::Unks held let the hand grab him and then focused his mind on the hand and used it rip open the flow as it hit the wall with a loud crash. As the water rushed to the ground Unks was hoving above it and smiled looking at the kitsune.
He kicked off the wall and charged at her once more this time not wanting to stop. He arched his right arm back and let it get consumed by his ki energy and his left hand had it's blue glow. He was gonna try something new.
As he got closer he began to throw his left hand only in a flurry of punches torwards his. The blue glow on his hand stayed as Red would feel the force of the first couple hits before she realized what it was. He got close and threw his ki covered fist torwards her stomach at full force::

Indeed Red took each hit rather off gaurd, not expecting an invisible strike, let alone several of them. She was soon winded and unable to react to anything before an incredible and eerie pain surged through her body from the impact of the ki based punch to her gut.
Blood sprayed from her mouth in a staggering gasp for air and she fell to her knees, frozen with pain for a moment. This was the part where she would start lashing out with everything she had. The water, the air, time itself would seem to freeze as she suddenly conumed this man before he could react and crushed him like a bug.
However, that wasn't the case. Instead she got up, as though none of that just happened. She looked at him with a gaze that spelled predictability, satisfaction, and disappointment all at once.
"It's just as I thought," she said before fading away. It wasn't just her though, it was everything. The frost on the ring, his boots, the water that lay spilt everywhere, all of it vanished. Even the ring seemed to shift to the left by like an inch or so. As for Red, she was standing lazily in the threshold of the entrance, arms crossed over her chest, tail hanging limp at her left side, eyes staring at the wall.
She seemed in no way interested in everything that had just happened. To her, everything that had just happened, was an exercise to sharpen an old and rarely used skill. She turned to face him and had a look that lacked any intrigue whatsoever.
"I had expected I knew you enough to catch you in an illusion. Your moves seem almost to follow a small number of patterns each time you fight. It makes guessing your next step way too easy and as a result I cannot only create an illusion to trap you in, but sustain it nearly flawlessly without your ever being aware of it."
As though expecting him to be upset with this news, she paused to see how he would react. If he didn't take the news too well, she'd simply leave him to think it through himself. Otherwise, she'd tell him what he wanted to know. His choice.

::Unks watched as everything changed and he turned to face the kitsune and smiled. He clapped his hands in applause, and stepped closer to her slowly in a non-threatening way.
"Impressive, very well done Red. But it felt so real to me, and I should be been able to tell it was an illusion but didn't. .How?"
He stopped clapping and looked at her sitting down in the ring, but keeping his guard up incase she tried to attack him after she explained. He crossed his legs and let his arms rest on them like a kid in a classroom during story time::

She looked at him with a bit of intrigue. Apparently he didn't get as pissed as she did when someone messed with her head. That could be good or bad she figured. Either way, it was good that he didn't feel too bad because stomaching the explanation she felt he justly deserved would be that much more difficult to do.
"To put it simply, I can create illusions that alter time, space, and matter in the real world. Further I am a rather skilled telepath, though I usually only use a small percentage of my psionic power. Coupled together I can make your mind and body believe it is experiencing something it is not.
"To get into the more detailed parts of it would take too long, but you should also know that at a certain point, beings become so influenced by my illusion that reality warps completely, exposing them to whatever effects I make them believe they are suffering. It's all up to me, but it takes quite a bit of concentration and due to the chronic headaches I have suffered as of late, I haven't had the ability to do even what little I exposed you to."

::Unks nodded and smiled as she explained to him about her skill. It was a lot like Epithany's magic, that must be where she learned it from. He stood up once more and walked off the ring and closer to her but not to close to offend her. He didn't take his eyes off hers::
"That is really impressive. It reminds me of Pith's spells but she never used them like that. And if you'd ever like help training with your mind concentration I'll be more then happy to help, just like you have Pith helping you."

Looming in the shadows cast by the corridor leading toward the arena the mage stood observing the scene in silence. Stepping into the light she clapped a smile curling on her lips.
"Refraction of waves, an illusion that I would be hard pressed to duplicate. If not for the heavy tinge of mana present in the air, I would have been fooled myself."
Clad in unassuming blood red mage's robes and flowing blue cloak she made her way past the kitsune and toward her husband. Coming before him she frowned. Flicking his nose she smirked
"Use your sense of smell next time...water doesn't refract scent very well. Its the only real flaw in the technique"
Truthfully she had to admit she probably wouldn't have thought of the battle being a n illusion either. But being on the outside of events always tended to give a level of perspective that one involved would never have.

