The Dark Lord ignored the... plebeian. He was all brute strength but unlike some of the people of this planet - he was would hold back on using it. Foolishness to its highest extent.
What was the point of power if you did not subjugate those without it? The strong were meant to rule and lead the weak. That was the natural order of things.
"I would refine your methods, yes. You are already quite talented, Miss Red. However, I have roughly 4,000 years of knowledge to work with as well. Surely somewhere in the darkest Holocrons of the ancient Sith Masters is something you could work with," Explained the Sith. She was intelligent - and crafty. The Dark Lord found this... exciting. Such promising potential within her!
The shadow-man turned away from her, "I can and am willing to teach you things, my dear. Your mind is open to much knowledge and you are more than strong enough to grasp it. Fools like Valin, KenoTao, or this here one who styles himself the name Unks, are nobodies - nothings in the Force. They have no destiny, no purpose, and most of all - no power."
"Valin Lobel is nothing but a liar. A liar and a broken man. Too broken and weak to realize how weak and broken he really is. He clings hopelessly that his vaunted Jedi way can somehow save him, somehow 'free' him. He too does not know his place as a mortal amongst mortals."
He reached up to his hood and pulled it down slowly.
Felder Dai-Kalim had been a handsome man once. A very handsome man. But Darth Rutum wore the face of Felder Dai-Kalin - and a shattered, twisted, and corrupted verison of that face. Ashen grey like a corpse, the skin seemed unnaturally dry, and his eyes - his eyes burned like a thousand suns. Those eyes were sickly and revolting yellow and red, and it seemed as if evil itself was within them.
"Valin Lobel is no victim, unlike your KenoTao may be. Valin Lobel made a choice. He killed my family and hundreds more. He had the audacity to stripe me of the Force. He preaches his weak prattle of being a servant and caretaker. He is none of these things. Valin Lobel is no hero - he is an empty shell. Broken and beaten. And even your KenoTao... he did destroy an entire city. That was his will, was it not? How many more children go home tonight without family, without parents? How many more rot in the ground? You hate that man with good reason, Miss Red. He is a monster like Valin Lobel. They strive not for power to organize, to bring order to chaos. They strive for power to further destroy. Where ever they go, they leave a wake of doom, death, and destruction. They are nothing but empty shells."
He looked at Red with those yellow eyes, as if peering into her mind and soul, "Have you ever cruised past the Jedi's surface thoughts? He has powerful mental walls up at all times. But underneath..." He smiled cruelity, "Underneath - there is nothing left."

"Strong words, but what is life but perception, what is truly evil and what is wise, can we judge from our position alone the points of others to be inferior while we claim to be right, perhaps injustice to you is justice in the eyes of the smiter. The way I see it, nothing is left of you...nothing but hate and fear."
The ghostly figured draped in a big black ragged cloak had no real image, just that ragged large form that now stood next to Red like a guardian a gatekeeper that stood by her side to give aid if need be.

Standing literally on her own two feet Red placed her right arm on Saba's left side, pushing him away like a curtain in her way. Though her motions were slow and ever so gentle, the power behind her gestures threatened to cause the very ground to quake.
"I don't need protection, thank you," she said, unsure of what to call the rather large demon of a man. Her interest was in Valin actually. It was all she could do to remain calm with KenoTao's name coming up over and over again, but her interest was not in killing him at the moment. It wasn't in the power either. It was more attuned to Valin.
"I've not cared to know anything beyond what he tells me of himself. His experiences mean something and regardless of his past, it is exactly that. As such, his experiences and ideals are what they are because of that. I have no intent to contest what it is he stands for, but his perception of the world does not complement my own." His advice however was coursing through her mind rather clearly, and despite herself, she seemed much more grateful than anticipated for what he had warned her of.
"I thank you for your offer, but what I need is hands on training. I have a mentor already and an elder with a library whose content transcends my own imagination. With these I should be fine. However, there are many here who think it cute to play games with me when I try to apply my skills in actual combat. They hold back enough to keep me alive and most times mobile at the end of the fight. If you could be one of those individuals that has no such reserve for my well being, then perhaps there is something you can do for me."

He moved to the side as she wanted and paid close attention to this Sith's movements...one wrong move...and only Reds request would stop him from putting this Sith through the wall. However his outside form was void of any emotion and steady as a rock. He took to pay attention to Red's words and nodded as if approving her actions.....she was standing on her own two feet now.....literally!

The Orinian Emperor makes his usual entrance, wearing his red trenchcoat and fedora, effectively hiding all but the bottommost hems of his purple pinstripe slacks and his polished shoes. His tail swaying about and parting his coattails, he turns his head to survey the area. Different company here tonight, save a few dreadfully boring few. The fox woman, the Saiya-jin git, and two that the demon does not recognize. One, in particular, sparks his interest. A Sith, from the looks of it.
While his eye strays toward the bar briefly, Wesley's legs follow a less chosen path leading to the tables surrounding the center of the room. He's brought his flask this time, anyway. Rather calmly taking a seat for himself only a few yards away, Taliman makes himself comfortable. Right leg over his knee and his left elbow atop the back of his chair, he leans his temple into his knuckles, right arm resting upon the tabletop. This looks to be interesting.
