darkhorsegeorge whispering muffin Its not exactly David Tennants fault ...at all... but I hate how ever since he came the writers feel the need to make him fall in love with every damn woman he meets? I mean seriously..... or to the reverse of that every girl falling in love with him. srsly. martha saw him and you bet in her mind she was prolly like i wanna jump his bones RTD just needs to get his sexual frustrations out. maybe he should be given the opportunity to do an adult show. maybe with aliens and lots of sex with the chance to include lots of gay moments if need be. hmm... from what I could tell that would be Tourchwood.

Yeah. I've never seen it, but I've heard it's *ahem* raunchy. On topic, I'm way behind, but I'm not sure, either, about having him scream at the mood dealers in "Gridlock".

I watched an episode of Torchwood that was on the other night. OMIGOD its so terrible... the issue was like... an alien addicted to sex? SERISOULY. stare
there was one cool thing. spoiler for anyone who doesn't plan on watching Torchwood(highlight): Jack gets shot in the head and lives cause Rose totally made it so he can't die. XD I just though that was pretty awesome. :]

Family of Blood is in charater really. He and the 7th Doctor are the Darkest of the Doctor's previous personalities really
I hate that they keep playing up the Doctor's love life. With Rose it was kinda interesting something showing a more human doctor.. But honestly Why is Martha in love with him, she has no reason to be other then to be in love him. I could understand a crush the 10th is: good looking Has a fantastic personality
but still

Muskratio Galaxy_defender To be honest, half of those things you said weren't that bad, in my opinion. The running with the flame in Fear Her was hilarious. He was acting out of character in Human Nature/Family of Blood because he was out of character. He was John Smith, not the Doctor. Selling drugs to get rid of things is stupid. Forget?? Why would you do that? It's morally wrong. Scooby Doo/Ghostbusters impersination was funny.
Things I disliked about Tennant's Doctor; *Daleks in Manhatten/The Evolution of the Daleks [That was just apalling] *He was too.....vunerable. He cried to much. As cute as it was, I felt the Doctor shouldn't be that emotional. *Mentions of Rose were okay, but she was mentioned a bit too much.... I meant at the end of Family of Blood, after he became the Doctor again. :B But I could go into a HUGE rant about how the Doctor, in any shape or form, would not have sat there blibbering spinelessly about his own happiness while thousands of people were being killed and he could easily stop it, and about how changing himself to a human really isn't that different from regenerating, during which his personality never changed its CORE. >.> And I sorta just did. But what I was TALKING about was the end, with all the punishments and s**t. That was just stupid. Compared to most of his enemies, they didn't do practically anything, and he blows up on him? And then he can forgive the Master later, whose crimes are far more numerous and far worse? And those bizarre and insanely cruel punishments he inflicted on them when they were going to DIE ANYWAY was just... so out of character. He's never felt it was his own right to judge people before - why'd he start now? >.> And selling drugs IS wrong and it's stupid BUT seriously, it's their own damn business and the Doctor has no right to, again, judge people, and he's never done so before. And they didn't do anything wrong to Martha, but he blew up at them over her. Which was stupid and irrational and very not him. XP The Scooby Doo/Ghostbuster thing was terrifying and awful and camp and everything not good. gonk Ummm... his insanely cruel punishment is a director/writer choice, not an actor choice. Most of what you are mentioning is stuff the writer/director control, not Tennant. Are you complaining about the actor himself, or what the writers/directors did to the character?

Murhur, read the first page- couldn't be bothered to read the rest and I honestly don't know where the argument is at.
But I understand the end of the last season, see it in this way.
He's alone, but not alone and no-one quite understands him. He think he is the last of his race, and from what I gather he can feel the presence of other Timelord's in his head.
And all of a sudden he finds out that he is not alone and that this is his chance to redeem himself.
From what I gather, HE committed genocide to save the universe from the Dalek race.
What's a planet next to the rest of space and time?

People tend to shrink when they age. That was a 900 year old version of him if he didn't have the magic of regeneration. What I really want to know is how Jack turned into the face of Bo. But anyway, the only reason why The Doctor would have wanted the Master to live is because he was alone. Imagine being the only one of your race left, how would you feel?