"You wife had nothing to do with that power," she stated dryly and to the point. She didn't want him attributing what strengths she did have to someone else and the bite behind her words said as much. Even as Epithany passed by, she maintained the point, though she was impressed at her awareness of the large amount of mana that still permeated the air. It did take a lot of concentration, but her mana flared as well.
"Anyway, I don't really need any help with that trait thanks. I have it under control." The only thing she really had no control over was her own scent. She was the only person she couldn't really smell and therefore couldn't replicate the scent of very well. Thankfully Unks hadn't caught on although it would prove difficult for her to pull that prank again if he thought about his wife's advice. He was indeed lucky to have one so keen on observation.

::The saiya-jin wrinkled his nose when it was flicked by his wife and he smiled with a slightly blush. He then looked abck at red feeling the sting of her words but he was used to it by now. He then looked between the two and smiled::
"You both make very good points and I will remember to use them the next chance I get too."

Adjusting her blue tinted glasses she smiled.
"How are you both?"
Moving toward one of the arena seats she settled down lightly, releasing the katana she randomly seemed to be carrying, from her back an atop her lap. She had been off at the Soul Fountain reading in her study. It had been a considerable amount of time since she had done as much, but it was fun. Yawning slightly she propped her chin her palm gazing from person to person.

::unks looked at his wife and smiled as she sat down but he looked more at the katana she had with her. He blinked a few times before the blade moved off her lap and into his hand. He took the sword out of the sheath and swung it a few times before sheathing it once more still holding it though::
"I've been ok love, been busy training and what not. So you've been studying. .How is Iccolo doing? I haven't seen him in a few days."

"I'm well enough I supposed," she answered as she sat herself down on the ground, extending her legs with her back against the wall. She was actually feeling a headache come on, but it would fade once she recovered. Her mind was elsewhere also, so the severity was nothing really.
"What about you? You seem to study a lot, and your affairs have little to do with this place, so I can't keep up with your progress as much as others that enjoy this club..." She almost seemed to lack the energy to even speak, which her tail illustrated by it's lack of impatience, lying limpy in her lap as he stroked it softly, maintaining her awareness of her surroundings.

Grinning she gained a thoughtful expression.
"I've been studying anatomical structure and higher level magically assisted artificial intelligence. Its stuff on the cusp of my usual lines of study, alchemy and some new forms of invocation. Basically I wish to have my automatons function independently better.
Golem intelligence is something that I like to improve on with each summoning. Calling forth true elementals leaves much to be desired as you have to always provide them with some sort of penance. Thats too much work in my opinion. Thus smarter automatons makes things go smoother."
Thinking out loud she laughed dumbly.
"Sorry, again you guys probably didn't care to know all that. But its truly fascinating stuff. Its not all books and calculations all the time. Lots of hand on workouts to get a better feel for things."
In Unk's an odd almost heart beat like pulse emanated from the blade. Oblivion seemed to be hungry again as it had not been fed as of late. Eyeing the sword from afar her brow furrowed. The pulsing slowed.

::The sounds around Unks were muffled as he focused on the sword in his hand. He took the blade one more out of the sheath and felt a energy flowing through it and a slight pulse. He blinked a few times knowing what this sword was and continued to hold it in his hand. He swung it a few more times.
He dropped the sheath and continued to move the sword around making the movements and attack flow so fluidly and perfectly getting faster with every attack he made moving along the ring::

As was usually her style when Epithany began explaining things, she took in every word, though most of it meant little to her. However the vocabulary wasn't hard to follow, just the concepts she was unfamiliar with. She signaled this with a hum as she rose to her feet, the exhaustion being too much for her.
"Well I'm not really experienced with using golems, but if they're anything like familiars, then I would have to agree that the smarter they are, the better. Perhaps I'll visit your library one day and see what articles of interest lie in store for me. For now though, I'm going home."
Saying as much she rose to her feet, straigtened her skirt, and made her way down the hall, her footsteps refusing to emit any noise when they otherwise should have tapped against the floor. Being the case, unless they listened for the door, they would be unaware of when exactly she left the club and took the all too familiar trip home.

Glancing at Unks as he swung about the blood red blade its edge almost glowing more and more vibrantly with each movement. Dancing across the air parting the very wind it touched the sword seemed to almost be happy being released from the dark confines of its sheath.
The soul weapon was one that literally was a part of its creator. Weapons of this type were created to reflect different facets of their creator. This blade was no different. Watching the sword play she was returned to reality when Red replied to her comments about her studies.
"Golems are interesting as they go up in complexity. Many familiars are actually magically crafted higher golems...."
Pleased to hear that someone might actually visit her library she smiled broadly.
"That would be great."
Waving as Red departed she returned her attention to her husband.
"Having fun?"
