Dante continued to watch her. His demon bretherin began to suspect that something was wrong with him. Ky, his best friend asked him about it. "Dante, what's going on? You've been acting strangely. You've been hunting deer instead of humans, and you've been disappearing at night." Dante looked at Ky. "There is nothing wrong. I've merely been trying to improve my hunting skills." Dante was lying. He knew that Ky would not understand what was happening to him.

Well a few people talked to me but just pitty talks. I went home. I did and found a note on the fridge "Going on business trip hope you feel better order anything you want with the credit card." Their never home. I ordered some pizza. I opened the drawer I saw a knife I put it on the counter. I knew I'd use it some day. I'll leave it there until I need it.

Dante happened to be watching the house. He wasn't sure why he was. However, He began to sense movement around the house. There was a burglar trying to break in. Dante got the jump on him and made him scream in fear. He knocked the burglar senseless.

I heard a scream outside the window. I ran to it. What the hell just happened? I grabbed a flashlight and went outside. I didn't hear anything as I walked towards the back of the house. Finally I saw Dante and an unconious body.
"Back for more food right? well don't get blood everywhere alright." I began to turn to walk away.

Dante began to speak. "This human was prowling outside of your domain. I believe he was looking for a way in. Do you know him?"

"No probably a burgular I'll call the cops. Thank you." Did i really just tell him thanks? "What are you doing here anyway?" I guess he must be stalker or something. I think the next part had concern in it. "I mean it's freezing out here."

Dante didn't understand what she meant. "Freezing? But I don't see any ice. Is there going to be ice soon?" He was quite confused.

"No Dante I mean it's cold." I shook my head. I hope he's not as stupid as that comment made him look. I was freezing out there. "Well I'm going inside." Strangley around him I didn't feel as lonely as I always did. It felt kinda nice.

Dante followed. He found the inside of the house to be strange. He had never seen anything like it. "How strange. The sun has gone down but it isn't dark. What kind of magic is this?"

I decied to joke around "I'm a witch! I did all of this." Then he stared and I hit the floor laughing. Then I stopped he didn't loom to happy. "No It's called electricity. And thats called a lamp it uses electricity to light up things."

Dante was impressed. He didn't know that humans could create such things. He was in awe as the girl told him all about modern day technology. After some time, sirens could be heard.

"Crap cops Dante hide!" I said he sat there. I pushed him behind the couch and went to the door. I whispered "don't move"
I greeted the officers.
"We had a call in?" "Yes There was a burgular outside luckily my... dog got to him tough dog." "Ok" I lead them to the back yard. "Thanks miss." "ok." Then they left and I went inside. "That was close."

"No There called cops or police they sort of keep the peace, like make sure everythings ok no ones breaking the rules. They help you when something happens."

Dante understood. "Ah, so they are like the elders. They punish those who break the rules." Upon saying this, Dante realized that he could be breaking a rule by befriending the girl. But that didn't seem to matter much to him.
