::He smiled and took the sword from her slowly. He put the sheath on his belt and then unsheathed the sword and looked at the magnificently colored blood red blade. He moved back from her slightly a look of worry on his face seeing her fatigue.
He began to twirl the blade in his right hand looking at it with every swing. He then thrusted the blade forward and began to swing the blade around quickly. He watched as the blade's color was still so vibrant with every swing.
He jumped into the air and began to spin around quickly so that he became a vortex and the blade's color made it look like a bright red mini tornado. He slowed down and then went back to the ring and sheathed the sword::
"Wow the blade is so light just like yours. I can't wait till I unlock it's power."

As Unks played with his new toy she smirked resting her attention on Red. Clearing undaunted by the woman's "impromptu" appearance she immediately thought of the question at hand.
"Well from my experience, a weapon must be an extension of the users will. Any weapon you choose should reflect what you feel would be most representative. I suppose since I have only seen you fight with mainly hand to hand, perhaps knuckles and bracers. But you would be surprised in what you could do with other implements"
Not sure if here words would suffice she smiled weakily.
"In my experience, most water magic users enjoyed weapons that either flowed like their water or worked to fill the flaws their magic could not fill. Though water has few flaws."

All she could do in response was shift her weight onto her right leg, her tail flipping impatiently. No matter how she though about it, she came up with nothing, although the knuckles idea would probably be most practical for her style. She would have to be sure to at least consider that a bit more.

I've never really considered what flaws my orchestration may have aside from the fact that I've still much learning and perfecting to do."
Falling silent again, she was still at a loss. She had quite a bit of moonstone courtesy of her tutor, but she was wondering if stone was the choice substance. A stronger material might be more desired, like a crystal of sorts, but considering she hadn't yet made a choice, the material issue could wait until later.

((I haven't rped in the last few days. I actually had plans yesterday so It worked out well enough.))
"Kendo's group mages are individuals who train just as hard in melee as they do with their magic. He holds much value in his weapons as they are literally made from him.
His great sword is actually a magically altered section of his very bone. Such weapons made from ones self seem to attune themselves to magic and use far better than conventional weapons. They literally are an extension of their user."
Running her hand through her hair she sighed.
"Sometimes I wish he wasn't so cryptic though. In your case, water makes for a excellent offensive, defensive and support magic. Why would need make a weapon anyway?"

"That's exactly what I was thinking," she answered, growing irritated with the thought. She had no problem coupling magic with melee, but she was more confident with her limbs than anything else. If she had to use a weapon of any sort, a projectile would be best, but why make something she was just gonna throw away?
"Does it really matter though? Even if I make something, I'm not obligated to actually utilize it. As much of a waste as that seems, it's not too irrational. Yet you mentioned that weapons can be made from the self. Would he be expecting me to do such a thing? I'd much rather not remove my bone for something I'll never use."
Her eyes flared at the thought of it. Removing bone would take even her out of action for a while and was much too painful a process to put up with for no real reason. She could not make Epithany tell her what she wanted to hear, but it wouldn't make her any less upset at the prospect.

Frowning at the proposition of making a weapon only to throw it away she shook her head.
"I don't see what good it would be to make a weapon just to throw it away. Thats wasted time and materials. I guess I could go talk to Sas....errr Kendo for you. He'll just have to move on with his magic lessons. Or you could just take the route I did and join my mage's guild. Thats where I learned my magic usage. Kendo was just just my martial arts teacher. He never actually taught me magic like he was supposed to..."
Her mind wander she shivered at the thought of having to implant the seed of the Lazuras stone in her body. The practice was something she considered disgusting, but it allowed for feats like using your femur for a sword. Blood steel seemed a better item for Soul weapon construction. Shrugging she thought for a moment.
"Wait a minute! Have you ever thought of making a weapon out of water? Water in continuous flow is extremely dense. I sometimes have used to it to make barriers and the like. I bet thats what Kendo was going for. Sometimes he should just say what he means. Not all of us can read minds."

Since she was already frowning, it could not be much more defined at being informed that Red was not only taking a completely different track from Kendo, but that his cryptic language had caused her to waste so much time overlooking the big picture.
"Well I have kept liquid moving swift enough to act as solid material as thin as thread. Barriers and projectiles you've seen in both forms if I recall. However, I've not really used it commonly in any single form. Water flows and changes shape. I use it as I need it when the time calls and return it to it's natural form after."
She was sure the memory of the illusion would inform her senpai of such, but that depended on how much of the illusion Epithany had allowed herself to experience. Red personally never tried to trick herself into one after becoming aware of it so she wasn't sure if the feat was possible.

Smirking the mage crossed her arms over her chest. Opening her mouth to say something she at once became silent as if a thought had lodged itself on route to her tongue.
"Perhaps doing what you are doing is just what he wants. Since a weapon is supposed to be an extension of one's self, seamlessly chaining your water mastery into your physical attacks. Water is form-less, making your fighting style fluid makes it impossible to read and therefore more dangerous than any conventional weapon."
Laughing she smiled broadly.
"I've been trying to wield my magic seamlessly as well. Its pretty difficult, but I'm getting better at it."
