With a glance over her shoulder at the towering Knight, Jade quickly rolled over and jumped back up to her feet as light as a feather, spinning the Seinorei blade for a moment before stretching out her right shoulder.
"I've hit and knocked over plenty of trees, Father. The thing is, they don't usually fight back."
She smirked, before returning to an attacking stance. The girl was dressed similarly to Sir Aaron; with a tight black tanktop that fit her to a tee, it hung over the top of her ripped jeans which were just a touch too long, dropping over her feet. She wore no shoes, like the Knight, and had on her worn locket and a pair of leather fingerless gloves to add grip to the ancient blade.
If it was one thing she had learned during Deity's last rampage as the Devil, was that despite her natural affinity with Seinorei, she didn't have any mastery of it. Jade knew the spells, but it was also a sword, a weapon of it's own, even without the magic. So it was time to forget everything, and start all over.
While asking Deity for help would have been Jade's first choice, naturally, She had gone with his father instead. Her love, even if asked, was more prone to hold back against her in training together. Sir Aaron, on the other hand, would know just how much to hold back, and how much strength to use to be of the most help.
Jade spun the ancient blade again in her hands, before taking up her stance and narrowing her green eyes. The eight Orinian symbols engraved into the narrow weapon shimmered slightly with a soft blue glow. It felt so light in her hands, she had to make sure at time that there was a sword in her grasp.
Speed over power was the trick. Holding Seinorei down at her right side with both hands, the girl kicked off, forcing her power into her legs for swiftness, instead of her arms for strength. Approaching the man twice her size rapidly, Jade planted her right foot firmly about 4 feet away. She used her momentum to spin her body around quickly, swinging Seinorei up and over her head. After the spin, she planted her left foot, closing the gap between them as she swung Seinorei down at the Knight.

::The Knight is at once compelled to believe that Jade has misinterpreted his meaning. While her approach is swifter, her attacks remain the same, which is the key attribute that needs perfecting. With a steady hand, Wesley turns his arm to aim his weapon tip-down and extends it as the girl moves into her spinning strike. Just as she completes her spin and lets her attack fly, the blue blade collides with Aaron's. He uses just enough force to dampen her momentum and stop her sword; in the same motion as his block, he flicks his wrist, using the flat edge of his sword to deftly swat at Jade's undefended right kneecap. Using the edge could be dangerous - using the blunt side allows him enough freedom to make his point without any lasting injury. If he could successfully take that leg out, her balance would shift forward, thus leaving her open to further attack.::

All of the speed and energy from her spinning attack was lost in an instant against Sir Aaron's blade. And as smooth as can be, he took out her front leg with minimal effort, sending her sprawling forwards onto the floor with her legs twisted around each other, completely open. She was lucky he was on her side. If it had been Caine she was fighting, she'd have lost her leg.
Quickly trying to get out of the way of any more strikes, Jade rolled forwards a few times to untangle herself, before jumping up with Seinorei held at the ready. Her left knee throbbed a little, a nice bruise would show up later from that one.
With a heavy sigh, the girl spoke, though never taking her green-eyed gaze from the Knight.
".....alright, Sir.....I believe I might have missed something....."

::Keeping his emerald eyes and sword aimed at Jade, the Knight turns slowly, arm relaxing somewhat as he releases a slow breath through his nose. He clears his throat before replying, knowing better than to attack an unprepared adversary.::
You only hastened your approach, while your tactics remained sluggish. Swords are not crossed at long range. Move in as steadily as you like, but your attacks must be swift--
::As the words are spoken, he slices his sword through the air twice, the air itself seeming to be cut with both sudden whips of the blade.::
--and precise. Your aim must not be to use your speed or power to inflict damage on your opponent as soon as possible. Defend yourself and keep your opponent on their toes long enough for an opening, a mistake on their part. It will allow you to deal the most possible damage with the least amount of effort on your part.
If you were my enemy, this brief exchange would 'ave been the end of you. A single mistake can and will turn the tide of any battle.
