so its like a battle

They look more alike in the manga.
As for the anime I think it was probably intentional if anything, that they don't look exactly alike for us. After all their eyes, hair, skin tone and personalities are far from similar but it obviously seems like they are similar to the characters themselves.

their eyes aren't the same...and the personalities are definitely not the same( except for them both liking inuyasha)...but i think that for the most part there are some similarities...
