They are both wrong, but any 17 year old guy who EVER sleeps with a 14 year old girl is effing disguisting and should be tried as an adult for statutory rape. I don't care if it's only a 3 year difference, those years are where you are changing from a child to an adult, and 14 is to young to be doing things like that.

It goes both ways with certain situations really. if the girl is a slut and she goes after a guy who she knows is easy bait then its her taking advantage of the guy. cuz come on we all know guys are idiots and they cant keep it in their pants when pressured (im speaking in generalizations) i would have to say in this situation the 'slut' is in the wrong, if they are around the same age. but when it comes to older dudes 'taking advantage' or raping younger girls its just ridiculous and it pisses me off. i've heard some stupid excuses from guys like 'oh man like she was all over me and i just couldnt stop what i was doing' stupid stuff like that. and im like 'what the heck man.... she is like 4 years younger than you... come on man grow up and keep it in your pants!' its just ridiculous! in this situation and i will admit that its the guys fault like atleast 60% of the time, its the guy taking advantage of the girl. guys just need to grow up and learn that its easier to just keep it in your pants than go out and seek sex from girls who dont know better (which they should know better... thats a different debate though). guys are just pretty much dumb when it comes to anything lol especially anything dealing with relationship

Darkchild06 I'm dealing with this same situation. My sister is young and her bf is is way older than her. She been dating older guys since she was 14. I thought that is very hoe-ish. Young girls these days all want some, there all hoes, but if a dude wants to take advantage of her than he is a hoe. Therefore witch ever way it goes there all hoes. If you ask a girl her age what she wants in a guy is that he is "mature" maybe we need to teach what "mature" is a little better. A real man is not a man that will satisfy her sexually and then be completely aloof, a real man is someone who cares for his woman, is responsible, and knows where his loyalties lie.

That seriously disturbs me.

Ok, the sluts are bad. But the guys who take advantage of them are worse.

One should not point fingers in the first place, that I have to say outright. However, "easy" girls are just girls who for some reason or other are seeking attention or affection they don't get at home-for the most part anyway. So, the guys who take advantage of them are pretty sick. What makes more disgusted about all this is that the girls are branded slut, but the guy goes back to school a stud.

My view: the slut However, I'm held in a unique position
My current gf, who I love dearly and will never leave, has a personality that could be, to some, slutty, however, without understanding her, that would be your assumption, but you spend one day, even one hour talking to her, you know that she's the greatest person that ever lived. All of her friends, my friends, and both our families know this.
However, when the girl is intentionally "slutty", that is where she is the bad person. In my opinion, she is manipulating the guys she sleeps with. The guy has a choice, but she knows how to use his feelings to get what she wants.
And nobody say anything about my relationship, its a real relationship, not a sexual ("friends with benifits") one. (<- that type is what defines a slut)

it can really depend if the guy is using the girl for sex, like another notch in his bedpost. and there's this thing that younger girls go for older guys because these guys are 'more mature' than the ones her age, which usually just leaves her to being taken advantage of. but i'd imagine it's the guy more than the girl, because he's likely benefitting from the moment more than she is. and i've heard guys say that a lot: that the sluts are pretty much used to dump off sexual energy. there seems to be this clear distinction of the lady and the slut, and most guys just want to do freaky things with the slut, but be seen in public with the lady. that aint right or fair.

My Answer Is: Nither
It is up to the people of that school to call the girl a "Slut". Maybe she has liked him for a while and decided to finally break and give herself and her virginity up to him. Does that make her a "slut?" My definition of a slut is probably the same as yours. A girl who sleeps with many guys. I don't think it means: a girl who gives herself up to a guy. People need to grow the hell up.

I think its utterly wrong to take advantage of people no matter what gender even if they are a slut everyone has feelings and no one likes being hurt.I use to take advantage of people in more than one way but some one did it to me and i din't like it and i was hurt...and i hurted bad. I know how it must of been for the ones i used and abused but i dont think anyone should ever have to go through it no matter how nasty they are or slutty.

I'm just going to post this lovely quote by Dossie Easton:
"A slut is a person of any gender who has the courage to lead life according to the radical proposition that sex is nice and pleasure is good for you."
but to answer your question: if anyone isn't upfront about their intentions (sex w/ no strings, no obligations to each other) and deliberately leaves to believe anything other than that, In my opinion doesn't make them a good person. Not exactly a horrible person, but someone who shouldn't be trusted easily.
