"Good job! See there? It just takes a little bit of concentration," Firesnare praised, she took the fire that was there an made it more compact, lifting her hand and waving slightly. It twisted into the shape of a hook, "And eventually you'll not even have to worry about control."
Andy ducked his head and did now begin to take a few steps back.

Fiona watched Firesnare jealously as she morphed the fire into the hook. She couldn't wait till she had just as much control over fire as well, crafting it into whatever she wished it to be. Of course it was going to take a lot more training she realized and her handicap with emotions was not going to help.
"Will it take long?" Fiona asked curiously. It didn't really matter to her how long it took, but she liked to know time frames so she could prepare for other things.

Firesnare shrugged, "Some people take a very little time, and others take a much longer. If you want to become effortless about it, and powerful, it'll take at least five years. Longer, maybe. Ten. It just depends." She gave Fiona a curious look, "So, all you want to do is control it? That's it?"

Ten years?! She would be close to thirty by the time she was done! That was not a very appeasing thought, five sounded better. Which means lots and lots of training, she thought a bit sourly.
"That's a long time....." Fiona squeaked. "But if I really want to be good at it, I'll do it for that long." If I'm motivated to go that far.... she added in her thoughts.
The look Firesnare gave her made her feel a bit nervous. "What do you mean? I thought all I could do was control...."

"Well, there are all sorts of Supers," Firesnare nodded, "Like myself. And Photon." She shot a look at Andy, whose head snapped up and, for the first time, he gave a very definite disapproving frown. She turned back to Fiona, her encouraging demeanor never changing, "And Flashcharge. Then are other useful, everyday things you might be able to do. Remember the big fires that suddenly disappeared in California a few years ago?" She nodded, "That was me. I compacted all that fire and dumped it in the ocean. Would you like to do things like that?"

Fiona had come to get training on control, not to become a Super! Her head was starting to hurt from all the info she was having to digest in one meeting. Then again she brought it on herself with all her questions.
"I-I don't know... It's a bit unexpected..." she managed to say. "I-I'd like to try, but I don't think I'm cut out for stuff like that....." She hated herself for saying that. Why couldn't she be brave and stop fires and save lives? She was just being a sissy again... "B-but I would like to try my hardest for that.... Even if I stink at it..." If she could learn this she could stop fires like the one that had killed her dog or even better, ones that were like the ones Firesnare faced!

OOC: While FS had certainly implied that Andy was Photon, or at least really liked the hero/had connections with him, there really isn't any reason for Fiona to be 100% -- or even 30% sure that Andy is Photon. He hasn't shown that he's had any powers, just that he has some knowledge of.
Firesnare nodded with a smile, "Great! Then we'll set a training schedule up for you! Do you have any questions about any of this?"
OOC: -- Where would you like Fiona to show up next? Any ideas? I'll come up with some if you don't, but ideas are always super welcome!
I think this RP is heading off to an end as well. They've really done what they've come to do. We can summarize a little that they looked into training some more, but I doubt anything substantial would happen.

((Sorry about that! ^^;; Was sort of brain dead when I typed it up. Took it out now xP))
Fiona shook her head, no need getting confused again. "Nothing that comes to mind." Even if she was nervous she couldn't wait to start training.
((Ummm... Nothing really important that comes to mind. I want her to meet some other trainees her own age sometime soon though.
